Whats more impressive is how they filmed this episode. The back and forth. Ariel shots. You could write a great review on the ear pods you wear. They stayed in for sure during all that physical labour. Thanks for sharing your day with us.
You are a lucky man to have a mentor you can banter with like that. Great stuff. I'm 59 and love watching you two go back and forth. Cheers from a wanna be crabber from Pa.
That brings a smile to my face to see that. We used to do the same. No matter if we were crabbing, fishing gill nets, hoop nets, trot lines eel pots, duck hunting, deer hunting e.t.c. We always competed in friendly competitions. Those were the some of the best times of my life.
Luke, I am geeked up, energized by hearing about your story as a crabber. I’m a small one business Carpenter. It takes a long time when you do it all by yourself. We need helpers/ assistants. Especially in my work. Really encouraged by you. I have morning coffee watching your clips. Working hard: I bought a fishing license April 7, and I’ve been out twice, and here it’s almost the Fourth of July!! ( I want to start steaming bluegills or perch like a Door County fish Boil). It’s hard work, but once you hit that stride, things will start to make a profit. Keep up the good work 👍
I grew up on lower bay James river. My first job on the water tonging oysters till the Kepon poisined the river. You make us old farts proud God bless and happy Fourth to you and family.
Hawk to hawk, it seems CJ's run was shorter... just how it looks in video. Nice seeing you guys work together the way yall do. I'm used to waterman hating on everyone else that is on the water. You guys Rock and represent what Maryland waterman! 🤘🏼💪🏼😊
Reminds me of the Goode Ole Days when America’s great stories were all races between her vibrant workers. Railway Men, miners, lumberjacks, cowboys, and the Watermen certainly held their end up in the Great American Working Man’s story. THIS is the class of men America should be supporting to get her groove back.
Your channel is so fucking addicting. I don't know a god damn thing about crabs even though I've lived on the Alabama coast my entire life, but I can not stop watching this shit.
We need more vids like this . love seeing CJ in your vids you guys are awesome . Team Luke for the win 🏆. CJ ANIT NO CRABBER 🦀but I still got love for em 🤘☝️
Fastest is not always the bestest! Of course, crabbers are competitive. It’s all about the bragging rights! We’re on team LUKE all the way! They say old age and treachery beats youth and exuberance. Not so! Experience carries the day and you don’t need treachery to carry the day! Sneaky Pete he is!
I have to wonder if the crabs I get down here toward "Nawfuck" taste the same as those yankee Maryland crabs....could be something happens to them when they get further south.
Just wondering, what was the price tag on your new boat. I have been looking online for roughly the same type of boat and the price tags are pug fuggly!
Depends what you're looking for but boat prices are still pretty insane but they were going up before the pandemic. The that saying about the best day in a beaters life and the break out another thousand..... LOL I got 2!! Selling and buying something in between 30ft grady and 22ft mako
Ok, as a recreational fisherman, this is what I do. I go down to the dock with my crab pot, my cast net, anf and a 5 gallon bucket of ice water. Crabs, shrimp, it all goes in the bucket. Am i doing it wrong? Is there a better way to keep the crabby bois alive until they are ready for the big pot? I used to just throw them in a cooler or bucket with water and found they auto amputated when i put them in the pot. They dont amputate when they are dormant from the cold, makes a better presentation. Anyone got any tips? My grandfather used to own a pretty large fish farm, helping with harvest there as a kid gave me the ice water idea.
Put them in a cooler - put ice on the bottom and pull the plug on the cooler, put a towel over top of the ice so the crabs don’t sit right on the ice, and they should be good!
Md crabbers can be the biggest dicks on the water. There is such a sense of entitlement that they think they own the entire bay or tribs it can be quite entertaining. Luke is a different breed but many others just need to have their bell ring a few times. I know a commercial crabber that started carrying a shotty on board because of other boats being a holes.
Bro do you realize that not one of your links are clickable on your UA-cam about section. Except for the UA-cam channel one. I want to order some crabs from ya but you gotta help a brother out. That link is like a mile long, and I can’t even copy an paste it for some reason. I bet if ya fixed those links you’d pretty get more orders….
Damn this was a good channel, just mostly shorts now. The meat and potatoes of this channel are just replaces by fluff now. Just another sad failure to the followers.
Your not first generation, your picking up where you left off. not the first time youve been a crabber. they been knocking us down i knocked em and you all got back up.
Not sure what is more impressive....... Luke's crabbing or his ability to not have his ear-pod fall out and into the water!!!!!
Lost my first one a few days ago, sad day lol
I was just thinking this
You need to work on being assertive.
You're in charge of the earpods
Don't let them tell you what to do.
😂
Both

Damn, like a miniature deadliest catch show. (Not to compare to a network show) but very impressive filming! Love it.

I bought some of your steamed XL’s crabs from Jimmy’s seafood to be delivered for my parents 50th wedding anniversary in Jersey. I’m excited!
Awesome!! Happy anniversary to them!

watermen always have a good sense of humor and respectable competition i love it.

Pullin’ a hammie had me rolling! That was always the excuse for the second stringers in football when they weren’t performing.

Is it true that a lot of Maryland blue crab is imported from georgia
