1:43 those jars look way better on the Wii U lol and that would be the only thing better, I like the Wii U lighting more too. But those 1080p are 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
@Christmas Tree Zelda has never been a photorealistic game... it’s a cartoony fantasy game. The resolution is better on Switch but I still think the Wii U version has better coloring and atmosphere over all.
I think this is the first time I finaly see a significant difference between the Switch and the Wii U. At some points it looks like a PS4 versus Switch comparison of a 3rd party port.
Not idiots, but experts and observers. I agree that for 98% of the people, casual consumers and non-speedrunners, the experience is the same on both machine.
Swade The DS did not, unless you you like jagged nearest neighbor scalling at an even lower resolution. Although severely mishandled at first, the N64 definitely has better hardware than the DS, just straight comparing the specs.
On the New3ds, the game is amazing. The graphical style is reminiscent of the 3ds remakes of OoT and MM. Due to the updated hardware, the frame rate and low enemy count problem is fixed. The game has more content than the wii u version too.
I guess the port was rushed tbh. But hey its 1080p60fps unlike wii u 720p 30fps. I can say the wii u had domewhat a better lighting than switch but damn the render distance and the textures dont seem to age well other than the pots.
JanNemo most Warriors games target 30 though. Including the Wii U version of this game so it is a substantial upgrade and a noteworthy aspect of this version.
I like the darker aesthetic of the Wii u more, it makes the surrounding area look better at times like in 1:18 or 1:42. And I always prefer cloudy weather over sunny weather so thats why I like the Wii u's version better. But obviously the switch has better graphics.

Looking back, I realize the Wii U version kind of has its own charm to it. It's darker and has an almost grittier, slightly more realistic vibe to it than the Switch version does. Though I can't deny the character textures and colors on the Switch version look stunning in person.
Mr. Game & Watch It makes it look normal. Or what? Do you think it makes sense for it to practically look like it’s nighttime during the day, and for Link’s shadow to be that visible despite it being so dark? The Wii U version looks like it’s way too dark for no reason. Almost like they forgot about the lighting.
It looks fitting for an invasion type of thing, it would only make sense if it was kept like that, like dark aura while being under attacked, I have no other ways to put it.
The Switch version has that silky smooth frame rate, but I dislike the change in lighting. It can look charming at times, but I definitely prefer the Wii U’s somewhat more realistic lighting. I also like the shallow depth of field effect during the cutscenes in the Wii U version.
This comparison is nonsense. People who own 3ds know damn well it looks better on Switch, Wii U owners know the differences aren’t that big, and Switch owners already have the best version so they don’t care.
Mario Ceballos I find the Wii U more appealing yet the switch is rather bright, losing its original charm from the first. Also I am visually impaired thank you very much :D
Hey, If you use the Citra emulator on pc, you can customize resolution and it will actually somewhat have a chance. My pc is weak but it can still run 720p 60fps before any lag. 720p looks way better than the native 240p thats for a 3ds If you have a good pc you can even have your 3ds games run at 4K 120fps like you mentioned in your joke
La diferencia es evidente, no puedo decir de resolución por que mi internet no da para más :'v pero se nota en la iluminación, texturas y en la altura de Link en 0:49 que esta es una verdadera "EDICIÓN DEFINITIVA"

The 3DS only looks 'bad' because the screen is way more stretched than it used to be. It's pretty impressive to have such an action packed game on a small handheld.
i've noticed 3ds games always look way better on the actual 3ds cause it's a small screen, rather than the larger format videos. The game looks WAY better than it does here, although I specifically didn't buy it as I will get the switch version.
While the Switch version obviously looks the best, I think the Wii U version honestly has a better feel to it. I feel the lighting for various things is better on the Wii U version. Doesn't matter much anyway, I already own both the Wii U and 3DS Versions and want the Switch version as well.

Gonna have to say, for a device like the 3ds 3ds graphics are actually pretty good. I do think its too blurry but, i can use the citra emulator to set the resolution to 720p or maybe 1080p depending on the game
Its conflicting; Wii U version has "better" effects, like dynamic terrain lighting, but ironically Switch version seems more fitting to Zelda with less shadows and more vibrant colors.
It's weird. The Nintendo Switch version looks overall much much better, but then the Wii U version looks more polished when it comes to objects, such as jugs...
The switch has some great points here and there but the brightness is crazy and some textures are just plain awful. The Wii version looks better in my opinion.
Privacy Police yeah, 1:44 is good example the Switch pots looks like shit. Technically of course the Switch version is better, but I prefer some the Wii U's original art directions

Probably to help clarity on handheld play.
