Great advice from Peachy, Patrick and Trent regarding making UA-cam content. The internet's taste and trends are impossible to continuously keep up with, just make what you like and engage in the community, treat it as a hobby. That's what most people are here for, the hobby and to see people enjoy it! 😁
One thing i learned is that i need to comment on vids more. I may be an old fart but i enjoy both miscast and pianting phase. I got a solid 2 hours of painting done thanks to you lot blethering. Cheers.

Once again, throughly enjoyable watch, lads! Definitely sidetracked a number of times and! You triggered a subconscious memory of mine from school. On my lunch break, unbeknownst to me, I was indeed 'pegged' and I had two of my class.. colleagues behind me, shouting 'Peggy, peggy' . Now, I stutter and had all manner of hell from school, so I decided to slow down and let them pass. Well, I had a kharn butchers moment, as they walked past. The closest guy only managed the 'P' before red mist and thundering fist went whistling past at his face. This ended with me getting pummelled and still having a peg attached to my coat. Lesson learnt, two is more than one! Loved school 😂. Once again, awesome content guys, and great entertainment 👍

Edit: I don’t see why GW don’t re-launch Mordheim, have it be to AoS as Necromunda is to 40K.
I was super hopeful this would happen! I love watching Miscast. It is completely NOT me, and so its wildly eye opening seeing what someone so frenetically artistic does in the same hobby.

Dangit! If only someone had suggested the Hex bases to me six months ago! I picked up some figures from Etsy for an art project, they didn't have bases so I 3d printed my own, and I've since done a bunch more figures with my 3d printed bases just for consistency. Hex bases would've been awesome and I didn't even think of it! Alas, I'm pretty sure the glue join is stronger than some of the models' knees, so even if I was willing to do all the work of making new bases I'd probably wreck something...

the muscle men things peachy is talking about were so awesome. they were mostly in a skin tone but i remember going to a shop in northern ireland where they had all sorts of colours, they were so cool. later came those monster in my pocket things, which i liked but they were never as cool as the original skin coloured things.
On the but about mordheim bases Toumas Prinen has said you can use round or square bases! He thinks the rules work either way. Might be a good shout for a guest as well. Ive seen him be interviewed a few times in the past couple of years
ngl, as an Australian hearing an Australia say that Warhammer world was a bit meh is shocking to me. My partner and I went and it blew my mind. I saw displays that I remembered from WD as a kid. I spent literal hours in the display area/museum. It was great.
I live only a few minutes away from the Adepticon convention center. Adepticon is a great time, it would be great if you guys could experience it too.

The media has been heading towards people who are multi skilled rather than an expert in one area for sometime. When I left art college I was a jack of all trades, where as others specialised. Being a jack of all trades have helped me stay in work within the media industry. I've also been happy to add new skills to my CV over the years as well.
Love that you didn't cut out the moments where Peachy had to run off and answer the door! 😂

On the topic of spray canned cheese, the proper use of it is in a type of Philly Cheesesteak called a Wiz Wit, as in "with Cheese Wiz." As it melts, it mixes with the steak and caramalized onion, making a nice sauce of sorts. I also know folks that spray it in their mouth like whipped cream, but we don't talk about them.

Peachy, you literally PAINT tiny SOLDIERS for a living. If there's a better intersection of those two things, I don't know what it would be.
Also, Trent, I'm from Utah, and I have news for you: you CAN marry everyone!
Patrick got the sgian dubh via the magic of Google - as a bagpipe player, I have a couple. They're small and mostly useless. Lots of pipers I know have sgian-brews, which are basically bottle openers on knife handles, because they're more useful.
Finally, it's "E-Z Cheez," and don't criticize it until you try it. You'll like it. You' be ashamed of yourself, but you'll like it.

Thinking of the unit fillers people used to do for Fantasy, what do you think of Mantic's approach with Kings of War? Fair enough it's a bit different when you don't have to worry about taking away individual models but the format of 75%-80% of a unit being represented by the actual models then fill it with all manner of filler is fantastic for encouraging creativity and building narrative into a unit. In fairness, I enjoy Black Powder and Hail Caesar and I love nothing more than putting in little dioramas into my units or going all out and making interesting command bases.
Making dioramas for units is the primary reason why I play Kings of War, it's brilliant.
I started KoW also for their multibasing. It makes a rank and file game quicker and gives the hobbist a chance to make cool bases!
When Casu martzu cheese exists, I can't believe you'd pick Gin or Cranberry cheese :(

Don't get me wrong, the interviews are great and we see insights we wouldn't normally see, but they are getting a little bit 'same'.
And I also understand that you have to follow the algorithm to get more views. Views = £.

It would be great to have an actual dedicated minature camera, even if it was just someones phone and a x marks the spot on the table..... or a head band go pro haha. Just for when people are pointing at things and promoting their models you can see it in real time

Mordheim is the greatest game I've played ( beastmen rock) and no i really don't want gw to re do it, its perfect the way it is , they might ruin it and that would suck , it isn't broken don't fix it lol :P love the video i feel old watching this dude, here i am 55 been doing GW from 1983 , but he is the new breed i guess :)
Oh god - on the subject of cheese, I lasted 6 months working in a cheese factory. Avoid waxed truckles like the plague. Unless you're getting them from a small artisan creamery or something, stay the hell away. Adding in stuff like fruit, spices, gin, lemon, anything that can seriously alter a taste profile is used to conceal the gone-off taste of the cheese that's long past its best. Ironically, the square blocks are the freshest stuff, they get processed, cut, packed, then go out the door. The wax truckles are generally made of all the offcuts swept off the cutting room floor, bagged up then chucked into a mixer to create truckles. Yuck. Stay the hell away.

Trent accidentally told his girlfriend the truth; Its called 'Bird friendly Design'. Planning authorities require buildings to use finishes such as non reflective glass, certain colours, finishes and other landscaping design features to prevent bird collisions and support their habitats.
