@@jeffrey_george Lmao. me too, i actually got to a store today to try them both out and i gotta say go for the G29, the leather feels just like a real car steering wheel unlike the t150 wich is just hard plastic . then i started driving, the G29 just feels more premiun, it is 10 times more durable than the t150, and the G29 already has a clutch paddle and the shifter is way cheaper . Great review as always. I especially want to compliment you guys for the final comment that you made John about the dead zone. That was the decider for me.
I have a T300 running the Ricmotech adapter for my modified G27 pedals. I saw this wheel on sale at Microcenter for $160 and jumped on it without even thinking as I wanted a backup PS4 wheel and a dedicated PC racing wheel. The T150 far exceeded my expectations and is way better than the jerky G27. As they stated, it is a hybrid with partial gear and partial belt drive. In some ways I actually like the hybrid better than the pure belt T300 in DiRT Rally and DiRT 4. Rally games also are easier to race with the smaller rim T150 for fast movement and constant rapid reverse steering. However in road racing games like Project Cars and Assetto Corsa where there are less demanding steering input needs and smoother roads, the pure belt drive of the T300 gives a more realistic feel. Cresting over a hill at high speed for example, you can practically feel the wheels trying to leave the pavement. It's hard to describe the realism. I'm also not a fan of the T150's half-ass plastic wrap at the 3-9 o'clock positions with the remainder of the rim being exposed cheap plastic. It's distracting when the wheel is free-spinning in your hands. I'm looking into aftermarket real racing rim wrapping to cover the rest of the rim. Seriously Thrustmaster, it would have cost what, another $2.50 to fully coat the rim in the rubbery grip? FYI it's the same type rubber as the fully covered T300. In any event, another thing I do like about the T150 is that the button assignment mapping of this is exactly the same in PS4 games as the T300. It's even recognized as a T300 in PS4 games. When I swapped wheels on the PS4, I didn't even need to change any game assignments (I have not tried it on PC racers which is where my T300 now stays). This is the only wheel I'm aware of in the $150-$200USD market. Logitech quit making the Driving Force GT which was the only other wheel in that price range. And that is a far inferior wheel. Don't bother wasting time and money with anything less in the sub-$150 market like the T80. Not worth it.
i had a T80 red legends edition and when i finnaly got my T150 it felt like a night and day. I got the pedals and shifter and it is a realy good trucking wheel. 10/10 would recomend. My T80 mounting bracket broke off
This convinced me to get it. I was thinking about getting this as I am a semi-casual/semi-avid racing gamer as I play quite a bit of Gran Turismo. But I needed some convincing to really jump on it & this review hit it out of the park for me, going over everything I wanted to know. Thanks!
I've had my t150 for 2 years and the t3pa pedals and race iracing and American trucker sim everyday and it works great still. Great wheel to get you started or casual sim racer
500k shifts might seem like a lot but if you do the math, that only comes out to a few hundred sessions of lapping/racing. You could go through that in a year.
Tristan van Heest dude its not gonna be fine at 499999 and at 500k it just falls off do you think? Either that's the warranty or that's the estimated amount of clicks it will last, if you're gentle and nice it might last 600000 and if you're a genocidal freak it might not even last 5
Tristan van Heest dude I saw someone say that it'll only last like a couple hundred sessions but I don't think you click like 200 times a session plus manual is helpful when going in corners, especially in a game like the crew or forza, and even if you do break the paddle shifters it wouldn't cost more than 50$ to get it fixed
Thanks. Picking one up for project cars on PC tomorrow. I have more than 200 hours on it. I've only decided to get a wheel now because of the high entry price required.
Boy am I late to the party, but thank you for the in depth review. I've now decided to pull the trigger on this as my first racing wheel in preparation for Gran Turismo Sport next week.

ttbawa1 I got it new, it was from Ebay when they had a code for 20% off everything around 2 weeks ago. Also got a new TH8A shifter for £81 during that sale too.
I would have liked a price to performance comparison comment between this and the g27 also because they are about the same range and g27 is close to g29 proformance
Great wheel. Got it cheaply on sale at one of British electronics retailers, and was going to put it on ebay, but when i gave it a try it was so much better than the Logi Driving Force GT and Microsoft Sidewinder FF i used to own before, which i found disappointing at the time. There is very little (if any at all) dead zone on centre and the FF feels really good. There are no major downsides to it, it just works really well and predictably. If i was to do some knitpicking, the FF motion feels a bit notchy (not smooth) and the pedals could be better and i'd appreciate if the whole wheel was "leather" or rubber wrapped, but it's still perfectly fine and i guess thats why the higher end models exist. :)
I got this wheel six months ago for €154 (I saved €45) and its FFB feels a whole lot better than my Fanatec CSR wheel FFB which cost more. But I do plan on changing it for either a TX orT300 GTE in september. I am using a basherboard CPX with this and my Fanatec CSR elite pedals which is a huge upgrade to the pedals that came with the T150
Just repackaged my second unit for a return. Second time of use and it won't wake up, first one was DOA. Thrustmaster's support was helpful but couldn't get it up and running. Never had issues with a Logitech. Reading up on it, I'm far from the only one with this problem.
