Hi, I have a query regarding a graduate visa.
THE student visa, whose expiry is 15/01/2024, so how many days before can someone apply for a graduate visa? Does a UKVI set any time frame?
Please respond as soon as you can.

I had applied for Graduate visa on 22nd Jan 2024 and noticed that i have added oct-2023 instead of oct-2022 on one of my past home address. I have submitted a cover letter highlighting the mistake on 25th Jan 2024. Does this cause an issue? My BRP ends on 20th Feb 2024 and I'm worried.

You can still stay in UK until you don’t get the decision from home office. If your student BRP expires then also you are allow to stay as you have applied for PSW and waiting for the decision.

I got mails of references number and fees confirmation but not in which they say that ukvi recivied ur application.
I got mail like you have until 30 july to confirm and submit ur appointment...if you have already done ignore this.

I want to know one thing as i got confirmation letter from my university today and my visa will be expired on 02/06/2024 so i have only four days. Hence, is it alright if I'm applying for now but as you said we have to wait three weeks for approval of graduate route visa???

No you don’t have to worry about it. Apply for psw and still you can work and stay in uk till you get your new brp.

I have applied exactly on the same day and i got received application mail on 7:00am at 30 jan 2024...!
Still now i havent got decision..from the home office...on that mail they give me wait until 26 mar 2024...!

@@pujasinghlondon4106 tx for your reply.... but i have already given my sharecode , i know it is strange but they are still asking for something else because my visa expiry date on that website is for next week ( which is true) and sharecode expiry date is for September 2024. Is there any other proof to prove work legally while waiting for decision?
@@user-jc6gk9pd1r I don’t think so there can be any other way apart from the share code. It’s actually accepted my all the employees and I did the same in my situation.
Try to show them your application for psw and explain the situation. All the best

I applied for a PSW visa on 22nd Dec 2024, and I've noticed my friend, who applied later, has received their visa. Is this delay normal, or should I be concerned about my application? Please let me know if you have any information
bro some of them are facing these issues no need to worry it depends on the case worker who is working on your documentation. You will also get it in upcoming days. IF they need any additional info means they will ask you in prior making the decision unless if you have done any mistakes in the application process

As a student you can work only 20 hrs a week so to get job in software development for part time will be bit tricky but if you can manage to find any freelance jobs.

Yes if your new visa is in process and employer have no issue. You can ask your employer to verify from Home Office if your new visa application is in progress.

@@satyampatel1175 at govt website it’s clearly mentioned that when your applying for PSW you cannot leave UK. They asked all the travelling details when you are filling the PSW form. I am not sure what will happen at airport but that’s the criteria of PSW.
I am the only one in my friends circle who believes in applying for PSW 2 months before the study visa ends.

yes apart from visa application fees- of 715 pounds, you need to do IHS payment for 2 years which is 624*2= 1248 pounds.

@@chintanchauhan365 as a Graduate visa holder, your dependants can stay with you in the UK for the duration of your stay if they joined you in the UK when you held a student visa. So during student visa if you didn’t bring your dependant then you won’t be able to bring during your PSW

If rejected, can we apply for PSW again?
Take the help of a solicitor then, I am not very much sure about the process after rejection. But what happened, what reason have they mentioned for rejection?
