If you use their release and mags still drop, put a flare with a screwdriver on the top of the cutout on the magazine on the right side. Just a little bend on the side. Failure to feed, put a dimple on the back spine of the magazine by taking it apart and using a roll pin punch from the hole at the top front of the magazine.
Thank you for the tips. After installing the shield arm metal mag catch the mag didn’t fall out anymore and I now have 1k rounds through them with no issue
@@AkHighAdventures it really is necessary to install that. I have heard a few guys have to flare that hole in the mag for a more positive hold, but seems to be like that's a 1 in 1000 problem
Same issue with mags…until I swapped the mag release. They run. I still prefer the factory 10 round mags. I like my CC as light as possible. Try index cards 3x5. At that distance. It’ll dial in that accuracy…aim small miss small. Good job on the video.
Wrong. It seems like you wasn’t paying attention. I had the tyrant design mag release at first. It was the problem. After switch the mag release out to the shield arm mag release it was working fine
How do you like the shield arms magwell? Was it a game changer or could you have done without? I'm thinking about getting one too. Also I've ran about 1000 rounds through my 43x with their mag release and magazines and not one problem ever hope you like yours
I like it allot it gives my pinky a place to rest and helps me with a better grip. So far my mags are working fine also. Besides that it gives it a better look to the gun 🔥
How did you mount the 407k planning to get a 407 and leaning towards milking it down and mounting over using an adapter plate what do you think? Also do you like the tlr7 I was planning not mounting a light but I’m 50-50
I file the back two nugs in the back off and file the two front one until I see no light coming between the plate and the slide. Then I just file the screw down just a bit. You can tell you mess up if you see your extractor out of place or pressed on.
Just make sure your extractor isn’t pressed on. One way is to also just shoot it if it has failures to extract then you probably gotta file it down more
@@AkHighAdventures appreciate you man! I have a 43x mos I ordered the blue solution and file jjst waiting in the 407k. I fell ok about the filing I’ll take off rear completely and like u said file front little by little till I can’t see any light. Just worried about the screws lol love your build exactly what I’m going for
Man get the EPS carry. I have it in my 43x and a 407k on my sig xl and the EPS carry is by far better. Used the plate that came with it and a screw kit from a company that sells the correct length right side screw. Tactical Innovations or something like that. But EPS carry is the way to go. Enclosed dots are gonna be a norm. I have the EPS regular size on a 45 and they are just sweet.
@@AkHighAdventures Thank You. I've only had a few malfunctions with my S15 mags (Failure to Eject and Failure to feed) but I've run hundreds of rounds through them since with no problem. What I heard that fixed my problem (a little ghetto) but wrap about 2 layers of blue painter's tape around the empty mag, put in the gun, and then use a blow dryer on a high-hot setting for maybe 5-10 minutes. after I did that, I haven't had any malfunctions.
Thank you for the tip. After installing the Shield arms mag release I only had that 1 failure to eject. After that it ran no problems. I went and sent another 300 rounds through them again and no issue. But I’ll keep that in mind thank you
The only problem I had with mine are they would fail to extract when I shot 1 handed but I was told it may be because I was limp wristing so I will give an honest review once I try it out agian
Not a glock fan of the 4X Series, Glock just making the same models, with minor changes, G26 will always be the best subcompact glock, along with G27. But that is a nice set up, if it works for you. The G26/G27, will take all large magazines from same caliber larger glocks. But I am now a M&P fan boy.
After I ran it a couple more times it ran perfectly. I marked that mag so I’ll be using the other one in the gun. I just came back from the range and ran another 300 rounds through them and no issue. Maybe it just needed a break in
That’s what I was using in the beginning of the video it was dropping the mag and was having a bunch of malfunction. After that I switched out to shields arm metal mag and now it works. The tyrant design mag release does not work with the S15
shield arms mags do not work well with 43x mos for whatever reason. You are not the only youtuber thats had an issue with this. Def seems like the standard 43x mag works.
Everybody have different experience with them. I’m happy they run great for you as for me Imma hit the range today and continue testing them for me so far so good as of right now
Dude got that subcompact loaded with so much shit. I would put that stuff on a full size pistol maybe but not a dam subcompact. My Glock 48 cycles any type of ammunition using shield magazines and it’s stock except for the STEEL MAG CATCH and I am keeping it that way as with all my pistols which are stock. I have optics on my rifles only.
Everyone have they own taste. For me this is the ultimate carry pistol and with the red dot I can pick up the target better and shoot allot more accurate. With the overwatch precision tac trigger my grouping are allot better. So yes everyone have they own options.

Gotta put the metal magwell on the inside. Metal of the shield arms rips into oem magwell.
stop pushing the mag release when shooting the gun and it will stay in

Or just stick with factory mags instead of junk shield mags

My next purchase! 🔥💯
You’ll love it 😊
Did you get your 43x stippled or is that another form of a talon grips equivalent?
They are call HandleItGrip. I would say I like them better than talon grip
When ur mag came out were u using a tyrant cnc mag release Steel version or aluminum version because they have 2 diff kinds. Tia!
is that factory MOS or did you have the slide machined down?
It’s the factory MOS but I had the shop milled down the 4 pegs on the slide to fit my 407k directly without no plate
I have the same set up almost you need to trim the screw on the right that hold the sight on and it will feed right
Thanx for the tip but the gun shoots fine with oem mag
Glad it’s shooting good for you. I had to do that to run the shield arms mags

Check the screws on your red dot. It may be in the way of your extractor. Should fix the problem
Problem was solved. Had to Change out mag release to Shield arms metal mag release. Gun shoot fine with OEM mags
nah youll know when its the screws on red dot.. that was the problem with mines and that jam was different.. the extractor would be sticking out

Holosun 407k
@@AkHighAdventures awesome thanks you had to change the slide as well correct if so what kind of slide is best fit for that optic?
Limp wrists on first round i saw the recoil no controle on first round hold it tight .
