    Thanks just got the iPhone 16 pro, and I was confused about all the different modes, your video and explanation really helped me! Some b-roll might make it interesting but nothing major. Good video thanks!

    Hi! Just wanna ask can you make comparison between ProRAW MAX & HEIF MAX photo quality when fully zoom? I found out some 16 pro user experience pixelated photo on ProRAW MAX compared to HEIF MAX…

    Very thorough review! I had my iphone 15 Pro max stolen last week. I have the 16 pro max ordered and you video was a great review of the best settings. THX so much for putting this together.

    Subscribed!! Very helpful. Your recommendations make a lot of sense. Quick question - is there a way to completely revert to the default settings in case I get in over my head?
    Cheers from Colorado

    If you choose JPEG most compatible - that’s the old school JEPG algorithm and the file will go through a process called pixel binning which will reduce file size and cost you detail at the pixel level. The only JPEG file type that will preserve all pixels is the new JPEG XL Lossless format.

    I upgraded from a 14 pro and I don’t like the 16 pro camera quality. Videos and photos are coming out grainy even on 1x zoom. Oddly, 5x gives best quality and actually shows the detail. Considering to return my phone but just confused how everyone online seems to love the phone and is getting great camera quality

    Thank you for the guide!
    question, following your guide, photo capture > photo mode is 24mp. When taking a photo, and then going to that photo in Photos, swiping up on the photo will present the photo details. Regardless of any setting I have tried the details are as follows, Fusion Camera 36 MP - 4536 x 8064. Of course we know by multiplying 4536x8064= 36,578,304 / 1,000,000 = 36MP.
    I NEVER get a photo that actually says 48 MP, nor is there a setting like on the iPhone 14 & 15 that specifically says 48 MP which should be 6048 x 8064. Am I missing something or is my new iPhone 16 Pro broke? or, is this a beta issue?
    Can you explain please?

    • @KylerSteele
      @KylerSteele  2 місяці тому

      @@jackwebb2425 I’ll check my photos data and see what they say! Only the normal and ultra wide have the 48mp so if it was taken with the telephoto lens it would be less than 48mp

      @@KylerSteele Thank you for checking. I did not take with telephoto lens. It was set to 1, as opposed to .5 or 2 etc.

    9:04 so why not just use "Most Compatible" and when you edit the photographic styles, just save it as a new image so you keep the original?
