awesome quote

John Barron nice quote bro
"It’s not their pain you’re afraid of, it’s yours. And as frightening as it can be, their pain will make you stronger if you allow yourself to feel it. Embrace it. It will make you more powerful than you ever imagined. It’s the greatest gift we have that can bear pain without breaking, and it’s born from the most human power: HOPE.
Please Charles, we need you to hope again."
Thank you for remembering this word for word. Beautifully written by Simon and amazingly delivered by Patrick.
a powerful line coming from xmen!!! XMEN DAYS OF THE FUTURE PAST is really amazing!
I drop a tear in that part and also now reading it :') it's so touching
I cried big giant man tears during this scene. It personally have me hope for my own future

That moment when you wake up and everyone you've lost is alive again.
toddsmitts That hit me right in the heart...Thank you :')
after a terrible reality
That feeling when everything goes to shit anway in the next few years.
and that moment when you lose them all once again...
and then 'Logan' happened :(
Charles Xavier: Is this what becomes of us? Erik was right. Humanity does this to us.
Professor X: Not if we show them a better path.
Charles Xavier: You still believe?
Professor X: Just because someone stumbles and loses their way , doesn't mean they're lost forever. Sometimes, we all need a little help.
Charles Xavier: I'm not the man I was. I open my mind up and it almost overwhelms me.
Professor X: You're afraid. And Cerebro knows it.
Charles Xavier: All those voices... so much PAIN.
Professor X: It's not their pain you're afraid of. It's yours, Charles. And as frightening as it can be, that pain will make you stronger. If you allow yourself to feel it, embrace it, .it will make you more powerful than you ever imagined. It's the greatest gift we have: to bear their pain without breaking. And it comes from the most human part of us: hope. Charles, we need you to hope again.

When Logan wakes up and saw everyone back in school and this music played,..... I failed to hold back tears!
especially when he sees Jean
Entire XMen saga should have ended there, a perfect ending
it was like the ending of inception ! loved it
And now it would be real ending but actually no
this is the best x men movie i ever seen
You know it, best one by far in my opinion. Got so many Terminator vibes when I first saw it as well
True also don’t forget X2
The best hero movie ever, include Endgame
It's the same after Logan?
I agree! I like X-men Days of Future Past.
"Please. We need you to hope again."
"We need you to hope again"
Everyone needs to hear those words at least one time in their lives
From Professor Xavier, at least.

One of the most underrated movies in Marvel universe 😭
yes!!! and it's one of my favourites 😭
This is not underrated. It is the best in franchise and highest grosser.

This movie is almost 10 years old and not a single movie from Marvel phase 4 comes close to this masterpiece. Days of Future past "felt" like an actual Marvel movie, you can feel the emotion and passion that was put into this film..
Besides Captain america winter soldier no mcu film can be compare to this
X-men good movies actually felt like films. The closest Marvel got to that was the first iron man and winter soldier.
@@topknot01Guardians 1 and Infinity War are up there too. But then you’ve got “product” films like Love and Thunder and Guardians 2
X-Men Days of the future past was truly a masterpiece

