don't forget, when you're moving the speed slider, you can hold sneak to snap to preset values like 96, 128, 64, etc

Ive been using the elevator pully to create castle gates. Just 2 floors for up and down. Much simpler than rope pully versions.

you can even combine the redstone signal from the contacts to have doors on each floor also open when the elevator reaches an area, and you can also use note blocks to have elevator chimes.
whats an easy way to have a redstone signal reach a door without making it look messy

Great video- very informative! Also, if you hold a block in your off-hand while placing the copycat blocks, it will automatically turn into that block when you place it

Loved the video @Uberswe Plays Minecraft! Can't wait for the next video man! There's so much Potential with Create Mod and Valkyrien Skies, I've even got a Nice little Challenge for the Community to try out.
I know that not many people are into the Equipment that the Military Uses or used in the Past, but being able to Build the Vehicles, Ships, Aircraft and other Equipment from any point in History is among the Greatest Possibilities even for Games like Minecraft!
Imagine, You're Playing Minecraft and you come across some Pillagers and then you end up getting a Level 4 Village Raid on your Hands. All Alone, it can get pretty Long and Arduous. If you have some Friends with you, It'll go a bit quicker but sooner or later Someone's going to get Killed and if you're doing this in Hardcore Mode it's not that Ideal. Even if it's on Hard Mode so that you can Respawn, There's always the Chance of the Position where you Died gets overrun and You risk taking Further Casualties in trying to get your stuff back. With Create and Valkyrien Skies, There's the Possibility of Taking a Build Tutorial on UA-cam and Making it a Functional Working Build that you can Take to the Fight and Add some more Firepower to your Inventory by arming it with Create Big Cannons.
Now Imagine that Level 4 Village Raid in Hard Mode Survival Minecraft, but with Vehicles like the The AAVP-7A1, The LAV-25 "Piranha" or even something like the M1A2 SepV2 Abrams Main Battle Tanks backing you and maybe even your Friends up while fighting the Pillagers and the Ravagers. You might even go the extra Mile and make some Leather Armor Dyed to Look like the Actual Uniforms worn by Military Forces who operated these Vehicles and Enchanted some Bows and Crossbows to Represent the Equipment the Troops would use.

Fun fact with redstone links: You don't need a wrench to set a link's mode. You can just shift + right click the link with an empty hand.

Is it possible to make a "secret" elevator level? Something that won't be seen on the elevator controller, but could be accessed with a remote or the like? I want to build a spawn tower for a server, but I also want it to be my house. People will take an elevator from the top of the tower to the bottom, but people will be able to see my home/machines as they go down, but never access them. I tried using a redstone linked piston to push an elevator link into place, but you can't move them.

Hello there, Uberswe, I would like to see a way to improve the new 0.5.1 elevator. For example, when you are on the way to the third level and someone from level 1 calls the elevator, the elevator suddenly changes direction. Could you try to add something that prevents that?
It could definitely be done with some additional redstone but it would complicate the setup. Maybe I can include it in a future video that touches on elevators, I’ll keep it in mind. Thanks for the idea!

Is it possible to integrate this elevator system with an automatic door? For example, when the elevator reaches a level a 3x4 door made of blocks opens
Sure, the contact at each floor will give off a redstone signal. So when the signal is on you could open the door and when the signal is off you can close it.

Made mine, but I dont know why the doors takes a while untill they open, the slowest I set the motor the more they'll take.
How do you make it return to a floor without being on it?
You need to send a redstone signal to the contact on the current floor. This can be done with a button or wirelessly via a redstone link.
I think I've got a mod conflict or something. I got the elevator to switch floors but the pulley animation doesn't do the retract...and when I tried to set the doors opening, they opened on the way up and never closed.
Anyone think maybe Interactive or VS might have done it? Got a suite of Create mods and really want them to hang together for a modern feel.
Create Interactive is fun but also very experimental from my experience. I had to reset my world a few times when I was using it. I wouldn’t be surprised if it is causing some issues

Not with the elevator pulley. you can use a sticky mechanical piston or trains instead.
i cant place the display link on the elevator contact (9:26). it brings me in the elevator contact’s ui.

i pretty much copied this setup in my own world but the pulley just wont connect due to not "having a horizontal redstone contact"

I don’t know if anyone else has this problem but when I build my elevator it has kind of see through blocks of where the ones I placed are supposed to be anyone else?
Try F3 + A to reload. Usually this is caused by mods like optifine or sodium. Feel free to join my discord and share a screenshot and me or someone else will try to help you further

This so called "tutorial" stinks it doesn't work you rush though everything don't explain things really well and it doesn't work I am using Create 0.51 and your tutorial doesn't work my elevator won't move you do a poor job at explaining things and rush though this and go way too fast. Horrible Tutorial do better!

This is so weird...my version - 1.19.2, does not have an elevator pulley. I want to build this but the item just isn't there. Would you have any clue why? Edit: I am using Fabric, but I have the API as well.
The Fabric version has not been updated yet.
@@LOL-gn5oh Well that sucks. I was of the opinion that Fabric is better than forge, but after some research I'm seeing that's not the case...

Is there any way to send a redstone signal when the elevator reaches a certain floor? I want the doors to be on the wall of my elevator shaft and be closed when the cart isnt there and then to be opened when the cart gets there. the observer doesnt detect it i assume because its an assembled contraption.
