13.1 is still a good number for a stock EN. Very impressive.
This car can do a 12.8 in the right situation. Triple
Civic type r owner here. Great job. I'm super impressed. What a great vehicle by Hyundai. Keep it up.
I was rooting for you as I was watching your vid! Regardless if you got 12 secs or not, the EN is still an incredible car!
We almost got it! Thanks for your support!
Well done! Great video. Awesome to see someone actually record everything. 13.1 is great!
Been looking to get one of these for a while - found your channel and appreciate the coverage. Now I find out your racing it essentially in my backyard. Always awesome to find a semi-local channel and enjoy the car!
Damn great runs, and 13.1 is impressive! Thanks for sharing your experience.
Great video and informative as I have been so curious of the performance on an Elantra N while still completely stock.
I think it kicks ass👍👍👍
Thank you! Definitely a blast to drive, this thing continues to surprise many.
I’ve been waiting for this video😂🔥
13.1 is great for you first time out with the car
I agree! We’ll get that 12 eventually. Thanks David.
13.1 for a factory stock FWD “economy” car is crazy good! It’s funny, you begging your car to get into the 12s reminded me so much of myself the last time I took my Charger R/T to the track. I was doing the same thing but the best I got was a 13.4, so you got WAY closer than me lol. I love the Elantra N even though I don’t own one. I was set on an Accord 2.0T when it was first reveled to the press. It definitely made me 2nd guess my decision with the Accord, but I suppose I’ll have to live vicariously through your channel ha ha. Keep up the great videos!
My adrenaline was running that’s for sure lol. Plus the extremely long wait times between each run likely built up my excitement even more. But I really shouldn’t have been disappointed at all, the car really is crazy fast for stock and being a FWD 4 cylinder. And while I agree the Accord is very nice, once you get the chance to drive one of these you’ll forget the Accord exists. Thanks for the comment and thanks for watching 🙏🏻
What a little beast that car is! Great camera work.....
That's a great time! You did awesome, man. Too bad you couldn't get more runs, that had to be frustrating.
I'm surprised you didn't mention octane learning? I've tried to scan the comments, too. Maybe you have. But there's another EN UA-camr, I forget his name. He's the one in Tennessee with the grey EN. He ran a 12.9 stock with octane learning or whatever. You were so close! Thank you so much for the video!
Haha, you made me laugh with the ngs stuff. It's so easy to forget things when you get going!
Hope to see you soon ✌️
Been waiting for this! Thanks for doing a video on these drag races!
Would love to see a 3500 launch with a engine mount next time, which should knock some time off with that.
Also, heard that the JB4 runs pretty good on this car. if it actually works like the dyno show. It should get to under 13 sec easily!
Of course Dan, glad to make them and thanks for watching!
I really wanted to do 3500, but no dice last night due to the track closing, so maybe next time. And yes, JB4 is in the plans… maybe :)
Great times though make love the content i cant wait to get to the track
Wow great time, i did a 13:4 with my 2019 charger daytona r/t 5.7L
Solid job my man! I know firsthand how hard it is to remember to activate NGS when running (as you can see from some of my runs on Sam's channel lol). It gets way easier with more time, don't worry!
Thanks my dude! We’ll get this thing into the 12’s in no time 👌🏻
Man, what a great video. You’re such a likeable personality and your channel is going to be awesome. I’m also a dad of two and EN owner. I think running a 12 is possible but it’d be more about all the stars aligning. I’d say do some mods before taking it back to give yourself a much better shot.
Really appreciate the kind words my friend. And yes we’ll get there, even with a couple modifications if we must.
This is amazing. Thanks
Good stuff I was just as excited as you were lol
DCT is really good for consistency and running good times. With the manual you would be way up around 14.0 with a bad/iffy launch
Been following your channel since you got the car and I finally just got a call about one coming in where I live. Put the deposit down now it’s just a waiting game. Intense blue dct!
Yessss let’s go!!
@@ENtense any advice or things I should know? I can’t wait man
Great videos! Your mph suggests high 12s. Maybe leave a little harder but spinning may be an issue. I hear The Wheels On The
EN are Heavy. Usually losing 100 pounds of weight equates to a tenth of a second in the quarter mile. The great thing is you improved your time each run. Nice job!