"You built these weapons to destroy us,why? Because you're afraid. Humanity always been afraid what they don't understand. I'm here to tell you, to tell the world, you're right to fear us. We will be the ones who will inherit the earth."-magneto
"just because someone stumbles, loses their way, doesn't mean they are lost forever"
+TheGodfather101 "...your best is enough, trust me..."
I DON'T WANT YOUR FUTURE
Look past my future. Look for your future.
"...so...much.........pain!" - McAvoy delivered that line exquisitely.
"I don't want your suffering. I don't want your future."
"Please. We need you to hope again."
I didn't know James McAvoy was capable of such an amazing performance. I'm so glad he got that opportunity with this role. I don't think anyone else could have done such a beautiful job of portraying that feeling--being unable to get yourself back up because of all that's happened. Feeling like the weight of the world on your shoulders is finally crushing you completely, and then somehow finding the strength to get back up and bear it.
When younger Charles saw Wolverines past and his suffering, he showed allot of emotion and felt really bad for Logan. James McAvoy is a great actor when he wants to be. :)
Rylan Donecker "FEWTCHAAAAA"
I'm almost 27 and I've always been a fan of x-men. The cartoon from the 90's, some comics but especially the movies. What I've learned from these movies over the years, especially this milestone of a movie, is one of the many good things that has made me the person I am today. Charles faith he has for hope for any living thing and future was so damn inspirational. The movie was so legendary to. The fight scenes, the character development, the plot, everything was perfect. This movie continues to give me hope for my own life
that's good to hear (it really is). i grew up with x-men movies and spider-man movies since i was born late 90's. i admired them. the way i speak came from wolverine. i live in australia but some people think i'm american. i loved how wolvie speaked. i admire charles for his values just like how i admire spider-man for his values. captain america has had somewhat of a role as the 3 guys i mentioned before but only since like 2009 since i got into marvel comics a lot around then. these 4 are big influences on my life and my values. never lose hope. never give up. always do the right thing for anyone you meet.
I am glad you have found hope
It's not Charles. It's Jean Luc Picard.
This movie is underrated. I believe it's up there with Avengers Endgame and Justice League Dark Apokolips War. Love this type of movie
It is more like Infinity War where the villains are not just bad for the sake of it. Endgame was a popcorn movie, great but just like most movies good vs evil.
& now we can include the Snyder cut
@@charlesloftin8768 And hopefully the sequel if it ever comes
I don't think it is underrated
It really is great

-Charles Xavier
Days Of Future Past is probably my favourite superhero movie of all time, and I am missing the X-Men franchise a lot, it will always hold a special place in my heart. It deserves more respect for having great movies like Logan and X2, hopefully the cast gets a final goodbye in the MCU with this multiverse thing going on, they deserve it.
Yep. I understand there is a need for a reboot actor wise but the original cast(s) should have some sort of final goodbye. At least Charles Xavier is having, lets see in the Dr Strange who else.
@@RonalCive10 no one else

@@granmosermal3625 man, as much as i love "Logan", i'm glad as hell that movie is set in an alternate timeline (completely separate stories), cause while the Fox's X-Men series has it's glorious ups and disastrous downs, DOFP is the perfect narrative closer to the story that the saga deserve, everything else that happens is either an in-between (like the deadpool series) or an alternate reality (Like Logan and potentially the Wolverine and Deadpool)
Look past my future....see your future....
I swear this ending is one of the best endings in history to a franchise.
Man, this track really gets me every time. This, and thinking about the message "Just because someone stumbles, loses their way, doesn't mean they're lost forever." cuz it's true, ain't it? Even in the darkest of situations, there's always hope.
This was the most touching scene for me.
The end scene
Which one? There were clips of it in a few different scenes.
X-Men Days of Future Past is seriously one of the best X-Men films man. Of course Logan and the Deadpool films are out there.
But Days of Future Past came out in the middle of the MCU dominating the superhero genre. And it still was such fantastic film all around.

This song is so beautiful. Every time I hear it, I want to cry right on the spot. It makes me reconsider everything I've done in my life, just to get down the reason to why I'm doing anything. It makes me dig deep in myself to find my motivation for whatever I'm doing.
I feel that it's these songs that should win the awards and be on the "Top 100 Billboard". Why does it feel that best songs are the ones that are most ignored? All of these songs used in soundtracks are simply forgotten by most people. This song is so much more astonishing than any of those played on the radio or considered "The Big Deal". This song deserves so much more credit than it receives.

Guineagirl59210 Agreed on all levels man
Guineagirl59210 Great comment! I think also because it reminds me of that last scene in the movie, where Wolverine sees all his old friends... thats a feeling no one can describe, and this song got really close.
Can someone tell me whats the name of the music in the scene where Charles is talking to raven when she has the gun pointing toward imp. Meanwhile iceman is being killed. That scene song is what I'm looking for but can't find it. Help please.
Time and hope are both amazing in their own unique ways.

