The guy in the 2nd story is one of the biggest cowards I've ever heard in my life. He'd rather cut all contact than help his girlfriend escape abuse. He didn't even do the bare minimum and call the cops! People like him are why so many women continue to get abused.
When did he say that she was his "girlfriend"? She clearly had baggage! Also women continue to get abused because they get with fools like that and stay with them. Absolutely no sympathy for women like that!!!
@@TheWedabest You sound like part of the problem. Women sometimes can't leave these assholes because they're worried that they'll get tracked down or their kid will be put in danger. They were in a relationship, that counts as a girlfriend to people who aren't weak and afraid of commitment.
I was literally going to say this. Dude expects a "reward" for just being a decent human being, and then whines about not getting the girl. At least he acknowledged that she was too good for him.
Like just be a good neibour and call the freaking cops. You just witness assult, dude. You can help that way. And why do the satisfaction of watching a bully being thrown into a cop car not be enough of a reward itself?
OP in story 2 needs to be alone for the rest of his life. Seeing a woman getting beaten, knowing she has a child and likely can't get away he was able to just turn a blind eye? Those weren't apologetic looks a hole. She was probably trying to signal you to help her.
At the very least call the damn cops! I know getting involved can cause trouble but not getting involved can lead to worse things. "I can only hope to find that happiness again", You won't and you don't deserve it coward.
abusive relationships aren't that simple. women usually lie to protect the husband out of fear, economic security, or often even love. and when they don't, the violence can escalate. there's a reason he didn't get involved, he had experience and knew. if you know, you know. obviously you don't.
My blood boiled when I heard the lady with the dog got murdered!!! That poor woman and that poor pup! It sickens me! Men like this need to be hunted down. I'm so pissed he is in hiding! I want him to suffer a painful death!
I skipped it after he said he was a creep and mentioned the woman being buxom. Made me scroll down, read he was a coward, and then not care about anything else he had to say.
Story 4, I had to pause after. I wanted to give that poor woman, and all other women who find themselves in that situation, a moment of silence. As someone who is still afraid of an ex, we survivors never ask to be in relationships like those. We just fall for someone pretending to be something they aren't. By the time we realize who these people really are, our fault lays in just wanting to help; in caring about someone. People think we're stupid for it, which only makes us more afraid to tell anyone when we suffer abuse. We internalize, believing some of it has to be our fault as relationships are two ways, we could have just left, etc. But in truth, it's not always that easy, in fact, in many if not most cases, it's not possible. We are mentally, and sometimes physically beaten down to believe we aren't strong enough, smart enough, financially stable enough, supported enough, and our abusers separate us from anyone who could help support us, so we have no choice but to rely solely on them. It's not us who is the problem. We aren't stupid. We're oppressed, and we're kind. And we suffer for it. A note to anyone who is in an abusive relationship: GET OUT. Don't make excuses for your abuser. They do not actually feel the caring things they say. They may think they do, but all they want is control. DO NOT GIVE THEM THAT CONTROL. You are a STRONG and BEAUTIFUL human being and you deserve the absolute best for you. Your abuser is not that. Yes, things may be difficult for a time, trying to live without the support you relied on, but there are many programs and community support projects that exist to help people in your situation. On top of that, start to call the cops every time the abuser scares you. DOCUMENT EVERYTHING! If they say abusive things, write them all down. It can help with a potential future restraining order. And lastly: once you've left, ignore anything that was positive in your relationship. Remembering, thinking about, and reminiscing about the "good times" will only hinder your resolve. Many cases of people who are severely injured by an abusive partner happen after the survivor leaves, and allows their ex access to them once more. Ignore all their calls, their love bombing, their attempts, lies and false promises. THEY WON'T CHANGE and you won't be able to forget how they hurt you, even if they could. It's NEVER WORTH YOUR LIFE to give them a final goodbye. Especially because they have not done anything to deserve such a level of respect from you. Please be safe everyone. Don't let anyone control your life but you... unless you're a kid. Then maybe let your parents do the lions share of the work. And don't do drugs...
I'll never understand why a guy can't accept a girl saying "No, I'm not interested in you, but I'd like to be friends." Isn't friendship better than nothing? you think threatening to kill the girl you like or hurting her is going to make it so you will like her? I highly doubt it. Putting fear into someone just because they don't like you like you want them to is not the answer. I know it's not just guys that are like that, that there are girls like that too. Being obsessed with someone can make a person do some incredibly stupid things.