Hope it lasts better than the TX and T300. Mine gave upp after 7 months (TX).I went back to Logitech (G29) becouse you can be realy confident that it will last.
Someone who enjoys Project cars on the PS4, But not wanting to invest more then the console and game price on peripheral? This is gonna sell awesome... And Polyphony hasn't even given us a Next Gen Gran Turismo Experience... Could see this sitting at the 150 dollar price point by next Christmas season and still performing well in the market.
in Canada the t150 pro is available and it comes with the t3pa pedals for 350$ at Best buy. you guys should make a video testing it on F1 2016 and Grid 2 for the ps3
I see a lot of people asking if this is worth upgrading from a G25/7 and from personal experience I would upgrade to a t300 or tx. I love my T300 the force feedback delivery and smoothness is much better imo, the pedals arnt that good but you can still plug your G25/7 pedals into a T300 via adapter. The T150 is more top end of the entry level market, good for people first getting into it but as an upgrade of a G25/7 id be looking at a T300.
+Richard Gore We couldn't have said it better. It does lack the FFB deadzone of the G25/27 but the pedals aren't an upgrade. Those owners could also buy a TX base and use their G pedals on it
I use T300RS PS and now I have T300RS Alcantara edition with T3PA , I bought for my wife T150 and the first that I do was to disassembly everything . If anyone need photos tell me. So The internal of 2 WAY pedals of T150 are Progressive not stiff as T3PA but YEAH PROGRESSIVE , the Default 2way Pedals of T300RS are not :(.So the Internal of T150 Pedals have foam inside to get this progressive feeling, and T300RS pedals have a harder spring on the brake. So Yes T150 Pedals are better than T300RS pedals .... Hard to bealive but its true
best entry level wheel of all time. Absolutely no Force feedback dead zone, unlike my logitech g29. The pedals could be better though but they aren't bad either.
Great review guys. I owned a G27 and in comparison with it, how much disappointed will I be if I decide to purchase a T150, in terms of feel of the wheel since the pedals I can imagine have no possible comparison? I'm on a tight budget for wheels and this would be a great buy for me. Thanks.
I have a really crappy ferrari wheel and want to replace it with this, But the pedals look exactly what the video looks like so I want to see if I can buy JUST the wheel
I've had this wheel since the 30th of april 2020 and it's the second time it breaks first after 1 month the recall spring of the accelerator snapped, got the part 2 weeks later then yesterday the wheel simply powered off and could not be restarted; Add onto this that the customer service is asking for 2 weeks for an answer, I would not recommend putting a penny in this gear .
Should I get a T150, TH8A & T3PA or a G29 with the force shifter? I can get the G29 and shifter combination much cheaper than thrustmaster's offerings but I keep seeing bad reviews about it.
Hey guys, i like to invest 200 Euro in my first Ps4 wheel. Now I have to options. The T150 Rs Pro costs 180 Euro with the good T3pa pedals and the T300 Rs with the 2 pedals costs 200 Euro. Which one would you buy? I don't need a shifter in the future. But I'm not sure what is the bang for the buck in that price category. Thanks for your help
I'm perfectly fine with my DFGT for now, but I am going to eventually replace it with this once Gran Turismo 7 comes out since the DFGT isn't PS4 compatible. (Unless, Logitech, Sony and Polyphony can work something out by then...)
ISR, if you would compare only wheel itself, i mean ffb and accuracy, how does it feel compare to g27? you said it has no deadzone so + for thrustmaster, then what about accuracy, smoothness and overall feeling, and which one is faster?
I sell Thrustmaster products at my shop. I chose not to carry Logitech, cause at the price point, the T150 is much better. G27 is still a great option, but G29 is a rip off. Pedals aren't the best on the T150, but you can upgrade/mod them,& the Ffb on the t150 is pretty top notch considering the price
If i get it i would most likely get the add on pedals but i noticed that you didn't use the clutch. Is that because the clutch isn't recognized at it doesn't come with one stock or you didn't fell like using it.
Hi guys, thanks for the review. Decided to finally take the leap and buy this and it feels great to play Project CARS on the Vive with a decent quality wheel. However, I noticed when I took my headset off that there's a massive buzzing sound coming from the device. It seems to happen after a few minutes of play and only gets louder and louder. I unplugged it for half an hour or so and the buzzing was still there, although much quieter. Tried it again this morning, started off quiet and then a slight buzz that only started to get louder. Is this normal of the wheel, or do I have some fault in my device?