Thanks Jim! Yeah the car is definitely capable of a harder launch. Just gotta find the right launch settings, and cut down on some of the “dad bod” and that should help 😂
Great runs! A 12.9 is definitely possible, judging by this video. It'll be tough though!
Tough for sure, but possible!
Definitely possible, with a da close to negative and putting a fan on the turbo inlet while you’re waiting it will make it, and very low gas on the tank. On pump gas I have seen a 3 tenths difference on my car when close to negative DA, but for a stock 4 banger a 106 trap is very solid. 👍🏻
Idk
12.9 is def attainable. Nice job!
im really happy for you .on goint to the track. im waiting to get a few bolts on . parts . companys are making those parts slow ..
Agreed, looking for some good bolt ons!
Great vidio👍💗🧡
Man thanks for spending the whole day to get this.
Tracks these days are such a PITA because of the other lanes being run.
Test and Tune should be for STREET CARS not the bs good ol' boys who bracket race every weekend.
(Also buddies with track owners)
Same issues here in Georgia too man
You’re spot on accurate with this Bruce. So many people were getting upset that day. So many of the pro stock / drag cars were taking forever and causing delays. If they’d just let the street cars have a day for themselves, we could have gotten 6-8 runs in.
@@ENtense years ago tracks would let street cars have entire weekend
Nice, 13.1 is very good for stock :)
Nice video brother!
Thank you Alex!
Your times are the most accurate and best representative of the elantra N. 106mph is right around what that car should trap.
Dam good run, that Elantra N is quick
Hope you noticed I did the temp and DA just for you 😂
@@ENtense lol, yes sir good info, and she definitely has a 12.9 in her even in stock form
Wow i did 12.9 in the g70 3.3t impressive as hell for the en
We just got an elantra N, and it's absolutely a blast to drive, makes you feel 16 again!!
Haha I know that feeling. Congrats on your EN!
Sounds and looks almost looks like NPS wasn't enabled (it's buried in the performance options, requires N-mode or Sport+ on the transmission too) but it'll shave a little bit of time during the shifts by basically doing a no-lift shift equivalent in the gear changes. You get a nice little "push" from behind too when it occurs, one of the best features of the DCT.
I actually do have this enabled, forgot to talk about it but I appreciate you mentioning it for others who aren’t aware of it. Definitely feel the kick when it shifts at WOT.
13.1 is amazing, I think you did better than what Hyundai stated.
Great Video. 13.1 @106 mph is nothing to be ashamed of from a stock EN. Still not quite sure what the obsession is with 1/4 mile time in a car designed for the track with turns.
(And you probably got 35+ MPG in ECO mode on the way home)
Lmao I’m so glad you said this, I truly did use eco on the way there and back and got 35 mpg both ways, meant to mention that but just kind of left it out because it wasn’t related. But for me the 1/4 mile has just always been a measurement of speed in my mind. And it’s very fun! Thanks Max.
The time starts when you break the beams, so your reaction time doesn't matter at all when it comes to E.T. I feel a 12 second time slip is in your future😎
Exactly, that's why a quicker R/T can beat a low ET run.
@@maxwedge5683 well actually your E.T. doesn't start till you move, so your reaction time doesn't matter here. Your progressed nicely...13.3, 13.2 and then 13.1, temps were perfect and it's quite possible that's the best for now. That one car running 110 mph though, either it's a ringer or maybe the truck is slightly downhill.
13.1 is an awesome time for what I assume is a stock N? Looks like the launch control works really well on the track. Wheel hop always gets me on the track.
Yup 100% stock. It did work well when I didn’t mess it up lol. Also putting the car is ESC+ mode turned off traction control, which caused some wheel spin but I had 0 wheel hop.
Hey bud. I’ve ordered a Cyber Gray Elantra N DCT! August 13 is the date it gets to the dealership. Super excited.
That’s awesome!!!
@@ENtense yes sir! I will definitely send you some video footage of it once it’s nice and broken in.
@@nstylemotorsportsracing1471 sounds good my friend!
Good stuff if u want to see a 12.7 take back seats and air kit out trunk
It's got a 12.8-12.9 in it , everything just gotta be on point from the reaction to the launch control rpm ,tires etc.
