- This is a video in regards to one of the best season's Messi has had. Unfortunately Messi's season was hindered by a injury which made him miss vital matches. For Barcelona he played 50 matches & amassed 60 goals & 15 assists. Within those goals, some of them can't describe how good they are.

Maybe a hot Take?:, messi was a better goalscorer in 2012-13 than in 2011-12 because of non penalty goals, goals per 90/goal ratio, expected goals, scoring in 21 consecutive la liga matches in a singe season, having over 60 goals even with injuries. Also, best playmaking seasons from messi imo, 2014-15, 2017-18 and 2018-19. Best dribbling season 2006-08, 2008-09,2010-11 and 2014-15. Honestly you could say every season from 2006-07 till 2018-19 ish is his best dribbling season❤😊🔟🇦🇷

His dribbling in 12/13 was below par because he was chubby, Also it impacted his overall performance. Yes he was a deadly finisher but he wasnt able to bring himself in very dangerous positions in 12/13 all by himself as frequently as last season because his dribbling had gotten worse.

This was statistically his best season for open play goals/minute of play, AND his greatest ever season of open play goals + assists/minute of play by a significant margin.

Even comparing a bullshit stat like 'dribbles per game', he hit 3.8 dribbles/game in 2012/13 vs. a minor increase of 4.8 in 2011/12.
What an incredible season Messi had for Barcelona, he played 50 games and amassed 60 goals & 15 assists. But stats do not do justice to this man's season, some goals can't be described in words. He also broke the record held by legend Gerd Muller who achieved a outrageous 85 goals in one year, Messi amassed a ridiculous 91 goals in one year, a record he might hold for a long , long time. His dribbles were also a wonder this season, along with some crazy passes, as it is in all his seasons. I really enjoyed making this video & I hope it shows. Enjoy the 🐐!
Fun fact; in 2011 Messi had 36 assists in a single Calendar year, i believe. The most of his career in a calendar year. Which has later been broken by an Ajax player, i believe🔟🇦🇷⚽🙌

@@lopedja3559 Messi won the Ballon d'Or for 2012 which was awarded during 12/13 season. He also won the Golden Shoe for the season.
@@LNLBD meaning, he was awarded the ballon d’or when every competition was still in play. Bayern has not won a single trophy yet in Jan 2013 when Messi was given the award. The 2012/2013 season ballon d’or was awarded to Ronaldo on January 13th 2014.

And at that time, Bayern had not won a single trophy from that 2012/2013 season yet. Just go and check the dates when they actually won every single trophy from that quadruple season. Ronaldo walked away with the ballon d’or for 2012/2013 season after winning 0 trophy that year. He received the trophy on Jan 2014. Your beef should be against Ronaldo

No need to apologise. Hmmm, it’s a tricky one. I have mixed feelings. I think we all wanted one last dance at Barca, but politics & economics came into play. Selfishly I would love him back, even by loan, but after he won the World Cup, I was happy for him to go anywhere other then stay at PSG. I feel he knows he has completed football. So overall I’m just happy to see a smiling Messi again. 🐐✌️