I love that John ottman paid tribute to Hans Zimmer's peace and inception because it really works it's not copying and it's not stealing the theme for hope is specifically like the theme for time plus the fact that they use that theme for the Comic-Con trailer so it works perfectly for the film
Thank You ⭐
"Please...we need you to hope again."-Charles Xavier one of the best scenes in the movie. Loved this scene so much so much power and emotion throughout and I think that Stewart and McAvoy are great in this scene. Days of Future Past is a brilliant film, best X-Men film yet
Raven's story of that redemption of re-gaining hope is touching.
I agree :) Its nice to see some devlopment of Mystique which was lacking in X-Men 1-3
Have you seen Amazing Spiderman 2? There's a similar theme displayed throughout from Gwen, to hold onto hope. Really interesting.
Yes I have and a very underrated film :) I agree there
Yeah great movie. Spider-man: a grieving hero. I connected with him in his brokenness.
This movie is easily one of my top 3 favorite superhero movies of all time. After all those years with X-Men, at the end when Wolverine wakes up and sees everybody alive, living their normal lives, that moment feels so calm and emotional, like some burden has been lifted off and now it's just peace for the rest of our lives.
Especially seeing Jean. Even though she was with Cyclops, her death haunted him. Seeing her alive and happy, even with someone else. Made it worth it. On a much smaller scale I can relate.

Dakota9202 yes...this song.....is an ideal of hope(*ZIMMER DRUMS ATTACK*)
There’s no doubt that The Avengers have set the standard when it comes to comic book movies, but the X-Men are the reason I got into comics in the first place. They have so much more depth, are far more relatable, and they reflect the struggles of outsiders and minorities in society.
The old X men cartoons or just the comics? I grew up watching these x men cartoons and I'm glad I did, values and morals taught
I'm such a wuss, I actually cried for some reason when Logan woke up to see everyone alive. This movie is easily the best Marvel movie they have made.
Me too ... This is a wanderfull movie
+Shelly Estrada I nearly choked when Xavier couldn't get Cerebro to work because of the loss of his students and his broken heart. He didn't believe in himself anymore. It nearly made me break a tear because I was going through some dark times of my own. It reflected on that. And when Logan came back to his own time and saw everyone he had lost, back. It shined a smile as if my life is getting better.
Same here just like a baby in the exact moment
The same happened to me... last scene made me want to cry
I cried the very moment Logan woke up
Days of Future Past was my favorite X-men movie.
Same, for me it ended the Fox Movies
This tune relaxes me. This was the best Xmen film by a clear mile.

Yes I heard a striking similarity to time too. Both awesome tracks
+Aristotle Smoked Time is much better though in my opinion. Just so much more depth to Hans Zimmer's music.
+aazo5 I also enjoyed "Dream is Collapsing" in the Inception soundtrack. You should look it up!
Zuka Safarjalani I have it on iTunes. I like it as well.

