Subaru Crosstrek Hood Strut Install

Install instructions for TSUBASA Lift Support Hood Struts. These will fit Subaru Crosstrek 2013-2017. These struts fully support the hood and are a great addition to any vehicle. This video is of my 2015 Subaru Crosstrek.

Thanks for making this video! Went on pretty easily! The hardest part was getting the clips off with just a flathead a CD driver, but I was determined to do it today. Works great, too! I would never have figured out the directions that came in that packed on my own. Even with help it doesn’t show or say much. So thanks again!

It doesn't look like there's much thread on top of the strut bolt to secure these properly. Have they held up and continue to work as good as day 1?

They've been fine. I probably have a little less thread because I have a tower strut bar installed as well. If you don't have that then you will have more thread than me. But I've had no problems with this.

I'm doing my suspension this weekend and just ordered these to thread onto fresh bolts. I ordered a set for my Ascent too. Thanks for the link.
