Hold it please hold it. I was raised in the church all my life. My mother is a First Lady, step dad is a pastor. I have never ever In my life seen a pastor snap and hush at a member.

@thomasrobinson, Yes, exactly! I, too, was raised in the church, and my uncle was the senior pastor. Not once, in many, many years of going, have I ever seen a pastor, preacher, or evangelist, do what he did to that lady. He was being arrogant and rude, period! It could have been handled differently, without publicly embarrassing her. People, please be aware of these celebrity/mega church pastors and false prophets. Many are not annoited or called by God, just giving themselves titles, to get rich quickly with the church hustle. Know God for yourself.

My prayers go out to this woman no one deserves to be publicly humiliated globally and I pray God heals her from any church hurt or damage that was caused by this
He was casting out a demon. Read your Bible baby. Everytime you hear a noise in church doesn’t mean it’s God. You have to call that demon out.
I was at a Benny Hinn conference once at a large arena seating 20,000+ people. During the service, as Pastor Benny began praying for the sick and people began walking toward the altar, a woman cried out from the back of the arena. Pastor Benny immediately said “Stop. No manifestations of the flesh.” Later, however, as those healed went forward to testify, a woman came forth who identified herself as the woman who had cried out earlier. She was out of breath and could barely stand because she was overwhelmed. She said she had been in unbearable pain in her stomach, that doctors had diagnosed her with some illness and that she had taken all kinds of prescriptions. But during the service, she felt all that pain leave instantly. And she was shouting out of amazement and joy. Everyone was so happy for her, including Pastor Benny. But he had wrongly interpreted her scream as a “manifestation of the flesh” instead of cries of joy. When people scream out like that, we cannot presume to know what God is doing every second of the day. So just let ushers go and minister to the person. Perhaps walk them to the pastor’s study. You don’t have to use your microphone to tell them to be quiet.
I've been to a few of Pastor Hinns Healing services myself, and you're right, I've heard him hush ppl before too...But also agree that because of the power of healing that's being displayed, you don't know what miracle in that moment they are experiencing and outta shear excitement and joy ppl will and should express their excitement from what God is doing in that moment, I mean isn't that what the service is for??? To be healed and give God thanks, I do not ever recall reading Jesus hushing anyone he healed...I think it pleases God when we are thankful for His blessings and healing power..
As he said, they spoke to her several times about it! And went on to say that it has been an ongoing thing with her for FOUR YEARS!!!

Amen!…. I attended his service about 20 years ago, literally as he prayed the stadium was silent & gradually I began to hear people shouting & crying out loud. It was like a wave that started at one end of the stadium. The spirit hit my sister & she began shouting. The experience was not mine to have, so I just watched & listened.
I sincerely pray that the Lord sends a compassionate person with the love she needs to begin her healing journey. Her wailing may be distracting, but she may have a valid reason or reasons we’ll never know or understand. We don’t know what people are dealing with and sometimes, the church is their only outlet to release and get their breakthrough. It took the woman years with the issue of blood to finally decide to push through the crowd against all protocol to receive her healing. I’m praying for you ma’am, wherever and whoever you are. God loves you!!
So if she has a valid reason for her yelling and she’s been spoken to over and over again about it she would rather continue wailing than open up and tell people including the pastor wha is troubling her.

It is more to this than what the Pastor is saying. I found that if you do not go along to get along- when you stick with Bible and not church culture and stand on the Word- you will be attacked and be made an example out of. But the Word tells me that I will not be put to shame. That lady could be standing for truth, righteousness and holiness in the midst of church culture and she is being crucified by the people of God before the world. If my assessment is right- sister Just hold your peace and God will fight your battle. No weapon form against her shall not prosper. I am not speaking against the Man of God- but I have personally have experienced the same things-
@@TribeofLevi0404but only God can fix a broken heart. Jesus says come to me all ye that labor and or heavy laden- the Spirit makes intercession for us and we utter words that cannot be comprehended. Also, on the other hand- the Word says let the spirit of the prophet be subject to the prophet. This means we have control over our vessel unto sanctification. When the Spirit is moving and it gets super quiet- it is like a big hush or quietness comes in the Spirit because the gifts of the Spirit is in operation. This is when the Holy Spirit uses someone that is Spiritual filled to flow thru- to speak to his people audibly- and the Pastor has to have control over the service and discern what is of God and what is not of God.
This is just my opinion. Pastors showed me growing up as kid that a lot are just human just like the rest of us so for me I never be surprised of anything that may come up. So I try to look beyond the mess and mess ups and keep my faith in nothing other than the Lord. Unfortunately humans will definitely disappoint! And this should have been handled with care.🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

He is the pastor for a reason. A pastor knows how evil spirits try to disrupt a service. Paul wrote about spiritual warfare in 1 Cor. No need to hear from the woman. She needs to be obedient to her pastor or find another church where such disorder is tolerated, period, and btw I make this statement as a pastor so Im very qualified on the subject!

The Body doesn’t go to the world to explain what’s going on in the church. I can’t see the Orthodox Jèws, the Muslìms, the Mormons, anybody’s leader going on a daytime talk show to explain why they did what they did in their service. They don’t care what we think. We’re not part of them. And I don’t see Pastor Charles Stanley or the pastors of old sitting up on tv to explain their church service. If you want to know what happens in church then come to church. He’s right. I grew up in church. Some people are disruptive and out of order and any true churchgoer knows this.

