German here: I met them yesterday at breakfast in an hotel in Regensburg, was some kind of starstruck, but they took that feeling away immidiately. Very kind and very open minded gentlemen, laid back with that fine dry type of british humor that I miss in the public european political and social culture since the UK left the EU. They were on the way to their next concert in Vienna, showed me a video of their last concert. I'm in the same age and could feel their ripened young heart, they made my (and my wives) day. Thanks to UA-cam's algorithms which brought to them!

These Northern Europeans mastered oral poetry for eons. So cool to live in 2024, everything coming together with the echoes of so many cultures from around the world. One love

I’ve been listening to Pete and Bas when people wouldn’t think they would amount to nothing. I knew these dudes was hot their first song day one love it.
So I really like what this channel does with music like this. It tells people to stop thinking that a person has to look a certain way (young, black, male, american, etc.) in order to have a good sound or good tunes. I was a white, female horn player and the U.S. was hard when I lived and played there because I was always brushed aside and/or given side eye in jazz or r&b clubs because of my colour and gender. Even though I could play my as* off. With this video, dude shows that agism, racism, and misogyny have no place in music. And very little baring on abilities and musical outcomes.

I’m from Cali and everybody I talk to about Hip Hop know about these dudes. They are real authentic old school gangsters from their zone. And they keep a lot of younger rappers on threat mode out there. They talk real slick and what’s crazy is they been about that life for a really long time.

So I really like what this channel does with music like this. It tells people to stop thinking that a person has to look a certain way (young, black, male, american, etc.) in order to have a good sound or good tunes. I was a white, female horn player and the U.S. was hard when I lived and played there because I was always brushed aside and/or given side eye in jazz or r&b clubs because of my colour and gender. Even though I could play my as* off. With this video, dude shows that agism, racism, and misogyny have no place in music. And very little baring on abilities and musical outcomes.