💯
Sticky tires like Nitto 555r eliminates the luck factor of "everything had to be just right"
Impossible to really practice when:
1. You wait 3 hours between runs
2. Track prep isn't consistent
3. Other shenanigans like a ZL1 doing a 10 minute burnout before his run
16" Nitto 555r's are pretty inexpensive man (18" are when they double in price)
Should be some bargain clearance 16" wheels on tirerack too
I did this with my Camaro (19" lightweight wheels on clearance)
Probably saved over $1000
Have you looked into the motor mount to reduce wheel hop? I know you said you didn't get anyway, but I am thinking if you wanted to max out the RPMs on launch control.
Definitely considering one. If I get one I’ll definitely test out the difference at the track.
Can’t wait for people to start modifying these more. The Elantra N’s potential seems so promising
I’ve been super patient on mods for a couple reasons. But it’s actually a topic I’ll discuss in my next video. Thanks for watching!
Either way, Those are still impressive times, 12.99 is harder to get then most people think, But it also depends on you're car.
Time to remove the passenger seat, lawnmower battery, lightweight wheels. Youll get your 12. Just got my N and ill give it a run. Im gonna be in the 12.9x stock trim. Let the diet begin! Bring a set of lightweight skinnies “genesis brembo spares” in the back ;)
Yes we can! Lets do it!
I'll bet you could hit high 11s with one of those sxth element stage 2 tunes.
Once more aftermarket support is available these things will be insane
I’d absolutely love to get into the 11’s. That may be more end goal type numbers, but I do agree it’s going to be possible in the future.
I have a stinger gt awd and using shitty oem LC my 60ft usually 2.00-2.10 and do 12.7-12.8 @108-109………so your right there. If you can get your 60ft to around 2.00 you can def get it. Or ona cooler day get your trap up to 108ish you got it. Still 13.1 @106 is very impressive for stock FWD car with less then 300hp(well atleast on paper) lol
Get that reaction time dialed in and you for sure got a 12.9-12.7. Regardless you have a solid baseline for stock form and a base for comparison when you start modifying it! 🤘
Reaction time won’t make the E/T better, but it is something I need to work on. And yes I agree, I’m curious on how quick we can make this thing 👀
Reaction time has zero to do with the ET. The timer doesn't start until you break the beam.
@@georgecottell6616 thanks man, I wasn’t thinking when I made the comment. You’re right though.
I've been to 131 a few times its all the way on the other side of the state so I don't go often. 13.1 flat is not bad at all for a bone stock car that puts it somewhere between a stock 5.7 and a scat
I believe those are respectful times on the quarter mile, but the car will be much faster on a road course event based on its intended design. Great content. See of race slicks would make a difference?
Not drag ripper myself, prefer carving corners; everything after this is conjecture.
Heard a lot about the finicky nature of the launch control. Have tried enabling the anti-creep in the N menu? Haven't tested out launch yet (gotta find a safe place), but I suspect Hyundai included that in for a reason...
I think I would try again with anti-creep on, launch control on, traction control off, tire psi around 30, and hit NGS around 3500 RPM in second gear.
Again, all conjecture on my part, but thought I'd add my 2 cents. Nice runs, though!
I think launch control is easy to use if you do it right, I just completely messed it up the first time around. I have anti-creep off just because I’m not a huge fan of it, but I also don’t think it would effect the launch at all. But I do agree lowering the tire pressure being dropped a bit would help. Also felt like it launched better without traction control and at a higher rpm. We’ll see how it goes next time, but at least I have a baseline for testing next tome. Thanks J!
I totally agree that the anti creep needs to be turned off and do not use launch control. I consistently get better 0-60 times just by using my foot instead of launch control. Either way awesome runs my dude.
Light weight wheels and sticker tires will give u .1 and .1 with more practice. Go somewhere a thousand feet lower in elevation might give you .1 and can keep wheels and tires stock.
Dude those are great times. Seriously no launch and without NGS hitting a 13.3 is solid. These cars are a tune away from 12.
Can’t wait to see what it’s capable of!
@@ENtense Yup absolutely. I don't know if you caught my other post but Race Chips is gonna use my car to develop their EN tune. I'll let you know how it goes.
@@LordHolley definitely keep me in the loop!
Take a trip to Cecil County Maryland, in the lste Fall. (Or the Spring).
It will be -1000' DA, minimum.