Never forget how good an Xmen film can be
We just watched this movie again tonight and it reminded me just how much I love both this movie and this track. Such a beautiful scene when he wakes up and this is an amazing song to accompany all the emotions that come along with it.
Came to the conclusion that Days of Future Past is one of the best non MCU comic book movies ever, in the post Dark Knight trilogy and pre Infinity War era
I remember this song... then (2014), I was going through probably one of the worst times of my life. It gave me hope; I started training harder, passed some very important exams to advance in my career, and got over my ex-girlfriend. Every time that I need a push, I listen to it. I do get sentimental but also with the energy to succeed.
Name of this song ???
This film and the score blew me away. It's by far the best Marvel movie ever, even better than Captain America The Winter Soldier.
Such a touching, fun and exciting soundtrack.
its obviously better than any movies from that Disney/Marvel universe. even The Avengers cannot top Days of Future Past ;)
Dominique Deguire Yeah. That has been the problem. Disney/Marvel has never made a film as bad as say X-Men Origins Wolverine, or Spider-Man 3, but they have never made a film that is super amazing as well. They don't have anything on the dark knight trilogy, x1, x2, First Class, Days of Future Past, Rami's Spider-Man and Spider-Man 2. But because they have yet to have a true terrible stinker everyone overrates their films. Its getting annoying.
Terrence Yeo I agree with you completely about those films, but all those movies still have supporters/defenders or just are flat out ignored by the super Marvel Studios ass kissing fanboys. I was saying they haven't had a film that is just flat out hated by everyone they way the films I named are
foorocker Personally, I think Spider-Man 3 was better than any of the Iron Man sequels :P
Dominique Deguire and I agree with you! Iron Man 2 was bad, Iron Man 3 was a turd wrapped in a piss sandwich. We need to be like Magneto and get more people on our side.
every human being dream
just waking up and see everyone you've lost being alive
This scene, this movie, this saga, this masterpiece saved me from falling into darkness. This kind of art forged me as a better human being, a stronger and more resilient man.
I always come back when I feel lost and down. It just gives me hope
Never been such a superhero movie which its storyline is so poetic, I think its almost on par with Nolan's The Dark Knight.
Agreed. Its definitely up there
Each score brings beautiful drama such as pain, happiness, hope, suffering etc. This is one of my favorites.
"It's good to see you Scott"
I haven't seen any other X-Men movies, but I have to say this one really does let you feel how they feel. You don't want the Mutants to be found and tested on; you want them to be able to live a "human" life.
+Sara Ellis Go watch the first 2 men movies and first class... especially first class and The Wolverine. Skip X3 and wolverine origins :D
+Shawn Browne ;) and Apocalypse is super underrated
+Sherhan Mahmud Really underrated
I haven't seen it.
Skip Wolverine?! You crazy?? ;)
The last 2 X-Men movies really capture the emotional struggle that every mutant has in their will to find somewhere they belong, but this music fits mutants perfectly. The clash between Charles and Eric's ideals concerning their species is amazing to watch.
The first 2 X-Men were really good, but First Class and DoFP were deeper than any Marvel/Fox comic book movie that has ever been released. I am honestly shocked at the turn around this franchise has mad after the disaster that was X3. Let's just all hope that Marvel doesn't get the rights, because then it will become a comedic pun-fest that seems to saturate every MCU movie these days.
+Savethebestforu first class was ok, not much an x men movie, x men 3 was an x men movie despite of his flaws, the first one is ok too, the best so far are x2 and this one, this one is teh best so far, the mcu sucks i hope they never get the rights, disney destroys everything
I could not stand X3. To me it was an embarrassment to the franchise, because everything was filled with fanservice.
+Savethebestforu Me also I didn't like X-Men 3 because of Bryan Singer not involved with the project. I always consider X-Men: Days Of Future Past as the best out of all the X-Men movies made. Although since X-Men Apocalypse is coming soon along with four spin offs I think 20th Century Fox will return the rights to Marvel since X-Men Apocalypse and the spin offs are the final X-Men movies to be made by 20th Century Fox. The only movie I don't like from 20th Century Fox is the Fantastic Four movies. If 20th Century Fox succeeds in making the X-Men movies, they fail in making the Fantastic Four movies. And don't forget 20th Century Fox has disappointed Fantastic Four fans once again right when the Fantastic Four reboot bombed at the box office because of that incident with Josh Trank and 20th Century Fox. And 20th Century Fox cut a large amount of Trank's original footage in the Fantastic Four reboot because Fox wanted more of an Avengers/X-Men fun like movie, while Trank was aiming for a darker movie that acts as a spiritual sequel to his debut film Chronicle which resulted with Josh Trank being abusive and cruel to the cast and crew. In my honest opinion I think 20th Century Fox should return the rights of the Fantastic Four first to Marvel before they return the rights of X-Men to them. Also, Bryan Singer was good in making the first two X-Men films including Days Of Future Past and I am truly sure that he will do good again when he makes X-Men Apocalypse and don't forget, he made the X-Men movies a big hit since he makes the films that 20th Century Fox wants and tries to make the X-Men movies as good as possible, because his cut on the X-Men movies are the things that 20th Century Fox wanted. I only wish that Bryan Singer could have made the Fantastic Four movies so that he can give what 20th Century Fox wanted instead of hiring other directors like Josh Trank and creating issues like re shoots in the final cut and other stuff.
+Kyle Dwayne Luna i liked wolverine movie i know deadpool looked like shit but the whole story i liked. i dont know why alot of ppl bash it.
FC and DoFP are indeed leaps ahead of the MCU films in terms of storytelling. The only MCU movie I really liked was Winter Soldier.
I love listening to movie soundtracks. Each one has their own distinct sound, it's own unique feeling. This one is amazing.
“You know...this is what life looks like. A home, people who love each other. A safe place, you should take a moment and feel it”
They were clearly inspired by Inception's Time for this.
This movie made me respect the X-Men movie a whole lot more, the marvel movies have nothing on X-Men, my opinion only, just one simple action can change the whole course "Hope Again" and this song helped a lot it's so deep full of emotion. Could be for a final battle scene or a character dying or just a moment to stand up and take control, anything, everything
+GenAries11 Personally I still think the entire middle piece of this music that's missing in the actual film, should've been used during that scene logan show's xavier flashbacks of jean through the first 3 x men films up to the point he had to stab her, only this time showing the main dilemma's each character faced in those first 3 movies. More scenes of the Jean, Logan, Cyclop relationship duo, as well as evil mystique and Kitty and ice man's original story and why mystique hates humanity, THEN it would've helped those who've only watched First Class before Days of future past, make better since of what's going on with the future versions of those characters. It would've got the message across better revealing that it's all about trying to undo all the character's wrong choices and mistakes they made in the past and change their course of thinking.
You have a good point there it would have made a bit more sense and I completely agree with you that the middle part should have been used on the flash backs definitely more emotion in it
"Charles, we need you to hope..again" - Patrick Stewart
Logan waking up and everything that he has lost its alive once again is a feeling that i wanna live.
After watching the all the X-men movies, you realize this movie was what changed everything. Hope again ^.^
Never thought anyone could pull off the character of Charles Xavier like Patrick Stewart, but James McAvoy has done a great job of living up to that standard and making the character so sympathetic. He does believe there’s good in everyone no matter how many times they give him reasons not to.