Good wheel I use it with t300 pedals but unfortunately there is one design floor with it which I've come to find out twice now. If they sorted that it would be a great entry level wheel.
is the t150 wheel itself better than the g29? because for me i would want to but the better pedals and shifter for the t150 which makes it cost about as much a a g29 (with an added shifter).
+Francoberry But you could almost buy 2 G29 steering wheels with the shifter for the same prize than a T300 with shifter and pedals... And if you already have the G27 shifter even less money
Ofitus 21 the T300 isn't priced as it is for no reason - I got the wheel for £200 which is comfortably cheaper, albeit without a shifter, but the quality of the wheel and motor far surpasses the logitech wheel. I sold my G27 for £170, so pretty much the T300 is a perfect upgrade for me, and should be great for most others
How much better it the t300 than the t150? Or is the biggest difference the pedals and that the t300 has more metal? What is the difference in force feedback?
I want to buy an entry level wheel for PC. The G25 unfortunately it's out of stock everywhere. I have two choices I think: Thrustmaster T150 or Logitech G Driving Force GT. Do you have any suggestion? They are similar to me but the T150 is much newer so I think it has to be better... and the Logitech one does not have the levers on the wheels for the gears.
Are the pedals sturdy? I’m thinking of buying this one, but my main concern are the pedals. Will the pedals break if I accidentally put too much pressure?
Christmas is coming up and I'm wanting to upgrade my from g27. I'm looking mainly at a wheel that will be compatible between PC and XB1 and from my knowledge, that means I'm looking at the Thrustmaster TX and one of the Fanatec wheels. Suggestions?
How good is this compared to the G27 and is it worth it to get a brand new T150 ($250 CAD) or a used G27 which can be found around $200 CAD? I mainly play on my PC and sometimes my PS3
Can you confirm how is the Steering resolution of T150 vs G27 exactly? What are your opinions on getting the T150 as a G27 Wheel upgrade? Can I use the G27 shifter/pedals if I leave both T150 and G27 plug-in on the PC? Would be great if you could test that.
+All's Plays It's 12 bit on this wheel and I think 16 or more on the G27. You can use adapters for both the pedals and shifter. An upgrade from the G27 would be a TX or T300. You can get the TX servo base and use your pedals with a Ricmotech adapter and the shifter with a Basherboards FL2 adapter.
I just bought one, and i'm trying to play GT5 on PS3..only the commands in the wheel work...but the wheel or the pedals don't work...I need to do any setup first?
ive had this wheel for a year now, while using it almost every day. still works very good!
Still works?
Any update?

great channel, I've subbed now. thanks for this great review!! just got mine and it's so good!!!! love using it with GT6
Is it worth it buying this wheel second hand for 90$
May I please be told if it goes 1080degrees
Hackers ERROR:001 iT does
Should I get a T150, TH8A & T3PA or a G29 with the force shifter? I can get the G29 and shifter combination much cheaper than thrustmaster's offerings but I keep seeing bad reviews about it.
So Question after 500 thousand times using the shift peddles does it stop working?
how to set it up for Gran Turismo 6
Great review thanks. I know I can trust you guys.
Which games are compatible with this wheel? Which game would you recommand? Thanks.

After about 8 months, my clamp broke and now I have to improvise when attaching the wheel to my desk. Plastic is cheap for the clamp.
Thanks great review
Told my friends to get this for truck sim and at 150 now its better than buying a Logitech for the same price imo then if you want to upgrade you can
is the t150 wheel itself better than the g29? because for me i would want to but the better pedals and shifter for the t150 which makes it cost about as much a a g29 (with an added shifter).
No mate, if you can afford a G29/920 or one of these go for the G29
if you can afford a G29, get a T300RS. I went from g27 to thrust master and it's an amazing improvement
+Ofitus 21 the t300 is only 300 in my country which is as expensive as a g29 which has old technology in it .
Hey, I broke the twist bolt for the clamp, I was just wonder where I can get that one piece, I need the clamp and the twist to tighten it
Etsy had a few there
Jeezus guys learn to smile. Also do a review on Thrustmaster Ferrari Red Legend Edition Racing Wheel please.
The T3PA pedals (the ones that come with pro bundle) are really good
Christmas is coming up and I'm wanting to upgrade my from g27. I'm looking mainly at a wheel that will be compatible between PC and XB1 and from my knowledge, that means I'm looking at the Thrustmaster TX and one of the Fanatec wheels. Suggestions?
A great wheel...I have the t150
Hey John Sabol, are you any relation to the Sabol NFL announcers? I know it is off subject. Just wondered.
fk yeah just ordered t150 pro and th8a cant wait to get them :D
Weißt du wie man das Force feedback ausschaltet?
Any update?
In GT6 will this wheel be recognised as a T300? And if so will this effect Force Feedback or the way it functions?
How good is this compared to the G27 and is it worth it to get a brand new T150 ($250 CAD) or a used G27 which can be found around $200 CAD? I mainly play on my PC and sometimes my PS3
I should get the G27 :)
