I only ever played this on the Super Nintendo, but I couldn’t agree more. It totally changed the way I viewed storytelling and video games. It’s such a phenomenal piece of interactive history. I hope it continues to enthrall new gamers for a long time!
Delphine were incredible, I had this on the Amiga and Flashback on the SNES! Hard games but so rewarding. I think they did Cruise For a Corpse too, loved that also.
This one is a stone cold classic, despite its shortcomings. And all it needed was an A500 with 512k memory. It's also only 1.5MB in size and comes on just two 3.5" floppy disks! Theres also a hidden death sequence. If you stand still for 1 minute after picking up your gun when you break out of the cage, a little flying robot will come and zap you! 😂
How did you improve the sound timing so much comparing it to your 50 fps video 7 years ago?!? The "20 second countdown" ping sound starts and ends where it should! I remember it and always notice it being off in other videos. Which settings did you use or improve?!? I cant get my hands at any hardware so please share your config/setup. Such a great effort and work! ❤ Seems many vector based intros have timing issues (flashback - you never hear the "flying bike" getting shot down or it already is on the ground - and then you hear the blast sound). Maybe flashback could also be improved? Hope you see this and thanks once again for your hard work! ❤
It got a remaster on PC back in 2006 with some new audio and backgrounds. All new versions released since then are based on it. A modern remake on the other hand, now THAT would be interesting to see!

well that was also one game for itself, a gem.
thank you for putting it back into my memories!
Incredible game! Great storytelling, and plenty of re-play value. One of my personal favourite Amiga titles.
One detail I've never noticed before: The way Lester's hair absolutely frizzes out when he's in the charging chamber recharging his weapon.

Delphine released Cruise For A Corpse the same year as Another World, a few months before.

If you stand still in front of the water, a tentacle beast grabs you from below the surface and pulls you down
Also if you don’t swim up after teleporting into the water the transported equipment pulls you down too.. there’s so many
The amount of innovation in this game is hard to overstate
New viewers probably don’t know this ran on a 7MHz MC68000 CPU with 512KB of RAM
Awesome game, thanks dude.
That intro ❤❤❤
The market was crowded with fantastic new Amiga releases before Christmas 1991. But this one kind of stole the show.
Instant classic.
This is most likely too far fetched, but it surely reminds me of theme in Half Life 1 and visiting the Xen, where aliens had enslaved each other.

@@gamingcrazy7013 There was also the 20th Anniversary Edition released in 2013. I'm not sure if it's the same as the 15th Anniversary from 2006.
They already did it! It’s vector based graphics so you can upscale to infinity
