Hi Joel and everyone else, really enjoyed these stories, as I do all of you narrations Joel. The first story reminded me of the song by Steve Earle - Copperhead Road. Have a good day all.
Thank you as always. I’m the daughter of a Vietnam Veteran and that 2nd story hit home for all our Veterans. I’m glad I listened to it this morning. Thank you for reading it and thank you to the very brave person who shared it. ❤
been listening to you for years and i turn this on and my wife says i bet it’s one from georgia and i turn this on and not only in georgia but in the very town we are in right now CARTERSVILLE GEORGIA!! this place is still just as messed up as it was then!! thank you Joel for all you do
Unfortunately, it's extremely common over there. It's well documented for years. Even higher ups knew Afghanistan soldiers brought young boys onto American bases and graped them while American soldiers were threatened against doing anything. Some soldiers couldn't stand by and attacked the men to save the boys and they were immediately pulled from duty
So awesome! Just got back from seeing Mr Ballen live in Dallas like 30 minutes ago, (flew here from Seattle literally just for the show lol got to meet him too!) then saw this when i got back to my Airbnb. What a night! 😎. If you ever decided to do a live show, Joel, I'll be at your show too! Bet!
I just want to say I was bummed when I first saw these videos with long timestamps but only a couple of stories; however, I am invested in these longer stories and really enjoying them now! Something about getting extra details and really getting to know these OPs is enjoyable. I’m ashamed I ever doubted the king 😂
Joel i really should have had a story on this. I have a real life true story that would make ur toes curl. Involving family that was LAW ENFORCEMENT and it ended up gruesome and life altering. Man i just wish i could put it into words
Clearly you have to try!?? Can't possibly leave all of youtube here wondering???. And if your not a writer, so what?! Joel will be reading it and we will all love it anyway. He could make a dictionary reading sound interesting. C'mon you have to try!
Intense, from start to finish. Bravo, Joel! I do love the more long, deep stories that explore the finer details and back story as to why it all came to such a horrible end. Or, as in these stories, a brilliantly brutal end for people truly deserving of the title monster. Fantastic job!
My guess would be that a morally bankrupt nation that allows kidnapping, abuse and rape by a native ally for its own advancement is doomed to fall. Think karma.
Story 2... As sad as it is it would cost the taxpayers more to ship all the equipment back to the US than to leave it abandoned in Kabal. No excuse for what happened to the brave 13 that tragically lost their lives over an incompetent regime running this country right now.
I prefer my choice of lyrics; “ I fought the law and uh-I won! ” I listened to Green Day’s version of that song on the day I had to defend myself in court against an overzealous cop who got me on trumped up charges. ( I won )
@@eddie_5779that's because many of them are blindly loyal, so far up some youtube creator's ass that if anyone dares to critique their idol they get upset and freak out...or like this person, they sing his praises before they even know if it's true or not.
Currently looking at 2/6 for pos of mth and codn and reading/listing with ur uploads late at nite really help stay sobr and uner the prole dar. thanks cuz
The last story was more of a revelation to me. I learned long ago that certain groups of people, where centuries of habits grow to become more of a way of life, those certain groups will continue along that path and cannot, or will not, change. Even when a better life is shown to them. What is sad is that the Afghanistan it's found it easy to comply on the outside, but inside they still did as they have been doing. I also noted a bit of allegory in the police Commander with a particular candidate for becoming the boss in a very powerful country. He displayed a certain amount of malignant narcissistic, pedophilia, mysgogeny. Very much like we have in our own candidate for our highest office. Both the police Commander and our candidate would have been great friends, a pair of autocrats. 😮

If there have already been other stories about such things can someone please tell me which episodes those are?
I understand that what fast Eddie was doing was illegal at the time, but i highly doubt he ever wanted to kill anyone, but at high speed, chases, anything can happen, but what that crul cop did was very unjustified. And without Eddie not knowing his mother was okay and being framed for his wife's murder. Eddie was a man with nothing left to lose, and honestly, a man with nothing left to lose is a very scary individual.
Looks like it... I tried looking up Eddy's name every way I could spell it and info about Cartersville GA, but could find nothing. Whoever wrote that story is a great storyteller though.
@@AntiFaGoat It was a hugely enjoyable story, which certainly 'felt' true, but I did the same as you, and there's no evidence of it being true, unless the names and locations have been switched. I can't help but think that the Taliban specifically told the farmer to warn the author of the story... recognizing that they couldn't do anything about that Afghan officer, not for lack of trying, or wanting to; and decided that they'd do it themselves.

You'll no doubt have heard of a "Fast Eddie" but the one in the story is fictional.
The first story reminds me so much of the song Copperhead Road.
I literally paused the video after story 1 to go listen to that song real quick
Same last name and everything. Can’t be a coincidence.
