Hi y'all good to get a Video of you guys. I've had a D.L. since I was 16 so that is 57 years I've had one, never was without it and I had a CDL for 4 years.
Looks like that equipment is headed to the Middle East. That Camp is about 1 1/2hrs from where I'm currently located. Thanks for everything you and the wife does.
Seems like you also need a roll of 100mph tape, to go with that tie wire and zipties. Seems like you’ve turned a corner from when the Mack gave you grief! Thanks for sharing and looking forward to seeing your new adventures!
Might be too late but check a Redisleeve. Once the seal area where’s down too much it will start to leak oil. For most seal they will sell a redisleeve. It’s basically a metal bushing that slides over the sealing surface. They are made for this exact reason so u don’t need to replace the spindle or axle
Robert if they're oil bearings never put grease on them they're meant to run in oil. Always use what they run in grease will get to hot and gaule the bearing then freeze itself to the snout. Be safe guys hope things stay busy for ya👍🇺🇸
no it wont, grease in an oil hub will work the same way as oil does, they are the same bearings and race in them. The seal is the only difference and an oil seal will hold grease in just fine.
Yeah...drain engine oil...fill with grease and it will also work just the same...and next time you milk a cow...switch the lever to cheese...lets just skip that common sense as well...stupid is what stupid does
That bridge has been there for at least 40 years I went over it as a kid with my dad in his dump truck. That was at one time consolidated pipe yard 1 Birmingham. I went over it about a year ago with a load of lumber . No issues
Once again another great video. It appears that Lita got a little dirty more than she normally does. Like the old saying goes it should come out in the wash. You guys take care out there. Prayers ❤.
6:00 I had someone swipe a cap off a Freightliner I was transporting. I saw them online for $25-$35 bucks at most places. Freightliner dealer charged $98 and that was with a $20 discount!
Alabama!!! I was there a few weeks ago! Hauled a load to Phoenix arizona....soent the weekend in alabama....there was this shell truck stop, damnit i didnt mark it on my phone....ribs, pork chops, greens and patatoes....
My dad would put STP OR SLICK 50 in his hubs sometimes. a little thicker than 80w 90 but not as thick as gun grease. Fleet Pride specializes in gear work and axles they would probably be the best people to get help and advice about axle hub and might have a fuel cap for truck. maybe try permatex blue instead of regular gasket.
I mean negotiating your hours is not a bad idea. If you're in a position of power like that in the transaction. why not? It's just business. Also it's retail, he can get all the other hours I'm sure that he wants, only they would be considered "extra" and not "expected" hours. It's kind of genius
My 3 caps have chains on them going into tank...what the hell...is this only a volvo idea or what..???..and to not remember to re-cap your fuel means your mind is on to many other things...Robert...slow down and calm down...breathe
That bridge doesn’t look too bad! I had to drive across a covered bridge in Ohio that had a date in the 1890’s on it loaded with 48k ! No weight limit signs. A local said lumber trucks drive across it every day!
Strange you had the creepy wooden bridge thing and just 2 days ago they had the bridge disaster in Baltimore. Weird how you timing worked out on that!!
My driver's side cap came off and I was sure I lost it. Looked along side the skirt that covers the tank, and there it was! Really need to buy a spare, just in case.
LOL, What card? "Just so you guys know, when a loading dock was indicated and I have to get my ramps out, that's an additional charge of $200 on both ends." A can of "Heet" is supposed to absorb water in gas. I don't know if it works on diesel fuel. At least you got closer to home. Have good days!
I drove both types of HMMWVs and they’re super slow because they’re governed at 55 mph. The armored ones are faster because they used to deploy with us in Iraq and Kuwait.
bruh! thats how u get dirt in u'r gas n filters! uggh! yea! huddle house! u could have hit the axle hard & bent the inner seal shafts! good luck ya'll... holy shit. what a sketchy bridge! geez!
These kids have no motivation these days, I know a dude that's in his late 20's early 30's and he has no motivation to get a DL all he cares about is smoking weed and playing video games
Don’t mix grease and oil. That’s why it’s leaking. The oil you put in it is coming out. Well at least pu a sandwich bag with a zip tie on the fuel tank.
If you use the stuff nothing will ever rust I've had a putty knife out in the rain for like 6 months I cleaned it all off and it's been there for 6 months never rushed it again it's been two years
Brooooo, id find something to put in place of that cap before it rains. I did the same thing 1 time and spent weeks draining the seperator and having the warning go off bc a bunch of water got in the tank.
Robert, when you put the plastic over the tank filler, did you punch a hole in it to allow it to vent? It’s possible that it may have sucked itself into the tank which will cause you problems later on.
