I used Android phone to do the ID check (my friends who used iPhone couldn't complete the process), and at that time I came to know that the process becomes successful only if you have used the NFC through your phone at least one time. Because, when my friend used her new phone (she haven't used NFC feature yet), she couldn't do it. So I think this was the case.

Earliest you can apply for any visa extension or visa swith in the UK is 3 months before your visa expiring. If you apply before that, your application will not be accepted and you will lose any fees. In your case, when you can apply will depend on when your results are out. You can ask your uni for provisional results and a letter. Then you can apply. Don't think of applying on the day of visa expiry as website can go down for maintenence or something. Then you will find it hard to implement paragraph 39E of immigration rules. So apply as soon as possible (3 months before at the earliest)

Buddy it gets delivered to your current address. Maybe you can put the current address and use Royal Mail redirect service to get it delivered to your new address. I'm not sure if you should put an address in your application that is not current address at the moment. Having said that, you can seek help from free immigration advisor by calling them. I made a video about it recently. Do this just to be 100% sure 🙂

Service standard is 8 weeks. However your application can take longer if more information is needed.
So make sure that when you will the form, any supporting evidence must be clear.
