Huge thanks for the shout out. We used to watch RAD all the time! That Prom Scene though! lol. All 3 of these rigs are amazing and the brushless system is on point!
Oh yeah the Prom Scene... Almost forgot about that... As far as the rigs go.... They ALL are amazing and the FURITEK brushless systems are RAD.
The Shop is absolutely unrivaled in modding technique and explanation. Hands down.

Remotes are directly linked in some way to the receiver. R/C stand for Radio Control as there is a transmitter and receiver that talk to each other wirelessly.
You promised no loud music then two seconds later, loud music blares out of my speakers...HA. Seriously, I had to turn it down, that was annoying.
We just meant when we were talking. Crank it UP! J/K however we do like our music loud! We are still learning how to normalize our audio better. We switched editing software not too long ago, and we are still learning the nuances about it. Thanks for watching friend, even if our audio is not perfect.... yet...

Good review 👍🏻 Have the Katana and the EVO Pro,m. Both are great and I also like the look of the Katana a lot. But both suffer of a hug amount of torque twist. Hope, Hobby Plus will re-design the drive train and axles in the future.
THANK YOU for the kind words, and thank you for watching our channel! We appreciate it! Ours didn't seam to be too bad in the torque twist department, but we also were running the half filled oil shocks. We haven't refilled them from how they came from the factory.

I'm fairly new to your channel. I repositioned my shocks on the katana all thway in and found my driveshaft would fall apart. I replaced the outer part of shaft with a trxm front shaft and it fit better without coming apart. Also I'm running 1.3 injora rims and injora cling on tires. They're awesome. The only thing I don't like is how tight the space is with the receiver and the esc. I had to take them out to reposition my rear shocks. But other than that, this is one of my favorite crawlers. But they need to come out with aftermarket accessories.

A comparison between the Ascent18 and the Fury Wagon would be a great video i think, as I've heard that their both great starter rigs. (I know iknow, price difference, maybe equalize it with some upgrades on the Asc18 to bring it to the same price point?).

great review! ive been tossing up between the Katana and the evo pro, i think im leaning toward the evo pro becuase of the lower CG.
They are both amazing rigs. The only difference besides the chassis design is the EVO Pro has the two speed transmission. It’s not necessary for crawling, but sure is fun!

I haven't found any difference in performance between my CR18P Evo Pro & my FX118 Fury Wagon besides my CR18P Evo Pro rolls over more than my FX118 Fury Wagon does.
Well that’s interesting. We had the opposite experience. The only time that the EVO PRO rolls over is when we are in high speed gear and driving it like we stole it! 🤣 They both perform very well on the rocks!

That is the only place we have been able to find the brushless version of the EVO PRO. The Brushed version can be ordered from DirectRC.com
need to create a set of gates with a real comp rig then test these to see how they actually perform. a lot is going to be driver, but how the rigs transfer weight, sidewall, ascend and descend, etc, that can't really be seen thru the tests you put them thru

When you get free product you lose any objectivity. Stuff it not expensive so I don’t get why they don’t just buy them
We admit Furitek sent us the Katana while we purchased the HobbyPlus EVO Pro on our own. We wanted to do this to add value. We had gotten a lot of questions from our audience about which one they should purchase, so we wanted to do a subjective video or at least as subjective as we could given the situation!
