Yoooou did it! I'll tell you a secret. Way back in the first build, I had concerns about using a diesel in a relatively small build. I had visions of exactly that exhaust full of smoke. Now, I'll never bat an eyelash again when someone says diesel heater😉👍
I've never seen those ICECO pull-out drawers before; they are great! I'm glad you found and repaired the smokey diesel problem before you hit the road. You'll be riding in style for sure! It was nice to see Sam work with you.
I put a residential 110v freezer on separate inverter and it's own battery. Cold as a home freezer a less than 1/3 price of marine freezer. Over 30yrs, my ice cream was soup when I was out in my boat.
I use the top of freezer as part of counter.
I have enjoyed watching you tackle some big challenges!! I also just installed a Chinese Diesel heater. I saw multiple people saw the exhaust takes time to clear. Mine never blew the white exhaust, but it takes time warming up.

Love the table that can be tucked away. That’s a great plan! Very nice job installing your storage drawers and fridge and freezer! Half the job at times is deciphering those directions lol. It such a good feeling when you start your trip that your now satisfied with how everything turned out and that everything functions properly now. My kids used to jump out of their car seats after I unbuckled them. I wanted to recommend that you put a pool noodle over the leg for the table. Easy to take off and protects Ember if she does like my kids did. ❤

I believe a pressure regulator in the diesel line might have eliminated the flooding problem and allowed you to continue to use the van tank as a fuel source for your diesel heater but glad you got it fixed.
You are definitely my hero for lifting up that seat I know it was heavier than a boulder! And you did it twice!!❤️❤️❤️ and everything that you put in your van is absolutely beautiful I can’t wait to see a decorated! I’m glad you changed out everything!! Make your own as the dumbest situations arise with children when outside our house! I always have Benadryl, liquid and tabs, Ipacac, Peptal
Bismal tab & liquid, ice packs,
Heat packs, Thermometer
(not battery operated), a 1 foot wooden board, ace bandage,
GOod TWISTERS , Vaseline
(ya...it will draws splinters out when left on with bandaid overnight!
Opthamalic grade Saline (Eye Rinse and also used to wash wounds)
candy (good distraction),
a little stuffed toy
Vicks Vapor Rub (Great for putting under nose for stinky smells also!
Charcoal
2 BOTTLES OF PEDIALYTE !!
(I will use for myself too)
Then my usual bag for triage.

My chinese diesel on first start-up almost brought the fire company! 45 minutes of thick smoke! The booklet was useless but checked with other You Tubers (Guy in England was Best). I set my system down into the original bus flooring with insulation board.
Drilled a hole for exhaust "pipe" to exit bus and turning exhaust pipe to side of bus & not noticeable. I also wrapped the exhause pipe with a car racing tape as this pipe will produce severe burns if touched.

You can still use that fuel line connection, just put a pressure regulator on it.

The van build is nice, however you have a lot more space you can use fore more
storage or a shower ect,!! Check out matters on the map they travel with a baby as well, who knows maybe you guys can make play dates together IDK.
Save the other heater it will keep the skeeters away lol. You can name the old one the skeeter heater 5000 lol. love ya kido.

My hubby has a diesel heater in his semi to keep him warm.. u can get an s bar or a wabasto.. the diesel chamber needs to be cleaned out every now and then… the smoking part I hear ya it stinks horribly. Sorry that u were having some issues.. I know that if we were closer my hubby could have helped u with all that!!! He’s and expert on the wabasto stuff and has knowledge on the s bar

Take a piece of Styrofoam cut to shape for the top of the freezer side, should help to keep the temp down when you open up the lid when getting something out of the fridge side. The Van is looking awesome.

I hope that you can return the other tank and get some credit? Make sure to get you a device to put in your van that no fumes of any sort of coming into your van and everything stays normal in the air.!