This may not be relative to a drag rece video but I'd like to report my freeway mileage from today. I had to drive 117 miles round trip to pick up my daughter today. I filled up right before, made the trip and stopped to top off the tank afterwards. I did 65-75 mph, cruize and a/c on and got 38.3 mpg (computer showed 40.5 mpg) I always use the calculator method as it's always accurate. In these days of almost $7.00 a gallon gas, these numbers are ALSO important. I also used ECO mode for this entire trip😇
Definitely impressive how this car is capable of amazing gas mileage and performs incredible at the track as well 👌🏻
13.1 is great man
Anyone know where to get the official Hyundai cold air intake and the updated warranty with what performance parts void the warranty? Can’t find anything online.
I saw something about it, but it was in Korea I believe.
Very cool car I’m hoping to get an Elantra N in black here in the next year or 2! What the hell did they do to that Camaro running a 11.1 🧐🧐
Your car is very impressive, and completely stock.
It’s impressive for sure!
Great video, you would have beat that SI no doubt. Maybe you can closer one so you can practice.
Definitely wish I had more tracks around me lol
Great times!! Also, that’s crazy that you can do 3200 rpm, my Kona N only allows up to 3000
Goes up to 3500! Wanted to try it honestly but ran out of time. Didn’t know the KN was limited to 3000. Very interesting.
@@ENtense wow, yeah…extremely interesting lol. I wish mine could launch harder, I’m assuming it’s because of the extra weight
@@robertmcgee3616 yeah that’s quite possible
I hit 12 stock
Nice! DCT I assume? What track?
What RPM setting for launch control is best in your opinion? Also do you find you launch better with esc off?
3200 felt great, and I felt turning ESC+ mode on (level 3) was great, as it turned off traction control and I’d rather have a little spin than the bad wheel hop. Although I’d like to get more testing in the 3000-3500rpm range to see what works best.
Sounds great thanks for the feedback 👍
Yo- FIRST run was a 13.3?!
...my 99 WS6 with 3:73 ran a 13.1 (!)
That's moving pretty good 😲👍
Hey man plan on getting one of these at the end of the month however I'm 6'6 was wondering how much room you think I'd have
I’m 5’9” with plenty room and comfort in my opinion. Your height won’t hurt you that much, but I hear complaints from heavier guys over 300 over 6ft tall. Seat may be a little snug, but would break in over time.
Awesome thanks man
I'm 6 foot 2 1/2... I have short legs and im all torso. I always have difficulty finding cars that I fit in but with the elantra n I find I have a ton of head room. It's a small car but doesn't feel cramped at all inside
I’m a Hyundai tech, I’m 6ft 220. I’ve done the pdi process on them, the only complaint about the size is the bucket seat, but after a while you get used to it
Any updates on the recall thing?? I was looking into buying one and got really excited then I saw your video on the recall and I was sad
I have yet to see any official updates. Rumors keep flying around saying parts are on the way, while others keep saying July.
Here’s what’s worse in my opinion, as an owner WITH the recall, Hyundai has yet to contact me about it.
@@ENtense I'm going to stay positive and keep looking for one to get, I've done alot of research and I really like this car, keep up the videos man I like watching for more information on the car
Don't get on the launch control until the other lane lights both yellows..thats when the tree starts. It's easily a 12 second car at or below seal level d/a.
Need more practice for sure. Hopefully we’ll get there 🤞🏻
The car is a beast through the 1/8th but drops off by the 1/4. For example my 06 V6 6spd accord would run a 9 second (mostly because of my bad launch) @ 83mph but run a 13.5 @ 107mph in the 1/4. So the mph and 1/8th time match well on the Hyundai but after that the car really does fall off. It must be the stock tuning?
It definitely does not have the top end power, but it surely launches very well and it’s great til about 70-80mph. I’m curious myself on what kind of tuning can be done to the gearing.
Gotta get that reaction time there, launch on the third yellow, it will drop that reaction time significantly
Definitely need to work on that, it’s been so long lol.
It doesn’t hurt to have a good reaction time but that has absolutely no bearing on your time! Great job at the track especially being rusty like you stated. The truth is though you can take all the time you want sitting there. Most all record attempt runs you will notice they sit there with the light green for a few seconds and make sure everything is absolutely perfect! Take your time launch at the right RPM hit that NGS and I definitely believe a 12.9 is possible!
Reaction time doesn’t impact the time of the run so doesn’t really matter how bad his reaction time is
Lol
Reaction time doesn't matter unless you're racing for money
@@Highlander1432 true and also while bracket racing!