I was literally wondering the same thing.. I absolutely do not understand that mentality, "Hi I like you so go out with me.. OR ELSE." Acting as if you are doing them a favor by liking them and that they ow you. That.. no, just no.. and of course the family victim blamed.. -_-;
Lore Sogge if you only want sex, just pay someone for it, or find someone who’s also just looking for a hookup. If you’re not interested in being friends at least to begin with, why would you want a relationship with them? Seems like a huge waste of time and effort to date someone purely to get laid.
Because the "friend zone" is just an excuse for girls to get something from guys that they aren't dating without feeling guilty about it. "I'm not using him, he's my friend. So now I don't have to feel ashamed of myself."
Sergei Yzerman you’re free to not be friends with anyone if you feel like they’re using you, or for any reason at all. Is the creepy part of that second story how he didn't even bother calling the cops when that man was hitting a woman he supposedly cared about and how there's a possibility both her and her son are dead now? If he didn't want to be in a relationship with her after that, that's entirely understandable. That doesn't mean you stand by and do absolutely nothing while someone you claim to care and admire is being hurt.
He didn't care about her. He lusted after her. That's why I don't get why people can waste time on things like one-night stands and hook-ups, etc. Because people who merely lust over you couldn't care less about you. Guy who dated his neighbor whose abusive ex came back.... well, yeah, you didn't deserve her if you HONESTLY said that even if she ASKED for help when this guy was abusing her you wouldn't have given it because you just wanted to stay out of it.
We always watch that show "Fear Thy Neighbor" on Investigation Discovery and I can't believe how some of those people act. Whenever the neighbors begin to squabble, _invariably,_ one of them will put up a huge spotlight, shining into their neighbor's bedroom at night. That always happens. If that were me, I'd get a piece of plywood cut _perfectly_ the shape of the inside of my window and I'd put rubber around the edges and stick that in the window at night. I'd probably put blackout curtains over that. That should block the light just fine without getting all stirred up which is what the crazy neighbor is hoping for. Some of these cases end up with someone getting shot. It's ridiculous. My neighbors are wonderful, but even if they weren't, I'd stay on my own property and leave them the heck alone and not do anything that is going to stir up the hornet's nest. Are we adults or are we children?
Some people arnt normal. The average human is a good person. The outliers are either really good or really bad. Some people are truly evil, petty, selfish, hateful.
Yeah but I love having access to my window at night. The sounds of outdoors, and I can hear any prowlers also --- no reason to be a prisoner in your house
Im so glad i found this awesome channel, there are a lot of channels from this genre but,its hard to find narrators that have an easy listening style like you that you can actually listen to without ever getting tired of them. Not very many people have the skills to read well, not mispronounce any words and the stories just flow effortlessly. I listen to these stories every night to help me sleep and ive been doing it for so long now that im hooked. Keep up the good work man,we all appreciate it.
What the HELL was the point of the second story?? Was the storyteller the scary neighbor in that one? It sure seemed like it to me - what a creep! I'd be embarrassed to admit that I was too cowardly and self-involved to intervene or try to help a woman being beaten right in front of me - let alone a woman I professed to care about! He's one cold, callous douchebag.
Story 6: what the hell Brad was thinking, didn't he get the hint? And his family too, too jumpy to conclusion, like yeah your son is a creeper. Congratulations for such a nice "parenting".
I'll never understand why it takes so long for a murder, or attempted murder charge to go to trail. I had an ex almost kill me, and I was so greatful that I managed to get away, and call the sheriff's department, and they sent out a friend of mine, and when I heard his voice, I busted through the screen door yelling his nickname, and I was crying, and he told me not to cry, because it'll encourage him to go after my ex, so I stopped, but when I got into his patrol car, I started crying again. My ex tried to set me on fire, and his lighter wouldn't work, hit me in the head repeatedly with his 357, and broke my glasses, but I kept fighting to survive. It took almost a year for him to go to trial, and I even called to see what was taking so long, and I was told that there were murderers that needed to be tried, and I yelled " That son of bitch tried to kill me! He try to set me on fire, beat me in the head with a 357, and you don't think that's important?!!" I was disgusted, but when his trial came around, he was found guilty, but the law took it's sweet time. The neighbor who shot at his neighbors, if I was his wife he'd be own his own, but the way he was described I'd of left him a long time ago.
Once again you are my calm before the storm laying down listening to your voice is the most rewarding and relaxing thing I so needed to help me get rest and anxiety levels down enough to try and sleep closing my eyes and just laying listening to you ahhhhhh how rewarding thanks for your help Joel your amazing and your stories or of success in my life ♥️
Love the video morty ♥️♥️♥️ Neighbors in the stories are wako 🙃🙃🙃 The guy in # 2 is a cowardly man! The cowardly lion is more braver than him! Hope that the woman and her kid is happy away from the abuse
Thanks for these am listening to these while in lockdown. In the UK. Found you as I listened to Corpse Husband, Lazy Masquerade, Mr Nightmare and Unit 522.
