I use to live in Glen Burnie. My father worked in the fuel oil business for many years in Marland. The amount of pollution I seen in the waters, everywhere, was just heartbreaking. I know you’ve said they have cleaned it up a lot. However looking at all that tackle and plastic etc from just one “1” day, not good!!
Just recently found the channel man, love the content. If I lived closer to MD or I’d be buyin some crabs every week. VA here and the crabs have been good so far. Oh, and congrats on 100k!!!!
You can tell the females by the lipstick on their claws... the females have the red claws on blue crabs.... dont have to flip them to look at the apron that way, lol

Keep at it man…… In Queensland Australia where I am, you’re now allowed to take the Jenny’s (female crabs) no matter what size or species of crab they are. We do have size limits on sand crabs (kinda like what you catch) and mud crabs (110% beast mode 100% of the time)

From Florida - Hi Luke! Hey, question about the controls on your helm. Looks like on the right you have a two levers. I presume on is throttle and the other is Forward/reverse. What is the lever to the far left (longer than the standard throttle control. PTO for the wench?
That is the steering! It is attached to a cross valve that’s attached to a steering ram. So I can maneuver without wearing my arm out on a steering wheel. But mostly we just feel cooler driving with a stick 😆

So why don’t you invest in a sonar unit that will pick up the crab on the bottom. I know they make them and I’m sure they wouldn’t be cheap but, wouldn’t it be worth the investment? Maybe use the mfg as a sponsor?
Your industry needs a crab hatchery to repopulate the species. It was accomplished with the Dungeness Crab species in the Pacific. Bodega Bay Marine Research Lab.

Find new spots if they don't bite move around cause 900 traps an u didn't fill up your boat need to move around my boy ....where I stay with 100 traps I would fill up the boat

When I was young I would collect golf balls and sell them to golfers, tel the golf club would chase us off,they would collect and sell 4 time as much.
