I love that JBG gives folks a shopping experience, it's not just about selling a garment. These young ladies need to learn what good service is, so when they brckmf adults spending their own money they will require this.

The denim skirts look great on her, but the winner is the pink baby doll dress. That one ticked so many boxes. The sleeves and neckline were perfect on her, and the softness of the fabric made it all sit perfectly.
The dresses were the best. She can wear those to school too. The mom was annoying. She jumped in too much. I'm glad Summer was there to advocate for Maddison
I wish there were more stores for ALL sizes. I have been all sizes from a 3 to a 16. Women's bodies need to be respected and loved. Good job, SBG! Thanks for not trying to hide everyone in big, heavy clothing and for dressing a 14 year old like 14 instead of 35!

I've been watching the shorts all day long. Seen this longer version and want to comment to say I think you are amazing to have beautiful dresses to fit these amazing young ladies. When I went to prom, I wore the most hideous dress because it's the only one I found to fit me. I cannot and will not look at my prom pics. My son's wedding, my dress was a nightmare. I spent all my money to have one shipped to the store in a bigger size and the shape I fell in love in was lost. So, two major events in my life were ruined by dresses because of my size. I feel so vindicated watching these full figured young girls and women getting beautiful dresses that fit them and make them feel beautiful. This 14 year old I hope she went with the white top, it was amazing on her.
JBG is self-esteem friendly and parent friendly when it comes to her young clients! I love this for every young lady that gets to have a shopping experience. I'm sure that it's something they will never forget!🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

I think you will have a huge market with the teenage girls. I think the best was the multicolored shirt with the denim skirt, the red dress, and the jumper.
Her chocolate skin is amazing. Don't know what the budget was but everything looked good for a 14 year old moving into woman hood. There are going to be church programs, weddings and formal events, where having the dresses will come in handy.

Mom was just mothering. She has been dressing the beautiful young ladies for 14 years, so she knows what her daughter likeD.. Therefore, it is hard to let go and allow your daughter to decide if she likes an outfit on her own, without any input.
I am definitely guilty of this. Now that my child is 18 it is still hard for me.
However, I am truly proud of the mom. She allowed her daughter to have a beautiful experience, didn't take the critique as criticism, and she created a beautiful memory with her daughter.
She displayed her love in so many ways in this video. Kudos to Mom!! I can tell by the video. You are an amazing mom and it shows even in your daughter's personality
The mom should have watched a couple of UA-cam videos before taking her daughter here. She should know it's more about building self esteem up. Not necessarily finding your favorite shirt.

Maddison looks fantastic in lime green! Flatters her skin and hair so well! The fuschia dress was perfection. Fit her like a glove and would be a great staple for church and other events like weddings. Can add so many accessories to change the looks. The lime green ruffle dress was a funky and unique head-turner. I hope she got it.

Yep, im starting to see why the grandmother in that other video was getting an attitude, the shop owner is well meaning but she can overstep her boundaries at times.
I disagree with both of you. This is a CONSULTATION. The shop owner is doing what she was petitioned to do: present options and give advice. She is never rude, always encouraging and helps these young girls (and their families) open up to new ideas. A lot of mothers can have a hard time letting their daughters mature and this could be their first time seeing their daughters attempting to find and exert their own style. Kudos to the original Juicy Body Goddess for fostering this safe space for these young flowers to bloom 🌸
All this lady does is advocate for a group of kids who are the most likely to be told what they can/can't wear because of their body. She politely tries to give them the opportunity to make those decisions for themselves whilst they're in a safe space. I can't count the amount of heartbreaking conversations I've overheard between mother's daughters in dressing rooms.
