At last a proper smart watch from Xiaomi, week long battery life, Contactless payments, speaker and mic for Bluetooth calls and all the health tracking stuff at a reasonable price under 200usd. The lack of any message reply option is definitely a miss but not a big deal breaker. The interchangeable bezels are a nice extra. Thanks for sharing
Why does nobody say that Xiaomi S3 doesn't display emojis in notifications (from Whatsapp, Facebook Messenger, text messages and so on)? I own one and it doesn't show emojis... with the latest Mi Fitness app version, latest HyperOS on my Xiaomi 13 Pro 5G phone... this is nasty... all you get instead of emojis is empty squares...it's annoying...
Hi. I love this video and great details, very informative. Can you also recommend the perfect/best smart watch (Xiaomi) for WOMEN with thin/smaller wrist? Definitely with smaller screen/bezel 😅 Thank you very much. Planning to change my old Xiaomi Smartwatch.
Nahh I don't recommend it at all, the ring kept falling on it's own even though I did not used it for any exercise nor moving activity. I ended up losing a ring and had to purchase another one and ended up selling it.
@@MrIhssthlm Get it fixed where? There're actually very few people who do smartwatch repairs or even none lol, waste of time trying to find the right person. Besides there's no need to, I have already exchanged it for a Amazfit T-Rex 2 (better build quality).
Exactly. Also, the cmf watch pro was the same thing as the redmi watch 4 and the upcoming cmf watch pro2 is advertised to have interchangeable round bezels and I can bet, it will be the same thing as this.
This has some improved and/or added sensors compared to Redmi Watch 4 - the heart rate sensor in this watch is 12-channel instead of just 4-channel and this also has barometer and compass. And RW4 doesn't have contactless payment. (Also this doesn't have the stupid crown that's so easy to click with your wrist unintentionally. No idea why people want that thing on something that can be controlled perfectly fine with touch screen.)
The Kcal (calories burnt count) is ridiculously wrong on this watch. Been using it since a couple of weeks now and confirmed this from other users as well.
Most smart watches require connection to a phone at some point. There used to be some with Android, but there are lots of security concerns about them.
Hehe. Yeah, it's one thing to buy small electronics with software issues that can be a minor issue & a car that is having problems staying on the road. Rip.
It is not a very good campanion with iphone: no WatsApp notifications and too many problems with voice dictation.. So I don't recomend it if you ahve an iPhone.
Yeah. It's not the best watch in the world. I think at this price point it's simply a matter of what you need in a watch, because you can't have it all. Personally, good battery life, brightness, ability to store music and stream to earbuds without a phone and looks are what's important. So this is a perfect watch for me. I don't care about apps, gps is precise enough for running, it isn't robust, but I wouldn't wear a smart watch in situations where i could damage it anyways.

I thought at the start that these bezels are nothing too interesting. Glad I was wrong. They are a big deal.
@@TechMishka what can you really do with the bezel in this watch?
I read some negative comments that the bezel comes off easily if it rests on something like a bed mattress or something
Oh 🫤 I didn't face any issues with it. Could be that it wears off over time
Does it has a triathlon mode?
Need answer please
Yellow watch and naruto shirt you so cool!
Haha, colors of life 😊
Good review! Thanks.
👍
I have the Xiaomi S3 Watch, and I really like it. Great battery life, bright display and the bezels are good too.
Fast charging is also great
Does it have Spotify in it so that we can play music?

This is shown in the video and also highlighted in the drawbacks list by the end of the video.
So there we go - someone does mention it! ☺️

Nice review!
Can you connect a chest heart rate monitor?
Unfortunately not
Awesome content keep it up as always brother
Thanks! Will do!

@@NewEliteOrder Warranty?
Oh 😔
Super glue 😅
Also can you lock the screen during an activity tracking?
Yeah, you can
does the e sim version have a much worse battery than the non e sim version
I am not aware of an eSIM version for this one
Does it support Triathlon Mode in the sports mode?
Haven't seen such one
Xiaomi S3 has an Esim version, available at a slightly higher price than no LTE enabled ones
Pretty awesome news!
Does it track activities like "Tactical" or "shooting"?
Nope
@@TechMishka do any xiaomi watches do that?
So basically it's a designed round variation of the redmi watch 4?
It is more similar to the older S-series

S3 can connect to earbuds and stores music. So to me the two are a world apart as I do t have to carry my phone when running.
I can't decide between Xiaomi watch s3 or Huawei watch fit 3.. can you help lol
Haha : 😹 Sit down and make a list with your top priorities and parse the watches through that list
@@TechMishka I ended up buying the Xiaomi Redmi watch 4 which is a big mistake ☹️ 🤣... for sale brand new
sadly software voice assitant cannot widget shortcut also limited to setup zz
🤯
It's a pity the bezels (original ones) cannot be found online!?!
No? Already sold out? That's a shame
Any news for new smart watch coming this year from Xiaomi?
Haven't heard of any. But there might be something in the autumn
Is original Watch Screen itself anti Scratch?
It is.

How much the internal storage of the music
I have to double check - should be about 2GB
@@TechMishka thanks its weird important information like that not in the official site

poor fitting design, the bezel fall off so easily, i lost mine 2nd day without knowing it fall off

Please give me tips
About the watch?
Can I use Google Maps on it?
You can't

Looks like a watch 5 Pro
Hmmm, because of the thick bezel?

Wach 2 or s3
2 is with WearOS, 3S uses modified RTOS - more basic, but great battery life
Will the watchfaces display Fahrenheit
Yes, you can configure the watch to show fahrenheit
Yes.
@@TechMishkathanks
Found out the hard way! It does not have Fahrenheit on the watchface, just the weather app. Bomber dude!!!
