How to Restore & Repair a Wool Coat

- In this tutorial video, we show you how to completely restore your wool-blend winter coat to its former glory! Over time, these types of overcoats or pea coats attract more and more lint and pet hair, and eventually they look terrible. We're going to show you how to solve this problem and make your favorite coat look new again!
To refresh your wool coat, you are going to need some supplies:
--Rubber Brush - we used the Gleener Ultimate Lint Remover (with the Pet Brush Accessory Pack), available here: amzn.to/2TssmFm
--Lint Roller - any brand will work.
--Fabric Shaver - we used one made by Bymore, available here: amzn.to/3ovlc1q
--Scissors

I have a wool-blend coat that I've been wearing near daily for about seven-eight years and it's been through a lot, including muddy camping trips and travelling and everything in between, so now it's looking a little bit worn. Hopefully this will mean I'll get to wear my coat for another few years! :D

Awesome! I have a wool coat that is looking rough....tried a normal lint roller and electric defuzzer and a plain razor and none of those worked to refresh and depill the wool. Do you think the gleaner would work if those things didn't? I am at a loss. Thanks!
Absolutely! It was the best thing we found for refreshing and depilling the wool.
Finally ordered and also purchased the Gleener. My Gleener didn't come with the silicone brush though, is that something that is sold separately or do that not make them anymore, do you know?

Is this glue okay to use to glue a fabric on a metal piece?
Tear Mender will work extremely well on fabric and leather, or any porous material. It will not work on something like metal, because it is not fibrous. Let us know if you have any more questions!
Do you have any tips to make a jacket like this less itchy?
Spray a mist of water/liquid fabric softener over the coat and lightly steam

It’s done for, don’t tumble dry wool or cotton, it will shrink
Re-wash it in cold water and conditioner. Take it out and put it on over a big thick sweater and lightly stretch it.
Had same problem🤦🏾♂️😢 washed my expensive Costume wrong in wash machine and has shrink 😢
