I was so happy that they brought back the music from X2. I always considered it the "real" X-Men theme.
and now I think that it will officially be. Singer will be doing Apoc, and I am sure John will be back to score the film. I gotta tell you, I literally got chills when I heard the x2 theme fire up at the beginning of the movie. Damn near started to tear up a little bit.
As soon as I heard the X2 theme in opening, I was thinking "Oh God, this'll be awesome", with chills running down my spine. Then when I heard this playing in the ending and end credits, I was thinking "Whoo! X-Men! This movie was awesome!!"
I like Kamen's score for the first movie a lot.
i wish movies/franchises would not shy away from leitmotifs and epic style scores. MCU has generic action hero themes and is not epic. Wonder woman at least has one i suppose. but NOT the same classic style old school score like this. star wars at lease keeps the tradition.
newjourney7 Marvel's early 2000 films like X-Men and Rami/Maguire Spider Man had more memorable themes that reused the songs because they were that good. But the Captain America and Avengers themes recurring are in the MCU sequels because they have good rather then generic songs
that end was just....there are no words to describe how this movie ended, and with this music back in there again, seriously best feeling just like the old movies again
This ending is one big reward for Logan in his life.

This, along with the two he made, when he met his older self, have become the three most memorable quotes I've ever heard in a movie. They just tie so well to the real world, especially today, with how bleak everything seems, what with the terrorism, war, political corruption, crime, etc. It just goes to show you that no matter how set in stone the future seems, one can always step in and change its course.

This song is musical score was great for ending the film and played during the credits. Gosh X-Men Days of Future Past is overall the best X-Men movie. X-Men Apocalypse had a lot to live up to

It's SO nice having this theme in the movies again. It really was the best X-Men Theme as a whole.
That said, I think I like Magneto's theme in first class a bit more, but that's a stand alone character theme and not the theme for a full cast.

Bradley Green Well, I agree with you; FOX shouldn't give the X-Men back to Marvel. With the exception of Age of Ultron, I find all Marvel films to be poor and shallow with no substance. I prefer the X-Men films to all Marvel films.....but I still REALLY enjoyed AoU.
+aroundtheclock I respect your opinion but I felt like they could have done so much more. In the comics, Ultron was like a mechanical Armageddon in the comic that they used the name of. He was so much more powerful than how they portrayed him in the movie and it disappointed me that they seemed to waste him. Hopefully Civil War can give us that fantastic character conflict as they don't have to introduce anyone new besides Black Panther and Spiderman, who both seem to have relatively minor roles anyway. But for now, I'm looking forward to Deadpool and X-Men Apocalypse the most.

I really liked the ending to this movie and glad it ended the way it did. Even though Jean is back like Logan wanted, So is Scott, I thought that was a cool little twist to the movie, Glad they are all back though.

This and the 90s theme ARE THE X-Men themes. When you think x-men these two themes. It’d be really cool if marvel used both of them in an x-men. Have the 90s theme playing over the Marvel Studios logo and then have this x-men theme in some x-men assemble or maybe just a softer version where there chilling at the x-mansion and have become a family.

Me personally, only X1, X2 and DOFP are the only good X-men movies. I consider those 3 for myself a trilogy, even though I KNOW exactly, that there are 2 trilogys and 3 spin-offs so far.
First Class was an amazing movie...
That's exactly how I feel about this series. Ever since Singer take back the helm, I like to think of this movie as the actual continuation of X2, like non of the other films matters only First Class since it's related to DOTFP. Specially if you grow up with the original movies, and realize the series has gone too far off the road and completely miss out the style and serious tone of the first ones.
I think First Class and Days of Future Past were better than original trilogy

apparently First Class,DOFP and Apocalypse will be considered the 2nd trilogy in the franchise (First Class trilogy) I know its sort of weird but it will definitely be more solid than X1-X3. This time all 3 of the films will be fantastic.
