This footage is incredible. The lines MS draws on a wave are incomparable. Those cut backs are so powerful and smooth at the same time it's hard to wrap your head around. As for the ARS body surfing well I'm lost for words. GOAT.
Totally agree!! I'd rather watch Mike then Pierre or Hubb all day! Not that they're not good, just alot more predictable.
@@williamwolski4987 I reckon what Mike does is so pure and so connected to what the ocean is doing that he's in a whole other world of performance.
@@davew5167 I grew up in Huntington Beach back in the late 80s early 90s and Mike had a condo a mile down the street from me. It was late 80s I think and we started to do reverse belly spins. Was at the pier, I was going left and Mike was coming at me going right. I pulled off the back and let him have the oncoming section. He busted the first air reversal out I ever saw like 5 ft over the top of the wave. He was the master! My walls were covered with his pics. Now he's allmost 60 still blowing minds!!
Best bodyboarder of all time! Most style, and just flows and enjoys the wave more than anyone. Pierre looks like he looks for one giant move for points and doesn't milk the wave for what it is. 3 or 4 super clean flowy maneuvers vs 1 or 2 with a backflip everytime. Rather watch Mike anyday!