Sorry...they do make stainless steel rackets because I use them for 12 years...never rust...never bind up...and never need lube on them...work smarter not harder...look for stainless steel binders..cost more..but worth it if they make them
I was legal driving at 15. Driving on public roads since younger. Heck drove truck before 15. 3 drivers tests. C, B, A. B and A were super easy. I passed before I drove a block. “Just drive around block, you passed”. Different cities, instructors. Mom had me drive if taking the stick shift. 3 on tree. You took it w/loading dock? There is no dock. You deserve more money. Those ramps were couple grand? So $100 every time you need to use is fair. 6 pieces you need to set/tear down store most over 50 lbs right?
Dang man the way you move your a Luke warm shot at best. Just kidding, ya got to let the little dude learn his own lessons. If my ride broke down I would be trying to fix that car. But it took me a long time be useful.
People have done this for years. Grease will be just fine in them. He shouldnt be mixing the oil and grease though, one or the other. They have the same bearings and races in the grease and oil bath axles.
You better make that wheel seal and bearings a priority or your liable to be looking in your mirror some day and see your set of duals chasing you down the highway or worse, hitting and killing some one. Bill
No I just seen you made a comment about binders what you use on them watch a lot of videos from people in the assault belt they use fluid film it has one in it l a i n l something lanolin there we go it is the bomb I found it at O'Reilly's in Escondido California you can buy it anywhere bro
That is good they buy stuff all over the place and they need it truck there , And that's what I am talking about you need to talk to them and tell them that you will call them where ever you are at in case they have a load , All you have to do to the trailer axle when you get home, Jack it up pull it apart wash all the bearings an inside the hub stick it back together and put 85 /140 gear oil in it , It's very simple, little bit of time , Relax Robert if you can not find a load you get yourself something to eat and then you crawl under the blankets with that good looking woman you are with 😂❤ Like you say NO you need to fix it before you have problems , I would not let nobody work on it you work on it yourself , Your Hauling and a bunch of tax payers wasted money you two be safe out there take care yourselves

I was biting at the bit to get my driver's license when I turned 16. My Dad took me to get it!
Excellent video with the ramps Robert, awesome to see how they work with loading. Keep trucking 👍
I've trained myself to put the caps on immediately after hanging the pump..ask me why😂
on yeah been there. good way to clog up fuel filters rather fast in winter.
Be safe and keep the positive attitude
Best background music yet! Love the horse and western music
Seems like you also need a roll of 100mph tape, to go with that tie wire and zipties.
Seems like you’ve turned a corner from when the Mack gave you grief! Thanks for sharing and looking forward to seeing your new adventures!
Robert, Drill a hole in the hub between the bearings and put in a grease fitting. Then pump in the wheel bearing grease, you'll get both bearings.
Might be too late but check a Redisleeve. Once the seal area where’s down too much it will start to leak oil. For most seal they will sell a redisleeve. @@dustinhuffman574 calm down warrenmichael918 is right all the difference is use the proper seal..........
Thanks for showing dash 34.16. I always carry hose clamps, would of fix fuel cap and many other things.

Mama is laughing at you Robert 😂. Robert just floor it over that bridge 🤣. Be safe and God bless.
6:00 I had someone swipe a cap off a Freightliner I was transporting. I saw them online for $25-$35 bucks at most places. Freightliner dealer charged $98 and that was with a $20 discount!
I just used engine oil on those binders it doesn't take much if you do it regularly.
Yeah Robert that bridge was a little sketchy. Glad u got Lita to walk across & video u driving across it. Be safe U 2
Alabama!!! I was there a few weeks ago! Hauled a load to Phoenix arizona....soent the weekend in alabama....there was this shell truck stop, damnit i didnt mark it on my phone....ribs, pork chops, greens and patatoes....
Gotta love those military vehicles. Those short ramps were no problem!
The diesel shop you parked across from in Piedmont, AL USA damn good shop for diesel work.
You don't last long in the working world when you tell the employer what hours you can only work. Tell your kid to buy a fricken bike!
Common practice in retail stores
@@jimslider2356 Because retail don't pay a decent wage, so they take what they can get.
They have all those E- Bikes. Make Joe proud.

This may have already been suggested but put the fuel cap on your floor on the drivers side or in the step infront of your door.
I put the fuel cap on my step in front of drivers door
My 3 caps have chains on them going into tank...what the hell...is this only a volvo idea or what..???..and to not remember to re-cap your fuel means your mind is on to many other things...Robert...slow down and calm down...breathe
@@dustinhuffman574naw most trucks have the caps on chains. Who knows why his doesn't.
I was tripping about y’all going over a old wooden bridge glad y’all made it.
that commback would make a killer camper
The no fuel cap in the rain makes me uncomfortable. I would be draining the water separator twice a day until I ran that tank of fuel out.
That bridge doesn’t look too bad! I had to drive across a covered bridge in Ohio that had a date in the 1890’s on it loaded with 48k ! No weight limit signs. A local said lumber trucks drive across it every day!
It will get better Robert, some days are just a shit show but there’s always tomorrow. 😀
Great video!! Happy Easter Weekend to you and Lita and your family and also tp Mackey and Fatbuts
Strange you had the creepy wooden bridge thing and just 2 days ago they had the bridge disaster in Baltimore. Weird how you timing worked out on that!!
