Card Review | Hearthstone | Perils in Paradise Card Review #7 - Ігри
That drink card is gonna get used in every Sif deck until it rotates.
That drink is going to used in spell power Druid till it rotates. It’s 3 one cost hit twice damage spells.
@@user-dy6dv5dr5lit’s not hit twice is it? Like the spell damage isn’t double like in the druid spell «deal 1 damge twice »
No, is like arcane missiles. With spell damage you deal just one more random 1 damage ping
@@alvarolopez8514If that's the case, it's +3 damage for each spell damage because it is 3 spells in one. Still awesome.
Tiding Pools will definitely be in every Sif deck until rotation because discounting a spell for 3 is just broken with any burn deck.
Mage looks insane this expansion. Those cards are gonna be really good in Druid as well.
Owlonius + Concierge (the neutral 3/3/4 that reduces cards from another class by 1) + Go with the Flow + Seabreeze Chalice will be a nice combo
You really dont need the Owl, just getting one extra Seabreeze is enough to otk on like turn 3 or 4 with 36-45 dmg
Don't forget that Druid got a Spell Damage theme in the last set, so some of these damage spells could play real nice for them
Chalice is kinda busted with even a little bit of spell damage. +1 = 3 mana for 9 damage, +2 = 12, etc..
Also 3x mana reduced so elemental companion can make it a 0mana card or 2x it's damage, also it's a decent ice trap/counterspell check
that "smells" flub was pretty funny lol
I'm kind of terrified of owlonius druid with go with flow and the new drink...
A small thing about Marooned Archmage, it can get pulled with Spot the Difference in No Minion Mage. Doesn't change a whole lot, but as someone that plays that deck frequently it's a better pull than average
Better than average but it would need to survive until your next turn to give you value, cause Spot The Difference was the first spell you cast
@@thiagocerqueira9473 I know, which is why I said it wouldn't change much
Raylla kinda reminds me of Messenger Crow from Witchwood. Every time you cast a spell, it summoned a minion as well
I miss that one so much!
Maybe she's the Mage who has that Crow as a familiar xD
I can't wait to see the inevitable Marooned Archmage + Coin clips on Trolden, those are always hilarious
im thinking of playing heartstone, never played it before, is it worth trying in 2024? or is it outdated? i started put more interest in card games after i played marvel snap, if you know that game😅
Looking at the synergies vs tourist cards, it will be very funny if the new class cards all work best in tourist decks
Remember the Watercolour Artist card from Whizzbang? Could make a combo with Tsunami and Surfalopod more reliable.
Under the Sea reminds me of Spiteful Summoner. Pre-nerf Summoner was a 6 mana 4/4 with that effect stapled on and it was insanely good. It was still decent at 7 mana. Maybe Under the Sea will still be good while missing the 4/4 body
Doomsayer is coming
What i like about Rayla + Chalice is that youre only assembling 2 cards for 3 triggers, 3 2 drops and 6 damage. On 7 maybe thats not good, but I like the play pattern and synergy.
Thank you for keeping in that little misspeak made me chuckle
At the very least the mage drink is like if the old cinderstorm was 6 damage instead of 5, and scaled triple with spell damage. I think it really has potential in some spell damage deck
These drink cards are going to BOOST questline mage like nothing else. The paladin card will definitely be a holy school, but just one 1-cost card that single handedly completes the frost spells or pays off after is going to be nutty.
The drinks are just twinspell right?
Nice art on rising wave, the important stuff in the middle
TSUNAMI summons Tsuyu Asui from my hero acedamia. Also the art for the water elemental is meh. The original one is better.
Chalice seems great with spell damage. 1 chia drake in hand and it's deal 12 to opponent for example
Will legendary tourist cards like Raylia be global effects or only while on board effects?
Only while on board effects
Doomsayer is still in standard.
Boy oh boy I can't wait to get a board full of 0/7s
Shouldn’t Rising Waves be a Nature spell?
Surfalopod being a beast makes me think there's more synergy coming with beast druid
Seabreeze Chalice has +6 damage per spell damage. So if you have +2 spell damage, this spell could deal 18 damage to the face if the board is empty. Times 2 copies is an OTK.
Spell damage doesn't increase the per bolt damage of missile spells, it increases the number of bolts. We have tons of precedence for this. It'll be +3 per spell damage, 12 total damage with +2.