@@LukeLovesRose i'm confused where did I call you names? I am just saying that for my money that 'cartoon' has produced some of the best X Men media in a long LONG time. Now I LOVE DOFP and ye i know its easy to dunk on Disney, but I think X Men 97 has surpassed DOFP, Not sure about Logan - we shall see...
@@shabello Didn't you call me a welp??
@@shabello There is nothing in that cartoon that could match or top the art direction in DOFP. Just look at the bedroom where Logan confronts the gangsters. Given what's going on, given what's happening, everything on screen is PERFECT to compliment it
This scene probably saved lives.

Its save my life too
Yup. 👍
Of that i have no doubt
Yet another stunning and beautiful piece by John Ottman. Wow.
Words can't describe how much I loved this movie. It's a shame the X-Men franchise never had any real continuity. And it certainly deserved a better send off than Dark Phoenix.
I don't why I cry and feel good at same time hearing this.
This music appears in the final scene when Logan woke up in bed. I have to say it's one of the most intensely emotional soundtracks in this movie.
This gives me goosebumps * - *
Most respect for movie soundtracks!
welcome back
I came across this song at the ending scene of Days of Future Past when I was switching between channels. The scene which Wolverine wakes up & discovers his team is alive while this song is playing really moves me, it's a feeling that can't be translated into words. It's like I've been having a terribly vivid nightmare & wake up knowing I'm fine with the ones I love. The song is magical, it simply touch you even when you first listen to it, just like it did when I first stumbled upon this film particularly at the ending scene. Previously I wasn't an X-Men fan but after watching The Last Stand, First Class & Days of Future Past, I'm glad to say I am now. Gonna watch the first X-Men & X2 to have a better idea of the connection between the 5 installments. Anyway this song deserves more credit, recognition & appreciation, well done John Ottman
I like the MCU but there is no way they’re gonna top X:Men First Class, Days of Future Past or Logan
Why are you making comparisons? What is it with you people? What do you think fiction is? Some sort of competition for superiority? I thought it’s something for us to relax and enjoy without worrying what’s better than the other and what’s not. Stop with the comparisons.
And NOW PATRİCK STEWART(PROFESSOR X) İN MCU :):) I WİLL CRY
@@arcticangel1628 lol comparisons are not that big of a deal
@@TheTonyEntertainment If it’s not that big of a deal, then there’s no point at making comparisons at all or even looking at fiction as if it’s about out-doing the other. It should be about relaxing and enjoying regardless of which one’s better than the other.
@@arcticangel1628 the point is comparisons will always be made. It's normal. Get over it. It's not that big of a deal.
Imagine being an adult say something like 36-50’s age missing your youth then you just wake up with your head on the desk and your back in middle school or high school and just shocked seeing all the people that were adults as teens again then seeing your family young and people you lost back alive that would feel crazy but good at the same time I’d still be shocked for couple days if that would happen but then be glad to restart again people can dream tho
Wished you said 40-, 36 is young bruh.....
Woke up up with this in my head and had to listen to it immediately.
"We need you to hope again"
