I'm not sure why your yoga together with the girls made me tear up a little but congratulations Bea, your studio is beautiful. Time spent with loved ones is always special and how thoughtful that not only do you want to improve your health but theirs as well. Also gz on getting the seeds germinated. Gardening saved me from grief after my Dad and brother died. Your channel helped me too. After discovering you and your weight loss journey it inspired me to take care of myself again. Thank you
Hi! I’m a yoga teacher and long time subscriber and I just wanted to say that this was such a heartwarming episode! They do sell special yoga pads for your knees if that’s an issue for your amazing group of new yogis. You can also try a small folded blanket, or the double mat approach that you suggested. The mats from target/walmart are a great price point but are very thin so don’t get discouraged, it’s a very common problem. Chair yoga is also an amazing suggestion!
Ashley L. --- I have inner ear issues ... I get BPPV when I move my head the wrong way sometimes and I have it ALL day to the point where I have to take a Valium and sleep it off. EVERYTHING spins and I can throw up and I can't walk. It's usually gone after a good 12-hour nap (nap ..LOL) but I live in fear of inciting it! I used to love to do a little Yoga ... but the whole "putting my head down" and rolling my head/neck, etc. make me leery. Is there a yoga protocol for people with inner ear and balance issues? Thanks.
@Sherry Ann Have you done Epley maneuvers? I dont have bppv, I just wondered if Epley works. Chiropractors and ear nose throat drs usually help with people do Epley. But I have also seen youtube videos about how to do them. (My sister had vertigo for a time, that's why my interest.) Not sure youtube will allow it, but I'll try to post a link:
@@dogdonut3 I"ve had hit-or-miss results (mostly miss) with all the maneuvers suggested for BPPV. The "1/2 somersault" one seems to be the best, but generally, once I get dizzy, I just have to hit the hay and sleep it off.
Yoga blocks are a real help when starting out. They make balance and the distance to the floor less intimidating. They also make yoga knee pads (they look like mini yoga mats). They help me a lot!
Yes to both of these!! It’s sort of annoying how beginner yoga is made way better with more props! But blocks, knee pads, blankets, bolsters; all are SO helpful!
I love how much time you invest into your family, I often felt that growing up my friends were embarrassed of spending time with parents/grandparents etc.. but I never did and I always wondered if that was normal. Now I’m in my late 20’s and I can appreciate all the memories that would have been missed if I had of been embarrassed ❤
Bea, this is the best channel on yt. From time to time I get into depressive episodes and when it's bad I can't consume almost any media (music, books, movies...). Previous times I've been saved by Modern Family and HP audio books, that was the only things I could bear. This time around I have your videos on repeat. You're literally helping me live. Thank you ❤️
We love seeing Grandma and Chetty! The duo we never thought we needed. Yoga with the girls was adorable! Edit: also, imma need that corner yoga mat storage thing 👀
Bea, you’re such a beautiful soul. I wish I could join you and the gorls cause man do I need a community I feel safe with. Thank you for continuing to share and helping me feel like I’m not alone in becoming a hermit.
I also think color contrasts are really important with patterns. So that the patterns can distinctly stand out. Especially if there’s aim to really go all out on pitching together patterns.
Bea I loved your family Yoga, especially as your grandma has just lost her husband, the more family time she’s involved in and seeing you all the better it will be for her. Plus…she gets cuddles with chetty..I love it. ❤ The healing part is a slow process, but is definitely easier when you all have family around one another. X
Seeing your sweet grandma trying something new, knowing she is grieving was very inspiring. I hope her new kitten is helping as well. What a sweet gift to have your mom and grandma close by.
I LOVE water aerobics!!!! I have a joint disorder and it's one of my favorite forms of exercise. It's much easier on your joints and you can still get a great workout in. I highly recommend an indoor, heated pool if you can find one locally. Heated water makes the experience so much more luxurious and relaxing IMO.
Your yoga studio is nicer than many professional ones. Girl, you definitely know how to create ambiance. It was great to see the gorls getting their yoga on with you. Even baby steps can cover a mile if they're consistent.
Bolsters, blocks, pads, blankets, and straps are your friends! When I started yoga I so wildly inflexible and having those extra tools at the studio really helped make it enjoyable even in the struggle.
Your grandma immediately coming in the door and saying “Hi cheddy” was so precious 😆 I relate with the yoga being hard on the knees. I do stretches on my bed because I’ve found that even a thick yoga mat doesn’t really help
Gurl I loved both of your first two outfits, gosh that's one thing that comes with being 40, against all anxiety and odds your brain really does shift to not giving a ddaaammmnnn and just being happy in what feels good and makes you happy. Best perk!