Btw
Check out tirerack for a cheap set of 16" or 17" wheels that are light too.
(Enkei's are awesome but pricey)
Then find a set of Nitto 555rII for the front.
I promise you've got a 12.7 in it with just the wheels/tires.
Once exhaust/intercooler/tune (E85) is released then I am confident you can touch 11's in cooler weather
One issue with the fronts though, is that 17” wheels or smaller won’t clear the large brakes. But I do agree having some smaller tires would help. Would like to get some 18’s with maybe drag radials, or if nittos of some kind would work just as well, perhaps that. But just 2 to throw on the front when I go to the track. Thanks for all your suggestions 🙏🏻
Wow, 13.1 is a great number, I wonder if Accord 2.0 Type R will be able to keep up with you....
Does this car take 93 octane I cannot firgure it out I read 91 octane in the book but I’m still missing power only 250 torque and 15 boost
I use 93 all the time. But there’s constant debates about what you should or need to use. Me personally, I highly recommend anything 91 or higher.
Seems like you had quite a bit of wheelspin. Maybe launch at a lower RPM, with NGS, and you may nick 12.9? :)
Wheelspin overall wasn’t terrible in my opinion, but many improvements can be had for sure. Just wish the track was closer and I’d go more often.
@@ENtense Did you try airing down the tires?
@@LeftenantMalachi left them untouched, all at 40 psi the whole night.
The N is such a solid car... I bet the difference between a 13.1 and a 12.9 is literally in your reaction time your literal weight, and in small variables like tire pressure, Launch RPMs, and weather etc.
You'll get it.
Yep we’re almost there! Reaction time doesn’t effect E/T though. But the 50 pounds I could shed definitely does 😂
@@ENtense Haha, I relate, and true I just realized reaction doesn't affect 1/4 time. If it inspires you at all, I have a modded 2021 Malibu RS w/ intake, exhaust, tires, and slight weight reduct (weird, I know), but it's a similar FWD layout. Losing 40lbs of my own weight seemed to positively affect my launch, could be placebo though. However, my car is on the lighter side and weighs about 3050 lbs, which can make any weight reduction feel much more dramatic
Its time for a JB4, HKS sparkplugs and air intake tune next.
First, gotta convince wifey 😂
I'm sure this thing would hit a mid 12 at least with those mods maybe lower, crazy if you think about it
Wouldn't that void warranty?
@@paulklp8262 those parts can easily be removed if the car needs a service at the dealership.
haha i thought that looked like martin dragstrip
Lol yup. My first time there. Was nice, just wish they let the street cars run more often.
Get some slicks for the front and you’ll probably get your 12
Good runs.. And I am a N owner, I don't think we r going to see 12s in these stock!! 1 whole sec is a huge difference, 13s is where I think these wills it maybe a little under 12.99 maybe? But good thing is some small mods etc and we will def be in the 12s.
You’re right 1 whole second is a huge difference, but all we’re trying to do is get a 12.99 or less. So we’re only talking about .2 difference or less. And yes some bolt on mods and almost any tune and we should see mid 12’s.
Hey I go there once in a while. What town do you live in? I'm in berrien county on the lake. I have a 09 Cobalt SS, a few bolt ons and tune. Could meet there sometime for a video. Or if you are close enough, could meet in Mexico lol
Edit.... I forgot to mention last time there, I ran a 13.5 with a glorious 2.3 60ft lol but 107 was my best mph although mostly 106mph. Would be a good race I think
I’m in Jackson, it was a hike for me to drive there lol. But I’d love to go again sometime, certainly would be a fun heads up race!
Your car is going to go kaboom
Ok 😂
shoot 13.3 on first run is not too shabby
I agree! I had such high expectations which is probably why I sounded so disappointed lol. Still a great night of racing though!
@@ENtense a bad night of racing is still better than a good day of work :) Mine will be here between June 18-21 . Performance BL / Manual
Can you launch with ngs engaged?
You can, but with wheel spin / wheel hop, it’s likely best to not give it anymore power at the very beginning, which is why I meant to wait and hit it right after launch. But just kept forgetting lol.
I don't know how many miles on the car but the engine should loosen up after 10k. Keep enjoying the ride.....