The tourist cards are gonna be kind of wacky in a way. Fighting one class that has cards from another. Not multiclass cards either, and not a burgle deck
interesting how Go with the Flow doesn't have a spell school. not Frost? not Nature?
since it’s not a magical spell being cast, just a physical action like many Warrior spells (e.g. Brawl)
Can you use the tourist cards of the toured class in your deck? So for instance Sunsapper Lynessa. Can she be put into a mage deck? If so, that could be insanely strong next to Sif. Fun thought at least.

@@vladimirvladimirovich3036 oh, I missed that. Ty
Does ‘cast when drawn’ mean the spell will cast but then another card is drawn as well??
Yes!
Yes
Yes, that’s part of the Cast When Drawn “keyword”
i feel like raylla into coin into chalice on turn 4 is gonna be a pretty common sight
I felt really underwhelmed about mage until we got to the big spell package. I'm not sure it will be great, but I'm going to play it for sure
Seabreeze chalice + a buffed up Sif can pump out a lot of damage, perhaps it can see some play in rainbow mage?
Too unreliable unless your opponent’s board is completely and utterly empty.
The druid doesn't seem to have much synergy with the big spells
Rising waves is exactly the same as Bladestorm .This is what we have been seeing for several years now they just rehash old cards but rename them or restat them.Tsunami is not very good because it is like a survival card similar to Blizzard but worse because although the Eles hit for one more than Blizzard it costs two more but with only 3 Eles it won't handle a board with 4 or more minions. Those 3/6 if looking to survive will likely see 2 or 3 dying making it just an 8 cost Blizzard spell at 8 it is way too costly.
However as a Druid card I assume it is also a Druid card it could be viable as Druid likes to keep it's Swipe for face dmg.
I don't get why your rating Tide pools so high it is yet anotehr rehash card as Druid already has/had the spell discover a minion or spell for 1 and that is what this location does for 3 so it is 3 of that same card rolled into 1 but limited to a spell. It might be playable I wouldn't rate it more than a 2 definitely not a 4. remember it is also a do nothing turn card and Druid woudl rather play a spell dmg location to use that card draw so sticking 2 more locations and having to remove 2 other cards to make room does not seem viable at all.
I think I would much prefer raylla if she summoned just silver hand recruits. Maybe a 2/2 recruit, or a recruit with divine shield and taunt. I just think we are reaching a point where “summon a random minion” effects are becoming a bit to common and have a bit to much variance for my liking.
I'm not sure Rayla is going to be the best, just because no minion mage is the way to play mage atm. I'm not sure a random board of 2 drops is worth losing the no minion cards.
I think that Seabreeze Chalice is very strong.
What’s king tide star rating?
He gave it 5 stars in his last video.
@@Decayed-Soul gotcha, I missed that I had missed a video
You play volleyball on the beach hence the sunscreen? That is my guess
Ayo... anyone else see that one goblin?
4 mana summon Doomsayer .-. mhm
drink is so op
under the sea is a 2 star card IMO
The rating of that archmage card really has me scratching my head if he really is playing this game enough. I know he has specifically said he has played a lot and even hit legend, but saying that card is not good enough genuinely had me have a spittake. I mean it’s a MUST kill minion that gives immediate value as well. Those kind of minions THRIVE. Everyone gets reviews wrong and I’m glad he’s sticking with his own opinions but this take seems quite off the cuff. I’m willing to bet this minion will see significant play and have complete faith it will become similar to that of goldpanner as a must kill minion early on. Mark my words. Please don’t take this as anything but constructive, everyone is wrong in reviews at some point. I though anubrikhan (armor one) was unplayable lol
The issue is a 3/3 body isn’t particularly troublesome to take care of. Your opponent can almost definitely kill it for an equal or positive mana trade, and the immediate benefit you’re getting is spending 3 mana to get a 2 mana discount.
@@MinoriGaming and yet tótem and gold panner are still played. I would happily play a 3/3 with discover a spell that costs 2 less or infintzed the maxitude, heat wave, star gazing, cryopreszervstion with the threat of more value later on. If it get that much value AND force my opponent to spend resources to deal with it, that’s an insane card. Sorry your argument just doesn’t hold a candle to that strength
If that mage deck gets big, plague dk will be a good counter. 6 mana draw a plague and summon a random 1 cost sounds great!
Under the Sea isn’t gonna see play anyways. 6 mana draw 1 is just terrible, and the pool of 8, 9, and 10 drops aren’t good enough to compensate. Too much low roll potential
Drink card 2 stars? It will get nerfed thanks to spell power Druid
Maybe if it said "deal 1 damage to a random enemy, twice"
Tsunami sucks. Garbage.