After watching the news from Nashville today, I was so sad. Then I saw this video was posted…just what I needed 😊 Then I sent it to my Aunt to make her smile! Thank you :)
@@bloodorangemoon There was a teenage girl, Brenda Spencer, in the 1970’s who was abused terribly by her father. She lived across the street from a school and one day she just started shooting the kids outside of the school. That’s the only female school shooter I have ever heard of. Crazy
For the furbabies… try prepping some homemade enrichment toys they can enjoy upstairs while y’all are downstairs doing your thing 🤗 petsafe makes some awesome toys for this as well. So not only are they able to occupy themselves… but also mentally exhausting themselves… everybody wins! Love you Bea and sending prayers your way during this time🙏🏻♥️
You are rockin' it gurl!!! Thank you for sharing this. You are doing so much by getting them together in one place. I repeat what the other people are saying: it is uplifting to your community/family!! It goes way beyond weight in this vid for me ,personally. Why did my heart melt when she picked up Chetty!?! So great. Keep it up & bless your wonderful self!! 🙂🌺🌺🙂
Definitely look into getting yoga accessories like blocks, towels, pads, and straps. It’ll help with modifications for the ladies. Love seeing Grandma with her grand baby 😻❤️
Watching something? Too bad, Bea just uploaded! Definitely got distracted by the fur babies and didn't see any of the yoga 😅. Thanks for making my treadmill time a little better❤
I love that you’re all spending quality time together, having a giggle, and doing something that makes y’all feel good. What a gift❤ And can we talk about Grandma’s li’l baby legs dangling🥹she’s such a darling❤ I’m so glad she has such a wonderful family to spend time with and of course a visit and cuddle with CHETTY😂
Yoga is taught with all sorts of animals: baby goats, puppies,....now with Chettis! You're just being a good yoga studio. For knees, I use these interlocking foam squares intended for children under the mat
Your workout with the gorlz was adorable!! I wish my aunt and Mum were nearby so we could just casually do stuff with each other and be in each others' lives. They are so gracious and I love what you do to spend time with them.
Such a wholesome video. I got all teary eyed. I wish I had something like this with my family, but I am grateful we can watch yours. I am also super proud of everyone for not feeling like they need to hide in the internet anymore! Such a beautiful group of ladies🌸🌼
This was such a fun vlog Bea! I love that your family has gotten so comfortable with filming and don’t mind showing themselves, makes it so much for fun! Looking forward to seeing more of this. Your grandma is awesome lol! Congrats on the seedlings! And RIP to your grandpa. He will forever be in your heart ❤️
Yes water aerobics is the best for them. I do it with my mom and I also have to use a thicker yoga mat cuz my knees can’t handle it. But I’m soo happy they’re having a good time!!
I also have a hard time doing yoga on hard floors and I’m in my 20’s! I have a rug underneath my yoga mats that I got at Ross! It helps SO MUCH. You can also get those foam pieces that have the puzzle edges from five below for pretty cheap or in packs off Amazon. They’re pretty thick. I’ve used them as well and they’re honestly really comfortable.
Always look forward to your videos and what a great room for yoga (daily yogi here). I've noticed the last few episodes Elmo has been unveiled but I don't remember you mentioning if it was because she felt more comfortable though I'm guessing that must be the case. So cool to see all your family embracing your filming and participating in your healhier lifestyle goals. Can't wait to see what you give us next...just keep up being you because you rock!
This was the cutest thing I've seen this year 😍 Adriene has chair yoga & yoga for seniors. Maybe you could all have a chair instead next time? Solves the mat complaints (I hate thin ones too!) & helps you all feel equal? I love that you did this, so sweet 💜
I love that you did this with you family. When my mom comes back from her trip I’m going plan a yoga session with her. Also yoga with Adrienne is the best
I just wanna wish you well and I’m glad that you are keeping you and your family together as a support group as the grieving passes. To do lists are my favorite tool along with a paper calendar to keep my shit together with ADHD .
This was the loveliest video! You're so great for doing this for you and your gorls! And of course the fur babies want to be included, absolutely adorable ❤❤❤
Yo! I just discovered yoga with A a couple months ago! She's amazing! It's the first time I've ever really liked yoga and found it beneficial. And your studio is amazing too!
I love that you were all hanging out together chillin and doing some yoga. Three generations doing yoga together, so awesome! Also, your gram and Chettie ❤.
We love Graminal! Bea, maybe grab some blocks for them! I use blocks and a blanket to help me get into stretches and sometimes a chair! DD can be done from kneeling but use a blanket for under the knees for the goorls! I do this and it works wonderfully. ❤❤❤