I definitely agree that bridge was really sketchy it doesn't really look safe for any vehicle let alone a semi truck.
Safe travels
Get yourself a ‘grit-guard’ with a wear sleeve seal kit for your axle. It’s for axles that won’t seat or seal properly…
Love the short/simple intro “my opinion “
My driver's side cap came off and I was sure I lost it. Looked along side the skirt that covers the tank, and there it was! Really need to buy a spare, just in case.
You two need to get some loose fitting coveralls. It would sure save your clothes!
You seem to always get the craziest stuff to haul from the weirdest locations to haul.
Thats 6th ave music was a perfect tune for that 12 ave b,ham ,that's a rough area
I Was beside yall up around Atlanta a few days ago you had 2 escobeders
I’m not sure what an escobeder is but I don’t think that was us. We’ve been up north
Jacksonville, AL is not designed for truck traffic. It’s an old mill town. Went to school there.
You can call axle doctors & they'll cut the spindle off & replace if necessary
LOL, What card? "Just so you guys know, when a loading dock was indicated and I have to get my ramps out, that's an additional charge of $200 on both ends." A can of "Heet" is supposed to absorb water in gas. I don't know if it works on diesel fuel. At least you got closer to home.
Have good days!
Trains cross wooden bridges all the time. 😂
Grab a can of Fluid Film for the ratchet binders and anything else like that. So much better than PB Blaster, WD40 and the others.
Teach him about shoe leather express that might motivate his ass to get his DL
If you are told to replace the axle, all you need is a replacement spindle. It's much cheaper.
You may Want to try Southeast Trailer mart .
I drove both types of HMMWVs and they’re super slow because they’re governed at 55 mph. The armored ones are faster because they used to deploy with us in Iraq and Kuwait.
i think your going to get screwed on this load -i just got a funny feeling
Red n tacky spray works best on binders
Google maps has lied to me many times. Especially when from a stationary position
Go by a petro t/a or pilot an get you a cap
bruh! thats how u get dirt in u'r gas n filters! uggh! yea! huddle house! u could have hit the axle hard & bent the inner seal shafts! good luck ya'll...
holy shit. what a sketchy bridge! geez!
Oil bath bearing don’t need grease they need the oil to flow through them.
Thats the same problem a buddy of mind had with his step deck his is a 2019 he finally had to get rid of it.lost his 🫏 with buying that trailer
These kids have no motivation these days, I know a dude that's in his late 20's early 30's and he has no motivation to get a DL all he cares about is smoking weed and playing video games
I don't understand kids these days. I couldn't wait to get my license. Kids these days don't even want to get a license or drive.
CUT THE CORD!
@@marcuswhite1403they have the cool cars to drive like we did back in the 70's. But still your license= freedom 🇺🇸
I have a 53 foot trailer and you come up to a bridge with no height marking sometimes.
My stepdeck trailer axles just grease the bearings. No oil
Your in my neck of the woods
You should use only lithium Greece for your binders
non sequitur: love new england style Greek pizza when it's made right
Did you ever think to use a small generator instead of the APU ?
You should’ve talk to home slice about one of them ther tents Robert… They fetch about 10k a piece
Hi Robert and Lita
Got to love the gps sometimes . Old school map would be better alot of the time .
Don’t mix grease and oil. That’s why it’s leaking. The oil you put in it is coming out. Well at least pu a sandwich bag with a zip tie on the fuel tank.
I am late, I was busy proofing my drop, that is a lot of crap on your trailer
if you only had 1 of those things like startrack has you could just zap it or beam it over there for them lol
I wonder how long it will take too cover fuel tank,,,it will be fuel filters next with water in the tank and dirt aggghhh
Lol, hauling crude oil I've been over some real sketch bridges at some leases
If you use the stuff nothing will ever rust I've had a putty knife out in the rain for like 6 months I cleaned it all off and it's been there for 6 months never rushed it again it's been two years
I hope you covered that fuel tank open hole with it raining.
Get a fuel cap with a chain 😂
Great video Rob and Lita!!! Those new fenders look awesome on that KW!! Stay safe out there!!
You need to quit drinking them Monsters, they put you in a bad mood Robert
Brooooo, id find something to put in place of that cap before it rains. I did the same thing 1 time and spent weeks draining the seperator and having the warning go off bc a bunch of water got in the tank.
PB blaster is the only lubricant that will eat rust it's good stuff.
yep always use wd40 on binders when you stow them away or some kind of oil
Come on to Mississippi.
Robert, when you put the plastic over the tank filler, did you punch a hole in it to allow it to vent? It’s possible that it may have sucked itself into the tank which will cause you problems later on.
Pb blaster is great.
Look for stainless steel rackets...i wonder if they make them...worthless if they don't

I told him years ago...dump oil in engine and add grease...he is stupid about hubs...oil is the best...grease is every year or sooner
