This is the Messi season I think was the best in terms of stats. In 2011 I think he was the best attacker( really dangerous because of his pace and dribbling) In 2014-15 he was the best player( complete) 2018-19 was where he carried Barca. 2016-17 and 2017-18 are really underrated tho

In a way, Messi emulated Maradona for Barcelona in the 2018-2019 season in terms of carrying a weakened team to glory (La Liga) and dragging them to the UCL semifinal. Also, he somewhat did the same for Argentina in the 2022 World Cup. The 2014/2015 season also I have a soft spot for, especially because that is the last season he won the UEFA Champions League; as well as the revenge season for not winning the 2014 World Cup. He is playing in MLS now, but I think he has 3 - 4 years left for Argentina where he can win a few more titles and being the best player on his team.
