    Charles Xavier: Is this what becomes of us? Erik was right. Humanity does this to us.
    Professor X: Not if we show them a better path.
    Charles Xavier: You still believe?
    Professor X: Just because someone stumbles and loses their way , doesn't mean they're lost forever. Sometimes, we all need a little help.
    Charles Xavier: I'm not the man I was. I open my mind up and it almost overwhelms me.
    Professor X: You're afraid. And Cerebro knows it.
    Charles Xavier: All those voices... so much PAIN.
    Professor X: It's not their pain you're afraid of. It's yours, Charles. And as frightening as it can be, that pain will make you stronger. If you allow yourself to feel it, embrace it, .it will make you more powerful than you ever imagined. It's the greatest gift we have: to bear their pain without breaking. I didn't know James McAvoy was capable of such an amazing performance. I'm so glad he got that opportunity with this role. I don't think anyone else could have done such a beautiful job of portraying that feeling--being unable to get yourself back up because of all that's happened. Feeling like the weight of the world on your shoulders is finally crushing you completely, and then somehow finding the strength to get back up and bear it.

It nearly made me break a tear because I was going through some dark times of my own. It reflected on that. And when Logan came back to his own time and saw everyone he had lost, back. I'm almost 27 and I've always been a fan of x-men. The cartoon from the 90's, some comics but especially the movies. What I've learned from these movies over the years, especially this milestone of a movie, is one of the many good things that has made me the person I am today. Charles faith he has for hope for any living thing and future was so damn inspirational. The movie was so legendary to. The fight scenes, the character development, the plot, everything was perfect. This movie continues to give me hope for my own life

    I feel that it's these songs that should win the awards and be on the "Top 100 Billboard". Why does it feel that best songs are the ones that are most ignored? All of these songs used in soundtracks are simply forgotten by most people. This song is so much more astonishing than any of those played on the radio or considered "The Big Deal". This song deserves so much more credit than it receives.

  • @Torterra625
    @Torterra625 7 років тому +1

    Ya know... the time where this movie came out for me personally might have been why I think so fondly of it. Having gone through a kind of mental struggle (anxiety) that can paralyze a person under the right amount of circumstances, I really DID feel for Charles' struggle throughout this movie. All of the fear he had towards getting back into the chair and hearing all those voices again, facing his pain that he worked so hard to force down and bury, it pretty much cemented him as my FAVORITE X-Men character because this was their founder, their leader, at his lowest and most desperate point. But he, like me at that time, found the strength to keep going when everything seemed bleak, because he was shown a better path by the man he could still become. Those words he said "I'm not the man I once was" and "So much pain," those resonated with me, because I TOO went through virtually the same feeling, and even now STILL go through that. But hope... hope truly IS the greatest power humanity has. That film gave off an aura of hope, optimism and possibility for the future of the X-Men..... it's just too bad Apocalypse took that prospect into a full on nose-dive, but at the time, it gave me hope. And those same final words of the film still ring with truth "The future is *never* truly set."

      +GenAries11 Personally I still think the entire middle piece of this music that's missing in the actual film, should've been used during that scene logan show's xavier flashbacks of jean through the first 3 x men films up to the point he had to stab her, only this time showing the main dilemma's each character faced in those first 3 movies. More scenes of the Jean, Logan, Cyclop relationship duo, as well as evil mystique and Kitty and ice man's original story and why mystique hates humanity, THEN it would've helped those who've only watched First Class before Days of future past, make better since of what's going on with the future versions of those characters. It would've got the message across better revealing that it's all about trying to undo all the character's wrong choices and mistakes they made in the past and change their course of thinking.

    Words can't describe how much I loved this movie. It's a shame the X-Men franchise never had any real continuity. And it certainly deserved a better send off than Dark Phoenix.

    All X-Men films have great sondtruk and theme song especially The Last Stand, First classe, days of future past, and Dark Phoenix.
