I also did this race last December 2021 - my first official Ultra. Keep up the great work! I thoroughly enjoyed reliving this 'gorge-ous' event through your well done vlog style video & narration!
Cool race, gorgeous view indeed from up there! Nice supporters in the aid station. Very nice video, dear friend! Fully watched with great appreciation, mate!
So excited to see this video overview, we are headed out in the am for this race. This will be my second 50k and a big change in elevation fro here in West Michigan!
Thank you! It was great meeting you and your family. I also want to thank you for running with me for a bit. I was in a real low spot and that helped me come out of it. I think I even said that I may never run an ultra again. Haha. I'm already trying to figure out which one to do next!
@@donaldsauter6445 My pleasure! And that's not surprising at all. The same thoughts go through my mind in almost every race. Red Top may have been an exception, but Cloudland was not. I think the same thing when it gets tough. But obviously you worked through it and gutted it out - and with a great time too! Let me know what you decide to do next!
DANG those steps looked brutal! My legs hurt just watching! 🤣 Well done on this race! Crushed it, man! Honestly, inspiring! And thanks for taking us along!
That’s awesome!! Congratulations! That’s very exciting. Since you said, your first official, I take it you’ve done the distance on your own? A race should be no problem for you then! (Not that it’ll be easy of course, but you should be able to go in with a lot of confidence, which can make a big difference). And thank you for your kind words! I appreciate it!
Thanks, but it was no 50/50! You're the man! The only thing I'm signed up for is Quest for the Crest in May. And I'm thinking about Double Top in April. What's next for you? Are you doing Elsie Enduro again?
All the stairs! At least 600 by the looks of it! Such a gorgeous video, ha ha! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you! So glad we both got to experience it! Great memories!

Great video. The trails are very different from what we have here, Would love to try them 😀
Thank you! Yes, they are! But I’d love to try yours too! They’re all special and wonderful in their own way.

Well done on this race! Crushed it, man! Honestly, inspiring! And thanks for taking us along!
Thank you for coming along for the journey! Thankfully I knew about the steps and trained accordingly. I was ready, but it still wasn't easy.
Keep it up. Love your videos. I just signed up for my first official 50k , Yamacraw 50k 2022. Oh keep the advice videos/shorts going, I dig them all

What a great looking trail. Where is it located?
Cloudland Canyon State Park in far northwest Georgia. Not far from Chattanooga, TN.
Great job at Cloudland! Good to see you there again! What events do you have coming up?

@@RunDaddyOThank you. I didn't know what to expect that weekend. I'm doing Elsie in 2 weeks. Looking forward to it
