Try freezing the squid in the saltwater it was caught in. Defrosted it tastes exactly the same as fresh and I bet fish think the same. I’ve forgotten a squid frozen using this method and it literally tasted perfect when I defrosted it a year later.
Hey bill They are the Stradic 8000sw Awesome reels - they were made for the Japanese domestic market as they prefer a reel that’s lighter in weight It’s essentially a lighter weight Saragossa

The barometer is the air pressure. Generally speaking a crashing barometer will shut the fish down. On the other hand a rising barometer will get them chewing
