You are more than welcome. Thank YOU so much for the super thanks - that really makes a difference to us being able to keep creating content like this! Cheers :D
i am sitting in wonderment, how easy and natural you make it all look. Thank you for showing us all your techniques, brushes and paints - this is soooo helpful. What you have painted in this video reflects perfect Peace and Calmness.....the foundation for producing a beautiful painting. Must watch part 2 now. Thank you very much.
Hi from the uk. Thank you for teaching us . And a massive thank you saying you use a household paintbrush instead of an expensive Bob Ross brush that I can't afford. X
Thankyou so much.love these tutorials. I need to do Freemantle South Beach for my daughter in law and have been putting it off. This has inspired me to finally give it a go.
I attended the workshop. Can't recommend Mark's workshops (and videos) enough. If you want to learn about painting beach scenes, water or marine scenes then Mark's channel is the one to follow. Also highly recommend their recipe book on their website!
Excellent tutorial!! I've never been truly satisfied with my skies, but adding some Phthalo blue to the Ultramarine for the upper level of the sky was very helpful! Thank you. That final blend with a light sweep of the larger brush is also a great tip. Understanding the water color gradations helps a lot, too.
Scusa, ti ho scoperto solo ora, piacere di conoscerti 😊 i tuoi video, anche se non capisco l'inglese, sono chiari e la tua tecnica mi è di grande aiuto, sono appassionata di pittura anche se non ho studiato Arte
I've been really enjoying your projects and your tutoring style. Thanks so much for sharing your excellent artistic skills. May I ask - what surface are you painting on; and do you frame your works in any particular style of frame?
You are so welcome! I generally paint on stretched canvas and generally don't frame works, unless they are smaller works on watercolour paper! Hope that helps!
Hey! beautiful! i dont have much Yellow atm, would mixing a light green (limegreen) into the blue also work for the water? or do i have to get more yellow? haha
I’ve tried other tutorials, and I have to say you are the one that helped me the most. Thank you for inspiring a new artist. Also, I have to ask, do you want to get married now or wait awhile.?! Lol😄

This an amazing tutorial Sir!😍.. do you happen to have an Instagram account too?🤔😊 Thank you for sharing these techniques for beginners like me. Will definitely try do my very first try painting on canvas based on your tutorials. More power to your channel, Sire!🍻🎆🎇😊
Hmmm that's a bit difficult. If you have Dioxazine Purple and Pthalo Blue you can try warming up the Pthalo with a tiny touch of Dioxazine. Or if you have Alizarine you could try that. It won't be that beautiful bright summer sky though!
There are a few reasons. The main one is that because our earth is a sphere, the horizon rarely appears as a hard, distinct line. Using tape creates a hard line which when viewed, sets off our BS alarms in a very subtle way. Using a brush means we can create a bit of atmosphere along that horizon line too, which generally appears much more realistic. It's also just a personal preference. Good practise for painting a straight line too :) Hope that answers your question!
fellow Aussie here from north coast NSW. Its so generous of you to show us your process and l love your water recipe's

Hola Maria, gracias por tu comentario. ¿Encontraste el siguiente video? Es un enlace al final de este :)
How about just using the tape to do the horizon ?
Are you trying to make me hyperventilate? 😂 NO TAPE. NOT EVER. (Not for me anyway).
@@ExploreAcrylics curious to know why ? Just thinking as masking tape makes it easier
