I’m a longtime follower, Emily, who finds your videos really informative, helpful & so thoughtfully put together, particularly your Closet Curation series. I have been using the Stylebook app on my iPad for many years & find it really simple & so useful. It has almost all of the same features of the other apps already included in the one time purchase price, without the feeling of upselling😊
I really can't plan the night before, I need to see how I'm feeling in the morning and also check the weather again as it's very changeable in London. I'm definitely a mood dresser, I have a signature style, but I like to change outfits every day.
Indyx is sooo great! I’ve been outfit tracking for 2 1/2 months and it’s become a beautiful part of my everyday routine. It goes such a long way to: 1) Making sure I use everything I own, 2) Carefully contemplating how any new additions may or may not fit into the big picture. I have a little over 100 items (I did not catalogue underwear but everything else is in there - accessories, hair clips, swimwear, etc) and, it turns out, that’s the perfect size for me. ❤ If something new is coming in, something older is going out.
I'm so used to planning my outfit for the next day (Thanks Flylady!). On the days - often a Saturday - that I haven't preplanned my outfit it really makes me feel "stuck" rather than having an easy-flowing morning.
I have really have enjoyed your videos on colors, style and outfit combinations oh and the shoe videos too. I use Stylebook to track my outfits and keep track of what I have in my closet. I like it when I have my outfit planned. There is a calendar on the Stylebook app. My accessories are vintage and big. Very different from yours but they work for me. Some of my earrings are over 30 years old and more if I bought them vintage. Thanks so much for all the valuable advice. Even if we know our style, it helps to have reminders of how we can put our pieces together and how to use colors.
I plan my outfits for the week ahead on Saturday or Sunday. I check the weather forecast and put together 5 work day outfits, sometimes even going as far as to plan the accessories and jewelry (I know call me a weirdo). I like to do this because it gives me a chance to get creative when I have time and also it ensures that I am using all my clothes on rotation, not just the same things all the time (not 20% of my clothes 80% of the time!). I also try to avoid re wearing something on the exact day I wore the week before (ha ha, even weirder!?). I have a uniform style approach and if a piece works well for me, I sometimes get it in another colour. On the weekends I have a hard time dressing myself though!! ha ha. This summer I came close to my PERFECT collection and this winter I added a few new sweaters in vibrant colours to give my collection a bit of pizazz. Thanks for your tips. Hope you have a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year!!!
I have been on Cladwell for a few years. You can add your pieces if you don’t find it in the larger library or similar. It’s not perfect but has helped me think about what to wear any given day and/or prep for vacations by creating a capsule wardrobe of my clothes / then it shows some interesting combinations I hadn’t thought of. They also looked at what I had uploaded a gave me suggestions on what might be missing in my closet. (My request but part of the membership). They will also recommend what to bring in my closet to a specific place - warm vacay, business trip etc. overall I’m happy with it I just don’t use it regularly to get my value out of the membership.
Great video, as always, Emily! I’m a huge fan of style uniforms. Mine consists of Metta Melbourne’s Emily skirt (I have it in several colours) a cotton, button up blouse, and my Bared Mary Janes. Feminine yet breezy and relaxed. Would you mind telling me where that divine white blouse is from? It’s exactly my style, but try as I might, I simply cannot get the link to cooperate!
Hi lovely. The brand is Posse. I got it second hand, but I don’t think it’s for sale anymore. They have some similar ones on there but not exactly the same xx

You can also have the outfits hung together ready to grab. The shorts with the shirt and the handbag 👜
Love your blouses, I love feminine blouses as well !

I tend to gravitate towards basic items, ie jeans, t-shirts or shirts 🙂
I watched this to see where the black vest was from. A you provide a link?
