Since I saw in Discovery Channel or National geography years ago the documentary about Heavy Tow Trucks that I love that kind of stuff. Love your content. Portugal, Europe
Good content..new to your channel. The three people at the drop location are speaking in Punjabi a regional language of India, proud to see fellow Indians doing well abroad. Most of these guys would be in trucking or running automobile related businesses. Hello from Bangalore India.
Lmao I’m born and raised in Canada I’m a full Canadian lol but my background is yes!!! I just talk fast but I definitely don’t sound it hahah that’s jokes
I see you still have the hub caps on the rear wheels, didn’t you remove the axles from the rear end, never saw one jackknifed that bad, but seeing it doesn’t surprise me. Nice video my friend thanks for the ride. from Alberta
@@HighwayHeavyHooker always thought removing driveshaft was for short distance and for longer distances you removed the axles as done on the tow truck you hauled, I always hated pulling the axles as my aim wasn’t perfect and I hit the odd stud. Love your videos, keep em coming.
@@gerryspang5917 hey, yes I totally understand!and not to discredit your method, based on what I’ve learned over the years is that as long as the transmission is no longer connected to the rest of the driveline, you’re in the clear. I would much rather disconnect a drive shaft and have the axles spin freely than to remove axles. Because on most of the newer trucks you need to remove all 4 axles.. Just my preference I guess. Also depends on the type of driveshaft. The press on bearing caps are no fun so I’ll pull axles any time I get those. But the ones that have the bolts and strap, those are much easier to drop. Not to mention it was already done for me on this job so I didn’t want to do more than what was needed.
It’s got clutch pedal because that truck is not an automatic. You need to engage the clutch to put it into gear to start moving. It’s an automated manual. Changes gears just the same as a manual because it is manual gearbox. Not an auto gearbox. Big difference. Can see it’s a non syncro box as soon as you pressed the clutch pedal and hit clutch brake. Don’t need clutch’s for ptos in newer automatics
The video you put out about switching rigs You going to Lindons truck. I have an idea that he was going for the Darth Vader look by painting everything black.
Yes I think so too. I’m sure it looked really stealthy being all black when it was freshly done. I’m going to try to go all black again possibly and see how I like it
It’s hydraulically ran by a PTO pump it yeah I can see why it dropped down because they probably didn’t lock it in place because the manual next I don’t have to do that the ones with the VTO pump on the trailer I don’t have to do that
Here is a google definition so that it may be easier to translate into French: A power take-off (PTO) pump is used with farming machines (and all tractors having a power take-off at 540 repetitions per minute) to convert rotary power into hydraulic power. ... Other applications include running construction equipment, dump trucks and fire engine pumps. Hope this helps👍
Not sure if it meets US requirements. The other side has “oversized load” on it and I didn’t want to drawn the wrong attention if I needed a permit or pilot car to run that sign with the width I was pulling so I played it safe. The low boy drop is what we were told when we got the trailer.

Does your red and white sign meet US wide load requirement? I have not heard of someone dropping a low boy like you have shown.
