IMPORTANT INFO➡️ • This is a High Bar Squat (more quad dominant)
• Set the bar at chest height in the rack
• Knees traveling over toes is fine
• Heel elevation varies (But generally is 0.5-1”)
• Inhale & hold your air - gradually release as you near the top 1/2, or so, on the squat up
• When unracking, Your goal is to take as few steps as possible to get into position. (2 steps back, then small adjustments to your individual squat stance)
• The hips sliding slightly back will be more fluid moving into the squat - it’s usually not paused. Some do not teach this, but I’ve found it very useful
• Don’t externally rotate excessively (screwing the feet into the ground) I use it merely as a way to feel equal hip activation at the very start of the squat. It can help you start the squat balanced without favoring one side over the other. After the first few inches, I pay no mind to it
- Hope this helps. Love y’all
Do you edit these videos because the editing is insane🔥 Nice vid tho
💯
No he visto mejor explicación gráfica de un ejercicio nunca. Bravo socio
Davis maaan ur the best
You so handsome 😘 🔥🔥
Bro even tore his skin off to help us what a legend
Anything for you guys 🥲
More amazingly he put it back discreetly.
I suspect this comment may blow up
Guys guys guys, listen
I think it's animation 🤔

Bro these are some of the best lifting advice videos on the internet
I appreciate that! Thank you
@@DavisDiley fr man keep it up, you are helping and inspiring millions with these vids
Yes
@@DavisDileythe editing is so good man sheessssh
@@DavisDileyInsane editing work man, keep it up👍
This is probably the best video under a minute ever made, let alone the best squat video
How did they put his skin back on without any damage? It doesn't make sense
The editing of this video is out of this world! Great job :)
the editor just wanna see his family😭😭😭
He himself is the editor ❤️🔥
I have seen this comment before 😏
Try again
@@abhinandpaulm8858 yeah
Sshhh
More like this guy's familu wanna see him. Cause he himself edits all his videos. And is quiet regular too lol
The most detailed squat video in under a minute.
Squat university has a better tutorial for universal squatting imo
@@asanalmahathir he has several videos on it, can't really link them all since his whole channel focuses on of
Honestly as someone who has watched a ton of squat tutorials, this actually might be the best. And the shortest - well done 👍
Mad respect for creasing the fuck out of those Js for the sake of the tutorial.
@andrewz2854 they aren't jordans
Bro those TRAPS 🥵🥵
They HUGGED the bar. jesus
@PradeepKumar-tp3hkfr my back be hurting whenever i try smh
That was first thing I thought 😂
Came here to say this lol
@@Pidgeys don't use pads, if you can't put the bar on your traps try low bar squats, not only does it make your lifts more powerful but its comfortable
The editor definitely deserves a raise🙌
He is the editor
Why do people need raises for doing something right the first time. We need to start saying so and so needs a pay cut for doing a shitty job.
The editor is good though
Como faz toda essa edição?
@@arbre_mystique😂😂😂
Which shorts & shoes are that ?which brand / collection?
Sliding the hips back was the game changer for me - unbelievable stability and pain free
I think that’s the only bad advice here: you should be able to go down without that movement if you have enough mobility
Bro forgot to tell when to breathe out.
BRACING part did. Its there.
ever you life
My man those traps got better grip than my hands 😂
Bro thats crazyy the edits are cleaner than my squat form
well not for long!

@@makaveli7145Agreed, if cbum shape was actually achievable without dying in the process

He is the Definition of perfection .
Superb edit btw.
Omg this helped so much versus all the 30 min UA-cam on how to squat
I found your tutorials are truly the best on UA-cam, short, clear and complete. I watch them every time before the exercise to remind myself the key points. Job well done!!!
Respect for the editor is increasing day by day❤😮😮❤️
He himself is the editor ❤️🔥
This man has Incredible editing Skill
This is absolutely fantastic. It’s exact instructions with visuals, everything a person needs to do a squat perfectly. I want to watch all your videos now.
It's amazing how I end up finding this video right before I start looking for a squat tutorial! This guy is truly amazing and I love his channel!
This dude's edits have come so far. Leagues ahead of literally everyone else.
Man we missed you, dont leave us hanging
The best!! Instructional videos out there!! Clear / perfectly demonstrated - my go to resource any time I have lifting questions.
Thanks bro !!
this is a work of art
Davis helped me alot to understand how to train properly and my physique you should always pay attention guys believe me
literally this is one of the best squat tutorials ever i completely gave up on squatting because i have problems with my knee so i only hack squat now for my main movement but this still applies i’m glad he said find your own squat stance because it really is different for everyone. i was told by everyone around me i needed to squat a certain way that worked for them and it ended up messing up the tendon in my left knee so i’m really glad you have a tutorial to find your own stance i feel like in a majority of squat tutorial videos they say you have to squat with a certain form. literally this and a video from squat university are the only videos i’ve seen that show you how to find your own stance. thank you for spreading this knowledge davis!!
Been working out 4-5 days/week since early march this year, and videos like these helped me bring my squats from 90 lbs to 275 lbs. Thank you so much for contributing to my personal development!
LOL 😂, SURE
@@musicman7297tf you mean “yeah sure” dude spent 4 months working out and made some serious progress
@@ARandomComment123at this rate he's gonna have pretty big problem with joints

Alright Alex, I think I’ll go with “Things that never happened” for $1000. *DAILY DOUBLE*
This squat has more steps than my entire workout
This is one of those channels that I love so much and wished posted once every hour 😢
The Editing is So good. The video is very informative. Thank you 🙏
Entire video is loaded with genuine and quality information ❤
This guy is the man!
An extended version should include the safety aspects of it
I appreciate the editing level ❤
This is the best squat tutorial ever made
I'll keep this in mind the next time I squat.
This man just showed its possible to learn perfectly even without a nearby trainee.. ( i learned online some bench press but they dont cover the topic as fouent as him)
I would add that you need to breathe and brace in the same manner when you pick up heavier weights off the rack as well, key principle.
GODDAMN is this tutorial good.
Davis Diley top 5 dropping gym gems on youtube💯💯💯
I started my workout journey today and have been watching your videos as prep. I am glad I came across this one. Your videos have really helped me feel confident with my form and technique.

I used this guys guide to improve my deadlift form, now he’s helping me improve my squats. What a legend.
Man literally said what other people take a whole hour of 20 videos to tell. This video is extremely compressed
I love you - from all us tall men who needed this form reminder ❤😩
Fr wasn’t lying that is the best
The edits….everything about this 🔥 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
It’s so helpful the way you tell us what to think about while performing each rep it has helped me have much better form, thanks a lot
The video quality and style is insane😮😮
Wow, just wow, from the edits to the narrating, this was beautifully explained.
I love this. Thank you so much. I’ve been working out on my own so some things are naturally complicated to try to learn. This just taught me a lot. Genuinely thank you ❤️

Screwing the feet into the ground just blew my mind 🤯🤯 I’ve never done that before and it helps so much!
Dude, u need more subs.
Very informative and very good vision
damn, the tip about “pinching” your back really changed the game for me when i tried it; thank you so much!!
