That 3.1 to 3.3 inch blade length range is such a terrible size, in my opinion. If the blade:handle ratio is good, then the handle is too small for average sized hands, and if the handle is made big enough for average hand size then why not just go with 3.5" instead of ending up with a goofy cable splicer looking knife (looking directly at you, AD20.5). Having said all that, I did just get a Spyderco Domino that ive really been enjoying, but Spyderco is always performing some ergonomic miracles so im not too surprised. Ive tried to like a few different SBDs, but the designs just aren't for me. Purely a preference thing.
I absolutely agree with you in every way. It’s just a bad size, either the handle is too small or the handle to blade ratio is way off. The only way to get away with that is having great ergonomics.
