Phew...I nearly beat the "BishoP' racing tour in FZero: maximum Throttle but crash dmy last vehicle. Not crashing even on the first level within 40 seconds took me a ton of practice, and the game is measier when you know about the boost ability.
From your other comment, it sounds like you almost got it. Not sure how much I can say other than that I tap the A button as I go around some turns when I'm holding L or R. I also think the vehicle I use here is one of the best. Hes right tap a while holding L or r. You gotta lead it slightly differently with different cars but the grating sounds when he turns is the a taps and it makes ya turn better no idea wtf is going on
This game is great, but at master level the game mechanics get frustrating. Your car is slower than everybody else's, so you must swerve and block in order to win. Came here to see if someone had a better tactic, but nope, looks like that is the general concept to win.
I completely understand what you're saying and I do think this one is more frustrating in that way compared with GP Legend and F-Zero Climax. It should be noted, though, that I found the vehicle that I used here to be a little easier to deal with compared with the others. Not everyone would necessarily agree with me that it's the best one to use.
You need to learn how to exploit your vehicle’s strengths to the fullest in master difficulty. For example, you really have to plan out where you boost whenever you are using either the Sly Joker or Fighting Comet because those vehicles’ boosts take a very long time to wear off after they finish, so finding the longest stretches where you don’t have to brake or slow down becomes critical. If you are using the J. B. Crystal, this vehicle’s traction is unparalleled. Finding twisty areas where your maximum traction can allow you to keep control of your long but slow boost and boosting in those areas can allow you to pass lots of other vehicles that have to severely slow down in order to navigate those areas is a viable strategy.
