  • We have been in the Coronado area of Panama for 2 months now and wanted to show you what you can expect of the beaches in Coronado.
    There are many beaches around the Coronado area, all of which have a little something to offer. So in this video, we go over everything you should expect when coming to one of the most popular expat communities on the Pacific coast of Panama.
    At these black volcanic sand beaches, there is sport fishing, ATVs, great surfing swells and so much more! Unlike the popular all-inclusive beach towns you may be familiar with, you will have this place pretty much to yourself. There is so much to see in this small area and a little something for everyone. So allow us to show you around and explain what you can expect when coming to Coronado. We'll also explain why this place is so quiet and why you'll have pristine beaches all to yourself!
    We hope you enjoy this video as much as we enjoy a good beach day!

    Hey guys! I just got back from Rio Hato (last week of November). Me, my wife, my sister and brother in law. We all had a fantastic time and didn't want to return to Canada. We stayed at an all inclusive, but hired a private taxi for adventuring around the area. First trip we went to Penonome to let the girls do some local shopping. The locals were very welcoming despite our lack spanish. We did not feel unsafe or feel any kind of presure during our day shopping there. Our second trip was to the Panama Canal and old town Panama City. What a great experience! We all agreed it would be worth it just to take another vacation and stay in the city. There is so much to see and do. The real adventure began when we went to Anton Valley. Anton Valley is a settlement 2000ft above sea level in the crater of a dormant volcano. The climate there was so perfect and the beauty of being in the mountians level with the clouds was unmatched. Our plan was to stay on budget and do only one zipline ($20), but when we arrived we all agreed that all 6 ziplines was our new requirement($65). What fun! Definitely got one off our bucket list.
    Before our trip, I had watched one of your other videos where you were in the same area( Playa Blanca?) and along the Pacific coast.
    It made the decision to book the trip easier.
    All the food we had was great, but the fruit was amazing! Way fresher than what we are use to in our grocery stores.
    All in all we will be planning another trip to Panama.
    No regrets!

Punta Barco, Rio Mar, San Carlos, La Ermita, Las Guias, Rio Hato, Buenaventura and many more beaches. You will find nice and very under develop beaches in the southern cost of Veraguas, Los Santos province. By the way, great videos.

    It's a tradition to go to the beach on New Years Day, that and other holidays is when you will see crowds. Otherwise we have the beaches to ourselves. El Palmar, 10 minutes west of Coronado has several Surf Schools and surf vacation packages.

    • @KyleJess
      @KyleJess  2 роки тому +1

      We have definitely seen quite a few fireworks shows going off on the beach for sure, seems to be the way to also celebrate birthdays, as it happens almost every weekend haha. As far as surfing at El Palmar, thinking you might have a crystal ball over there Diane, stay tuned for next weekend and you'll see what we're talking about 🔮😉

    Hi Kyle and Jess. Do you have any advice for getting from Tocuman to Coronado? I've looked into a couple of shuttle services. Do you know if Uber is readily available there or if yellow cabs will go that far? Thanks.

    • @KyleJess
      @KyleJess  Рік тому +1

      From our personal experience it was most affordable to go from the airport to the Albrook bus terminal and bus it from there. The entire trip would be less than $20 doing it that way. If you're looking to go direct, you can take Uber or there are shuttle vans outside the airport, however those will run you over $100 for the same trip.
      So our suggestion to save money would be to go from the airport to the metro train, take that to Albrook station where you can get on the bus to Coronado and then taxi it into town, again all for less than $20. If you have too much luggage or just not up for taking those multiple modes of transport to get there, you can just step outside the airport and there will be taxi's and shuttles, just at a higher price.
      Hope this helps 🙂🙌

    • @KyleJess
      @KyleJess  Рік тому

      Thanks Alex! From our experience, anyone in Coronado can access the beaches there. There is a gate to get into Coronado and you need to have a place you're staying at to enter the community. But if say you're at an Airbnb or renting an apartment/condo in Coronado, you'll have access to the beach no problem. 🙂🙌

      We walked down Avendia Roberto Eisenmann from the condos across from Luna Rossa, and found a little pathway to the right, that is just before the next condo complex. I know that’s not the best description, but the best way we can describe how we got there from our Airbnb. But there are little pathways all along the beach, from Avenida Roberto Eisenmann.
