I've been painting waves forever - my stye is a lot different, but this might be the best tutorial for realism I've seen. Definitely taking away some ideas from this.
As I watch you create, I can tell you are painting your vision in your mind as to what you want it to look like. It’s much harder for we observers because we are mostly following you blindly not knowing where you are in your mind. I can’t wait until I am able to even come close to seeing it in my mind. Thank you for this unique way of building a seashore.
Очень круто ! Реализм-лучшее,чтт есть в живописи. Сегодня многие увлеклись абстракцией,кубизмом,примитивизмом. А я за художников,которые веками передавали красоту окружающего мира ! Супер !
Looks so realistic. One thing i learned over the years, is not to paint other peoples paintings, but to learn from what they teach. I say that because i found my own still and i have to stick with that.
Love this tutorial, I think I am ready to do this, I have tried before but I don't think I was there yet as a painter. I am hoping I am but we shall see. I will wait a few days as I am recovering from strep throat and two ear infections and pink eye hopefully I will be better in a few days.
This was a really lovely tutorial. Thank you so much. You're very talented. I have only just started painting and would love to try this. You made it look quite easy. I am sure that is your years of painting at work. But I plan to give it a go😀
Absolutely beautiful Mark and great to see a new video from you. Excellent tutorial too as usual. Wouldnt like to see your ceiling LOL...bet its not white now!!! Keep it up..looking forward to the next one :)
Love your tutorials not able to be I. The comp as don’t have paints but really great just you sharing your talent with this tutorial saving it to do in the future
Thanks Mark. I’m intrigued by your paint set up. You seem to have a wooden board for the colours and mix your colours up on plastic or paper, in front of that? Would love to know.
Hi, I have a wooden board in front of my colours for mixing up on, for filming tutorials though sometimes I mix colour on something white so that it's easier for viewers to see. It's usually just a piece of MDF or whatever is kicking around!
When you were splattering, there was a glare from the light preventing us from clearly seeing it. Maybe can you turn the light around abit, or use another light source ? Lovely painting !
My brushes don’t seem to have as much paint in them. I must not be getting the most out of my brush strokes. Maybe my brush is too small, too. I love the pebbles! But my arm will be sore later!
Looks like that brush whipping gets the heart pumping (kill 2 birds with one stone, a painting and a workout lol). Appreciate your time sharing so much…
this is so calming!!! thank you for just being you
You are so welcome! 🙏
Bravo ! Very very very instructive work and so estethic, love it 👌
Thank you very much!

Hey welcome back 😊, painting is outstanding 🎉
Thank you so much 😀
By banging the brush over a piece of timber, got the same result and not so exhaustive.
Great idea!