LOL I'm Japanese and know quite a few Japanese and half-Japanese people (and entire families) and I can't say I've known a single one to even own a throwing star. 😂 Ahh well, kids!!
The OP from story #2 belongs on r/niceguys, as well as all the absolutely crazy people in this comment section who are making excuses for him. He was a low-life coward who did nothing to help the person he claimed to care for when a monster hunted her down, abused her, and took her and her child away. If he wanted to cut ties, that was his prerogative, but the decent human thing to do would have been to make an anonymous call to the cops at the very least. In the end he was no better than her abuser. He was right, she definitely was too good for him.
Dude in story 2 is an effing coward. Even if it didn’t work out between the 2 of you you could have at least have done something. I have a lot of choice words for this guy but gonna keep it clean on Let’s Read channel
When I heard the last story it reminded me of what happened in my hometown not too many years ago. A young man names Kyle King, who was out walking his dog with his girlfriend who happened to be 7 months pregnant with twins, was shot and killed by a neighbor that he had been feuding with because Mr. King's dog had defecated in the neighbor's yard. He obviously went to jail for what he'd done. That doesn't make up for taking the life of the soon to be father twice over though. Very sad and completely unnecessary. 😢
I understand why the dude in the 2nd storydidnt wanna get involved in that situation but he couldve at least called the police instead of seeing a woman he was jnvolved with was being abused then left her to be abused. And even tried making it seem like its her fault. Smh
#2 is a dick. Sure, don’t get involved when a couple is arguing about where to go for dinner, but if he’s physically abusing her? Even more so if there is a child there? Dude, get involved. Call the cops. Get his license plate. Just do something. “Even if she asked for help, I wouldn’t do anything.” That’s gotta be the worst thing I’ve heard today.
The guy from the next to last story is a perfect picture of what damage you can do to a kid. Undoubtedly his family caused him to be that way by means of mental and/or emotional abuse, possibly even physical abuse. His mental breakdown is their fault. You can tell by the way they lashed out. I feel sorry for the girl, but also for the guy. He obviously had issues that needed to be dealt with but didn't know how. I hope he gets help, but then again, prison isn't about helping people is it?
I like how the guy who saw the woman he liked get abused was only focused on the time they shared and his feelings towards her, not her safety or well being. Not the safety of the kid, but just how he fell for her and how nice it was. What a dick. Like I can understand hesitating to get involved with domestic disputes and you do have to be careful, especially if she doesn't want to or isn't going to leave. But not caring at all not trying at all even if it's just to be a safe space is wild. But you thought she would take interest in you? Sir why would anyone want to be with a selfish coward.
Yes!! My concern. Si will be huge huge piles of deadly feces. Aunt no way gonna clean up dogs feces. So filthy. U really thunk people do it so perfectly and wash hands immed after putting poop in bag. Too many dogs in areas where they shouldn't be. None meant to live in concrete jungles.
I hate when people don't tell someone what's going on in these stories. Also, the nerve of the family of a kidnapper/attempted killer to get mad at the victim. Trash!
Bro literally saw a woman with a child getting beaten up and forced back into an abusive relationship and his takeaway is "i hope someday i will find someone who can make me feel as good as she did." Total psychopath. I hope she got away from her ex and i am relieved she didnt end up with OP.

Everybody makes fun of the “crazy neighbor”. But how do we know if we aren’t the “crazy neighbor”?
@bencanevari4056
Good point dude re dodgy neighbours... heard u like to " window shop " and take some lovely nighttime strolls 👁️🕵️📹🔭!!😏🤣🤣😉😉😳😂
We are human
Some people arnt normal. The average human is a good person. The outliers are either really good or really bad. Some people are truly evil, petty, selfish, hateful.
Totally agree. Try peaceful alternatives first
Yeah but I love having access to my window at night. The sounds of outdoors, and I can hear any prowlers also --- no reason to be a prisoner in your house
I listen to his live recording of this last night he's pretty awesome
Im so glad i found this awesome channel, there are a lot of channels from this genre but,its hard to find narrators that have an easy listening style like you that you can actually listen to without ever getting tired of them. Not very many people have the skills to read well, not mispronounce any words and the stories just flow effortlessly. I listen to these stories every night to help me sleep and ive been doing it for so long now that im hooked. Keep up the good work man,we all appreciate it.