I was getting teary, too!

@Sherry Ann I'm sorry you have to deal with this. I hope you have fewer and fewer eisodes...or even better, that it goes away for good!
You’re such a good granddaughter/daughter. I love how you brought your community together!! So inspiring

Yes yes yes! Such a good investment for the gorls
I love your grandma showing up and involving herself and not just observing from the bleachers! Family goals!
Awww, your grandma was so happy to see Chettie!! I bet this whole thing hang out was good for her spirit. ♥ Looks like y'all had a great time!
Love seeing Chetti back with you getting all up in your business 😊

my rule of thumb when mixing patterns (although I don't always follow it lol) is to mix a small pattern with a big one!
Good to know! When I try to mix patterns I always think I look like a 3 year old dressing herself when she really shouldn't be.
I also think color contrasts are really important with patterns. So that the patterns can distinctly stand out. Especially if there’s aim to really go all out on pitching together patterns.
Dude your house is badass!! That basement is so freakin cool 🙌🏼

❤ the pets cheering everyone on
Tell your family we are SO PROUD of their efforts with the Yoga! HURRAY for you and and them!
I absolutely adore your grandma. She's a gem.

Luv you all and both fur babies!
Aww Bea and fur baby yoga combo looked so good .I love that all you girls got together that was just so lovely ❤
Walking clubs are fun too. This is such a great idea.
It was entertaining seeing Chetti 🐈⬛and Douglas 🐕 running around you guys. I say yes keep letting them do yogi 🧘♀️ with you all🤣❤️🫶
I love how involved your pets are and that the whole family will pet and love on them
I love your grandma so dang much. She reminds me of mine. Looks like you all had a good time!
Bolsters, blocks, pads, blankets, and straps are your friends! When I started yoga I so wildly inflexible and having those extra tools at the studio really helped make it enjoyable even in the struggle.
Love, love, love! 💜
What a great idea!
Thanks for sharing, Bea!
I'm so glad you mentioned the mental health benefit at 10:15. You all had so much fun and that's so important!
Glad that you've been uploading more frequently lately!!!

OMG your grandmother with cheddi is massive cuteness overload!!!
I love that you’re hanging out with your fam and helping them find an activity they like. ❤

To pad my knees during yoga, I found those little foam pads that are supposed to be for gardening at the dollar store. They work great!
Your Grandma holding Chetty on the chair was so cute!! I loved the yoga with the girls!

Your grandma is so cute! and thank your mom for letting herself get filmed. She looks great.
I like seeing her face rather than Elmo’s 11:01
