Well done for realising that your family and friends need you on this earth. And then look around yourself - and see how many other people, that you don't even know - need you!!!!! Give 50 bucks to a destitute person tomorrow - see the look in their eyes - and see how that makes you feel. it's beautiful.
My very straightlaced father turned me on to Dylan in 1963, when I was 12 years old. We were riding in his car on NYC's Westside Highway, when a Dylan song came on the radio, and dad told me he thought Dylan was brilliant. To this day, I have no idea how my father even knew who Dylan was, but I will never forget the moment. I miss you, Dad.
The truthfulness of Dylan’s words meant that all but the worst of us would appreciate his genius. Rest in peace to your father, I’m sure he was a great man.
I always interpreted the line, "the answer is blowin' in the wind", as indicating that the answer is there, we can all see it, it's tangible, but every time we reach out it just blows in the wind. We all know how to not be violent and treat each other with dignity, yet we always fail somehow, no matter how hard we seem to try.
u're lucky to grow listening to such an amazing singer . it's my french teacher who told us about him last week and here I'm now listening to this beautiful song while walking to my highschool !!

The lyrics of this song bring tears to my eyes, especially with the shape of the world today. There are so many problems that have not been addressed. More have been added, and still, "the answers are blowing in the wind."

I wasn’t alive anywhere close when this song came out but this song is genuinely electrifying. One of those “you had to be there” moments in history. It’s a simple song yet says so much. I remember during Covid lockdown when I was a high school sophomore, I found this song and fell in love with the work of Bob Dylan. In my personal opinion, the greatest songwriter of all time.

The seventh best song in history, created by the master and Nobel Prize winner, Bob Dylan in 1962. Undoubtedly a song that touches during any crisis, in my case, Nicaragua and its dictator who has murdered in recent months hundreds. Thank you, Bob, thank you for writing your songs with a golden pen.

Let's say this is the seventh. Then here is my top six: 6. Bridge Over Troubled Water by Simon and Goldwater. 5. Let the River Run by Carly Simon 4. Blackbird by the Beatles 3. A Change is Gonna Come by Sam Cooke 2. It is Well with My Soul.....by Selah And number one is heard at many funerals and done best by Judy Collins. The history of the song is quite beautiful and can be googled: 1. AMAZING GRACE written by John Newton.

I did figure out how to fix the DUI's. It took me 45 yrs to realize I just needed to quit drinking. 3 yrs+, since I had a drink. Not bragging just saying. Thanks, again, for replying. 'Blowin' in the Wind' serves as a powerful anthem for social change, urging us to confront injustice and strive for a better tomorrow. Its relevance remains undiminished, inspiring countless individuals to advocate for peace, equality, and compassion. Thank you, Bob Dylan, for this masterpiece that continues to stir hearts and minds with its powerful message of hope and activism.
I really love listening to Bob Dylan's music as it brings back so many memories of back in the day!! I really loved growing up in the sixties and seventies because the music can never be replaced. I've been listening to this song for over 50 years!?!? And I'm still always surprised how raw and emotional it is. It's more like something you would here by a ravaged old blues singer than by a kid barely old enough to drink or drive. God bless you Bobby

Es tut mir leid das dein Vater gestorben ist. Er wird immer in deinem Herzen sein😊🙃😪❤
Thanks for the support. It's my outmost pleasure having you here, thanks for your support you have been giving me all these years, I won't be here if not for you my lovely fan. I hope you find joy and happiness in my songs
This song reminds me of my Father, we live in different cities. I love you dad. I would love to dedicate this song to my father ❤❤
If you can hear the words of the song and if they mean something to you, then be the change. It starts with you.
Couldn’t of said it better myself
When people choose this song, yet somehow 'void' the meaning within the words - its a hard day ......
Seventh?
Seventh? That is very specific. What are the other ones because I would like to know.
Death Says Bye I’ve seen the top 5 Rolling Stones song list. Is this 7th?
Thanks for the support. It's my outmost pleasure having you here, thanks for your support you have been giving me all these years, I won't be here if not for you my lovely fan. I hope you find joy and happiness in my songs
Let's say this is the seventh. Then here is my top six:
6. Bridge Over Troubled Water by Simon and Goldwater.
5. Let the River Run by Carly Simon
4. Blackbird by the Beatles
3. A Change is Gonna Come by Sam Cooke
2. It is Well with My Soul.....by Selah
And number one is heard at many funerals and done best by Judy Collins. The history of the song is quite beautiful and can be googled:
1. AMAZING GRACE
written by John Newton.
Truly a masterpiece. God bless you, Dylan

Some folks think Dylan would make a wonderful president! I'm one of those folks!
@@jasonyost1479 Oh sure, like we want Dylan's Lullaby to be America's anthem?
@@TheRojo387 His music makes a little more sense then some things I've seen, the last few years. I don't know if he would make a good president, I just threw that out there. At least, someone replied to it. I appreciate that. I'm not much into the politics. I don't have any control of it. I have a couple DUI's, my bad, but, I haven't even checked to see if I can vote. I did figure out how to fix the DUI's. It took me 45 yrs to realize I just needed to quit drinking. 3 yrs+, since I had a drink. Not bragging just saying. Thanks, again, for replying. Hope you & your loved ones, Stay Safe. World is a harder place to live in, than it was a while back. Or, maybe I'm just getting older. 👍🤔👍
'Blowin' in the Wind' serves as a powerful anthem for social change, urging us to confront injustice and strive for a better tomorrow. Eternal lyrics, Sir Bob Dylan! We are grateful to have lived with you on this earth!
This was the first Dylan song I ever heard. My sitter Barbara played it on her guitar. I must have been four, yet I can recall the experience as though it were yesterday. Dylan is a poetic genius.

I've been listening to this song for over 50 years!?!? And I'm still always surprised how raw and emotional it is. It's more like something you would here by a ravaged old blues singer than by a kid barely old enough to drink or drive. God bless you Bobby
I have been hearing it for 28 years and I never get enough. That's not a song that you start disliking after listening to it many times.
its bad ig
I'm from Bangladesh suffering from the depression of current status of my country, my status my job and I'm being overwhelmed. The simple line "Blow-in the wind" give me the answer to overcome all these trauma

EVERY ONE of Bob Dylan's songs are as relevant to the young people of today as they were for us back then. Young people need to be the agents of change.