At least story 2 op is honest, “even if she would’ve asked I probably wouldn’t” lol
He's one cold, callous douchebag.
i always get sooo excited when i see you upload haha I listen to your videos when I'm getting around for the day lolll. :)
Story #2, The Coward should have called the cops. It is hard for victims of domestic violence to leave their abusers.
Did anyone else find most of story #1 difficult to follow?
Absolutely
The second story isn't a scary one, it's a cowards story. That guy never even deserved the time he had with her and her son.
For some reason, your horror stories help me sleep at night. Thanks!
Thank you for sharing these stories. 🎉
Yo that dude was a coward. Didn't stand up for the chick and then at the end he prayed nightly FOR HIMSELF NOT EVEN THE GIRL LMMFAOOOOO what a creep
The one who threw rocks at the cat, like stand him away and throw rocks at him.
Story 6: what the hell Brad was thinking, didn't he get the hint? And his family too, too jumpy to conclusion, like yeah your son is a creeper. Congratulations for such a nice "parenting".
"Yeah she was found dead"
"Yeah eh probably the ex bf lol but what about the dog"
"Oh ...the dog....yeah it died too :("
"*pure anger*"
When I was in high school my next-door neighbor was a girl who went to the same school as me, and we literally never ever talked to each other🤣
My favorite time of day...cooking dinner and listening to you. My neighbors are cops and pot dealers...
@Makeup Minion damn phone lol. FAVORITE ha
My neighbors lives next to me
No way!!
My neighbors live in Peru
Luckyy
Story 2 shouldn't have been included. It was a story of abuse and a coward too pathetic to say or do anything. More sad than anything
He should've helped the lady and her son in Story 2.
Love falling asleep listening to these videos.
Once again you are my calm before the storm laying down listening to your voice is the most rewarding and relaxing thing I so needed to help me get rest and anxiety levels down enough to try and sleep closing my eyes and just laying listening to you ahhhhhh how rewarding thanks for your help Joel your amazing and your stories or of success in my life ♥️
I hate to break character but bitch boy in the second story is more scary than the abuser.
Story 3… the scariest part is you drinking coke when you’re thirsty
Love the video morty ♥️♥️♥️
Neighbors in the stories are wako 🙃🙃🙃
The guy in # 2 is a cowardly man!
You’re my absolute favorite!❤️ thanks for helping me sleep and have a nice drive to work
Super Saiyan?! Pbbbt. Dude went full Autonomous Ultra Instinct
Yep
Solid. Especially the first one. Gonna listen to that one again
I love the american phrase 'I booked it'.
A lot of people ignoring abuse here. Wtf is wrong with people? Call the fucking cops when you see domestic abuse, or any abuse!
The guy in story 2 is disturbing. What a coward. He was there for the sex, but when he needed to be a man, he acted like a huge coward.
The stories I could tell you about my Leagally declared crazy neighbor.
Well send it in, lol.
Oh okay
Me reading comments ab the 2nd guy before finishing the first story
Dude, I’ve been having a Let’s Read Marathon on this Corona Cation!
I love these stories
I'm sorry but if I see someone getting hit I'm stepping in
My neighbor just got arrested for growing weed
Turns out my property line is nowhere near where I thought it was
Sorry 4 him . I'm sure hes great!!!
Chuck testa
Lmao I know exactly where my property line is....... More of where it isn't is the focus lol 😂 😂
what do you mean about the property line, I also live by someone who does weed so...
The mess up made me laugh. I had to keep replaying
Now poor sanitation people have to deal with dog feces
Yes!!
Great stories!
Yeah, the dude in story 2... what a coward! I understand not wanting to get involved, but you were involved... couldn't you at least call the cops?
I hate when people don't tell someone what's going on in these stories.
Also, the nerve of the family of a kidnapper/attempted killer to get mad at the victim. Trash!
I like these types of videos
Perfect night to hear this after 3 hour blizzard commute
Just in time for me 💜💜💜

Great video
Awesome
Wait, Wichita Falls? Ft Worth? I used to live near both of those!
SAME!!
Did you ever stop to consider maybe your neighbors wife likes working on the truck?
But that wouldn't be sexist would it.
Wichita falls Texas!? Wow! My parents met, married, and had kids there. Still have some great friends that live there to this day
Bro literally saw a woman with a child getting beaten up and forced back into an abusive relationship and his takeaway is "i hope someday i will find someone who can make me feel as good as she did."
Total psychopath. I hope she got away from her ex and i am relieved she didnt end up with OP.
