How to remove dispenser drawer on Indesit Washing Machine.
In this short video I will show you the Hotpoint Aquarius washing machine dispensing drawer removal and refit. This should also be the same for the Indesit washing machine dispensing drawer removal.
The most common reason to do this is so that you can give the Hotpoint Washing machine Detergent Drawer (Indesit Washing machine Detergent Drawer) a really good clean as they can get full of gunge from washing powder and conditioner residue.
You can then also clean the inside of the Hotpoint Washing machine dispensing drawer area.
The Hotpoint Aquarius washing machine dispensing drawer (Indesit washing machine dispensing drawer) will get dirty over time so it's good to remove it and give it a good clean.

it's been a constant annoyance to me that I was not able to remove the tray, "why would they design it like that?" I thought, they didn't!! Thanks ever so much for this video.

Me too, I saw it was attached to that metal rod somehow, and thought it was fixed not realising it slid out.

Omg thank you so much. Had mine 6 yrs and tried several times so have had to be creatuve with baking soda and vinegar and using a syring to take the water . Just managed to remove and do a whole deep clean . I feel great thank you so much

Hi Thanks for the Video, Do you happen to know where can I find the metal rod to which the clip connects? My washer machine metal rod is completely rusted and I need to replace it.
No idea. If it’s still stable and solid then maybe just some rust Killer paint like Kurust, that would save removing it. Just put it on with a small brush

Great thank you, my fabric softener wasn’t draining from it, but even after removal of the tray and cleaning it can’t figure out how on Earth it gets drained in the first place ?
It gets flushed through with water. Check the dispenser area roof holes to make sure it's clean and not blocked. Fabric conditioner is thick, you could try watering it down first.

Hi, i wonder you know. My washing machine tray’s softer part (the blue one in your video) is missing, so always has water trapped there. I wonder you know I can buy a new tray or just a new cap? Many thanks.
I believe the blue part is just to help as a measuring guide so you don’t actually need it. You will always get some water in there where it flushes through the softener. This is normal. You probably can get a replacement blue part.

i never cleaned mine. it looks fairly clean most of the time. and all that hard work. lol. another cup of tea. i never asked. which tea do you drink? tetley?, pg tips? Yorkshire? super market brand tea? well these are the ones i am familiar with.
I should get a Tea sponsor! I drink Clipper Everyday Organic Tea (unbleached bags) as incredibly a lot of the tea bags are bleached white and contain plastics, quite terrifying really.

Oh dear not good news. Maybe try a vacuum cleaner nozzle to suck it out? You really need to get it out, only other way would be to turn machine upside down but that would be very hard and you’d have to disconnect it all and drain it. I hope you can get it out.
@@LurgsHowToGuides thanks for the advise. Tried the vacuumcleaner, but dont have a good seal. Now I’ll need to follow a video on disconnecting and reconnecting . Such a mess I created.
@@Mommydearest-ef5li maybe try stuffing an old sock or something round the vacuum nozzle to help with suction down that hole
Maybe try a flexible hose down that hole and attach vacuum nozzle to the hose with some tape
