The ability to self-reflect and look at your own behaviour is really valuable and not a skill that everyone has, glad you were able to do it regardless of picking skating up or not. Keep doin what you're doing man.
Skating has taught me a lot when it comes to life. Showing me that patience is key and that if you connect your mind and body you can do anything. I used to have a toxic mindset with skating and would be extremely insecure if I couldn’t land a trick or proving myself to people that I can skate but working on my inner self has showed me that I don’t need this external reassurance from others to help myself. What I needed was self love. And this has helped me grown in not only myself but skating lol. Skating has showed me so much in life and we’re all proud of you George for your spiritual journey and your love again for skateboarding
I know it's kind of weird to feel this way about a person on UA-cam from a different part of the world but i am genuinely so excited for you to be feeling the skate bug again. I discovered your channel in a difficult time of my life and it made me pick up my board again which in turn helped deal with certain things. To this day i try to go skate on a regular basis and while I'm not progressing much i am happy about every little accomplishment, even if it's just a nice basic trick or the first step to leaning a new one. Embracing those little victories is something I've learned from watching you and it made me enjoy skateboarding even more. So thanks for that and I'm really happy to see you skating again!
Glad your back man. Your channel was a big reason of why I started skating in my mid 30’s and it has completely taken over my life. Randomly stumbled upon your channel and saw that you used to skate at Middlefield skatepark which is like 10 min from my house. So cool to see your progress and then was bummed when you stopped skating. But you gotta do what feels right man for yourself!! 🤘
Great stuff! You never fell out of love with skateboarding. Sometimes, when we’re so consumed by something, we just need a break from it to reset our minds. You’ll always love skateboarding. Now, you just realize it doesn’t have to be the only part of you and you’ll probably do it less and enjoy it more. Love your content!
Love to hear this my friend. When you take away all the pressure of skateboarding in the “public” eye and skate for yourself and not take it so seriously skating becomes so much fun. At 34 I’m having more fun skating curbs and skating for fun when I feel like it. The love for skateboarding will never truly fizzle out because skateboarding has been there for me when so many other things weren’t.
Never stop! Get all kinds of boards ride all kinds of styles, be street one night to downhill the next , cause so far all my skateboard breaks have led to regrets
Good to see you back on it again, my G. Your videos were part of the reason I started skating again after a 20 year hiatus back in 2020. It’s like, all is right in the world again. Lol. Good stuff, homie.
Happy you rediscovered the joy. How is the foot doing btw? I broke the same bone in my foot and I’ve been sidelined for about 4 weeks now. You seem to be skating full force
Skate when you’re inspired let skating inspire other aspects of your life. Use skating as a catalyst to explore your world and meet new people. Skateboarding rules but don’t let it rule you!
I wrote in comments on video 8 months ago that skateboarding and Buddhist way actually go quite well together. Maybe I wrote it from my other account but you disabled the comments anyway. I feel sorry for your mental crisis but I'm glad you are skateboarding again (although your style and helmet are hilarious x)) .
So weird UA-cam has almost been trying to get me to forget about you, I have to search for you every time , no where to be seen in the home page or subs page
Ok he is so back 😤
Missed you skateboard dad 🥹

I tried to break up with skateboarding in my early 20’s…now I’m in my mid 40’s and still at it. It NEVER goes away ❤

Foot is great, 100% recovery - it’s been 2 years now, and it feels like a thing of the past. Best of luck on your recovery!

Bros got that lunch lady swag
You guys seemed nice about it, but that mom was insane to have her kid playing in the skate park like that. Begging for him to get hurt.
