Make sure you paint all those metal edges you cut on the rear or they will rust. You also need to seal that gap between those two sheets of metal. Don’t half-ass stuff. Do it right the first time

He’s the king of doing stuff ass backwards. This video is case in point. I really used to enjoy his videos and about 4-5 months ago I think he kinda exposed himself and now the only reason I’m here to laugh and shake my head.
Ethan Brandt how do you know he didnt seal it off camera though? He doesnt have to document every little thing. Sealing stuff doesnt get views, the finished product does.

Do they get a lot of rust in Texas? I know here in Boston we get that shit in heaps but... I'd probably zip that gap up and at least shoot it with some primer..

NYCEONE: Every time he washes that car or it rains, the water will get between the kit and panels and find its way to those untreated holes he just drilled with a wood drill bit. It will also get to the rear quarter that he cut and didn't weld up and create some lovely rust there as well. I feel sorry for the next owner he knowingly sells this rusty heap of shit to. I highly doubt he will be sweet with someone taking the kit off before the point of sale to make sure some hack, kid didn't do a half ass job in his garage... oh... shit.... errr... wait!!!
You say you're a perfectionist yet you leave your car In a terrible state. Also looks like that's a drill bit for wood and you really should treat those freshly drilled holes with something.
You know you have to close the gap in the stock fender layers, that's how you rust out stuff
Running the drill backwards? Maybe that's why holes were cleaner. Kinda bothers me that you didn't wipe off the dust before re-installing the kit

Using a wood bit on medal, no rust protection on those holes besides the point just ruined a great Evo. I'm crying inside.
I died inside when he took the rear quarter wide body off and saw how hacked up the panel underneath is and like others said nothing rust-proofed. Yikes!

Evann your Evo is beastt. It really does look a lottt better with that little change of not having the bolts sticking out on the bodykit. Gives your Evo a more flush and oem look. Like it was meant to be that wide. :)
The only thing is, the Evo looks tacky with that rear diffuser and no wing. So I'm really looking forward to seeing you complete that whole look with having the big wing. Will compliment the car very nice I think.

That's because the bit he bought has a self starting tip and you don't need to pre-drill.

May have took slightly longer, but you could’ve step drilled it and it wouldn’t have messed with the dip as much. Use the small one and move up in size.

you should do a lil bit of work on where you made those cuts so they dont rust. Weld them together or at very least paint the edges

Just an FYI: Putting the camera in the fridge could cause condensate to form on its internals causing them to short and ultimately ruining your camera.
