    Best thing to do is place the struts the opposite way with the thin rod on the bottom. That way the lube will go down and lubricate the rod 😎👍🏼

    It's a shame the Aliexpress ones take 2 months to arrive according to the page you linked to. I also tried the Amazon link you posted but that didn't take me to any product.

    Fantastic, will be added these to my ENV200. I have made a small box under the bonnet to keep my charging cables in, so I do pop the hood quite often!

    I installed new struts on the tailgate of my old VW T25 camper and also in the pop top roof. It's easy when it is a like for like replacement.
    I've never thought of putting them on the bonnet of a vehicle but I might do it on my pickup because the bonnet is so heavy and my wife and daughters can't lift it easily.