Nah I'm a believer, and been in the church over 44yrs, my parents are pastors, raised pentecostal and been in a lot of services and from my observation, the distraction wasn't the wailing and crying out, it was the open correction. Had she been doing this during the teaching of the word, while everyone is focused on hearing, then I could have understood her actions being deemed as disruptive, but even then, to find out why the person is interrupting would make more sense versus how Keion handled it. And before anyone gets their panties in a bunch, I understand bringing order to a service as the overseer, but when we get to the point we're we are controlling and bullying God's ppl and trying to redirect how they worship & praise him, it's NO longer about the FATHER and giving HIM the honor & praise, but about how we feel and what we want. The Bible, as I'm sure you know, says, "Let EVERYTHING that hath breathe praise the Lord." It also says in Psalms for us to enter into his gates with THANKSGIVING and into his COURTS with PRAISE, be thankful unto HIM & bless HIS name! No where in the word or psalms have we read to praise or worship in silence! We don't know what that woman may have been going through. Maybe she has been in a 4 yr storm, and her only outlet and sense of freedom is to cry out to Jesus and to shush her and keep her from worshiping in her own way was the real disruption & distraction.

He is not correct. I Corinthians 14:40. Let all things be done decently and in order. For a pastor to snap his fingers and tell a parishioner how to worship is reprehensible. A true churchgoer is not a Christian.

They do, but unfortunately, in both cases, no matter what we say, they stay the same. As believers, we are pilgrims in this land waiting our extraction to our true home. This is praying time that God's will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Only He can change things.

I haven't been to church in awhile but l remember when you couldn't go to a Baptist church and go speak in tongues they didn't agree with it! This was years ago but some churches don't have extra spiritual services where as you say the spirit uses you! Every black church isn't the same. You're not always going to have shouting and loud praise.
Exactly! I understand both perspectives, but some people are so adamant about defending him, they lose their compassion. They refuse to even hear the other side. They use scripture to back up their defense, but there is also scripture that can defend the lady.

Ya'll be doing too much in church sometimes, I can't hear the word and it's very distracting. Holy spirit brings order. Hope she doesn't make false allegations against him. She could be mentally ill too. I knew someone who did this, she would start screaming during the sermon, the pastor would have to stop and let her calm down.

My Pastor did this a few weeks ago. A lady kept yelling out Amen, Amen, Amen…she has done it multiple times on Sundays. You could barely hear Pastor. He finally asked her to quiet down so people could hear.
Was anyone promoting a book just days after attached to the situation? Hopefully this wasn’t to bring attention to go viral to deliver her book to the public. I’m just saying. That’s between them and God though.

That’s another topic because many pastors do not take money from the plate. My concern in posting is for her soul and if he did it because he did it to bring order or if he did it knowing or thinking it would go viral. Only God knows the motive. I like him as a leader, but the 4 years is the part that is throwing me because it is obvious she is crying out and there’s a deeper issue.

She was out of order. God wasn't speaking to her. The spirit of the prophets are subject to the prophets read 1 Corinthians 14:32-34 and get out of your feelings. Order must be established in the House of God and he used the set man of the house to do it. She shouldn't be there if she don't trust the leadership where she worships.

Order would have been having the usher board remove her lovingly from the service into another area no matter how many times its done. I’m perplexed!! I have seen a straight demon totally interrupt service before. The person literally grabbed the pastor and held on for dear mercy. So there is truth to all noise and disruption in church is not worship. I pray The Lord takes this situation into his hands. I wasn’t there.
I've witnessed bad spirits attack people who had no spiritual fortitude. I keep my armor fortified. I don't need demons trying to get inside. Amen!
I’ve seen it too and definitely have seen pastors not only tell someone to be quiet but also to sit down. Pastors that are filled with the Spirit of God know the difference between true worship and flesh. She may not meant it intentionally however there is a flow of the Spirit of God and most leaders can sense where God is going and I’m not saying in this case but the enemy will use distractions to try and interrupt what God is doing!
There is no doubt in my mind that some people work THEMSELVES up every single Sunday in an effort to be seen. It has nothing to do with being overcome or slain in the spirit. It has everything to do with showing out in an attempt to get attention. There is a huge difference. This constant disruption in church had to be addressed. It has gone on for far too long. I understand being under the unction of the Holy Spirit; however contrived and planned antics are quite annoying for everyone in the congregation. Some people do the same exact thing every single Sunday for no apparent reason.

Pastor has the gift of discernment. This happened at my church as well, about a month ago. It was so eerie YOU COULD FEEL it was different spirit, in the lady screaming. All the Ushers, and attending nurses went to her aid. The pastor got on the mic and said “we will not judge her, that lady has been through hell” we all just started shouting and crying out to God, for his covering over her. Whewww it was so chilling. Never experienced anything like that.

I’m glad he clarified that this is an ongoing battle. I’ve seen it first hand in the church. If you were in court you’d be ushered out. She wasn't singing rap music but crying and praying. Albeit loud it was not handled appropriately nor was it handled timely. We'd all be having a different conversation had compassion and timeliness been involved but neither seem to have been. If this was an issue for 4 entire years I would be upset as a member if fake activity is taking place at my church and nothing is being done to quell or help it. Ask yourself why is this being handled this way on tv? What if that lady was you?! And, if there was truly a problem there is procedure and a downline to handle in the moment so Pastor is able to Lead the prayer and connect with God. The fact he had to "handle" that right then also shows that there is disorder. Her actions, if fake, should have been a simple hand gesture from the Pulpit to the deacons to kindly escort her offstage. But He broke the order of service by snapping and shushing her in an unkind manner. Showmanship, not Order, was served.