Only 1,300 lol
Gotta get the engine mount to fix that wheel hop
Definitely in the plans, should help a lot with harder launches.
@@ENtense does it flat out your warranty?
NGS: Not like u were rowing gears. You had one job. Lol 😋
Yeah it was pretty bad 😂
I bought the manual. I think the DCT is almost like a different car. It's like the pdk/manual in the 911. The manual N is 100 lbs. Lighter, but much slower. They dyno different also. I keep telling myself I made the right choice, but the dct videos are killing me.
I’d really like to drive a manual version to feel the difference. But ultimately I have no regrets, as I wanted something I could just throw in drive and go. Also at the same time I totally understand the fun factor with a manual.
@@ENtense having owned many manual cars, the N has a bit of a soft clutch disc in that is doesn't bite hard. Easy to drive slow, but a bit lazy when going fast. The takeup is high and im getting used to it, but there is not a lot of feel. The shifter makes a plastic click noise going in to each gear which is kind of cool and feels mostly plastic. It does not have the "rifle bolt" feel reviewers always talk about. The pattern gates are narrow making the hunt for third a bit of go to neutral and then up instead of one motion from 5 or 6 to for a freeway pass. The reverse collar is mounted too high in the way of the fingers in the style of palm on top, fingers draped over. It is very firm though and I'm glad the N has one. Coming from miatas, s2000, rsx-s, fiesta st, c7, civics, mr-s, it' behind all those but the mr-s. Maybe the c7 in that it's less bulky. The c7 has a pretty good clutch/shifter relationship though. Come to norcal and we can trade for a drive.

If DA was sea level and cooler it would run the number
octane learning?
Any CAI company that make one for these?
Nothing with proven gains that I’m aware of. SXTH is working on one, but even theirs will have no performance gain according to them. Shark racing has one, but not sure how I feel about the quality of that product.
@@ENtense thanks for your quick answer buddy!
A tune alone should get you to around 12.7 (if tuning is available for these yet)... and a sticky tire would get that 60 foot down by 3 tenths as well (MT drag radials)... that doesn't mean 12.4 Lol, it'd just help with launch and maybe drop you a tenth overall...
There are a couple tunes available, just not sure how I feel about them yet honestly. Also considering a JB4. But yes some sticky tires would help, it’s just unfortunate that the front brakes are too big and you can’t put a wheel on it that’s anything less than 18”.
@@ENtense That sounds familiar Lol... Ya, best to wait until the tunes become solid since it's a new platform, although that other little Hyundai has been around a while... same engine I believe; however, transmission tuning is a completely different ball game I'm sure since you have a Dct 8spd, which is the way to go! Unless you want to have fun with a manual Lol. At any rate, I had the same issues with my 09 Cobalt SS 18" rims with big Brembo brakes. A 245/40r18 tire from MT would fit it, but it is slightly oversized. I've quit taking it to the dragstrip though as I don't want to break it since I rebuilt it. Already have an unknown issue currently in the drivetrain and I haven't used WoT in her since the rebuild in 2018... I was still working on the tuning end of it (fueling couldn't keep up, so upgraded injectors/hpfp threw the tune way out, especially since I was trying to tune the old ones with the bigger upgrades Lol) up until last weekend... now I sit and wait for an answer to my problem before I tear the subframe, axles & maybe transmission off of her. Hopefully nothing major...
I want to see more of your N though... I'm quite interested in these things!
@@TheKnightWolfen yeah I have the DCT. And those cobalts can definitely be quite a monster, one of my friends had an ‘06 SC’d version. Wheel hop in that was quite bad as well. But yeah I’ll probably wait and keep an eye out for products in the future. It’s a shame the VN has a different engine bay, plus a smaller turbo, so a lot of those components don’t fit. We’ll see what becomes available and I’ll be sure to share every bit of it here on the channel. Appreciate the advice 🙏🏻
@@ENtense Np bro.. I'll be watching ;) And ya, my slowbalt might be a bit of a monster... just wish I could get everything done and not break Lol... high hp isn't friendly to work with but it's sure a blast once it's moving.
Need to gut it with nitto tires to get a 12.9.
Try at 3,500rpm without seats just yours 12sec can came true.....good luck
Brother….if you can afford it, get yourself some sticky tires and I have no doubt that you’ll make it in the high 12’s.
Definitely would consider it if I was able to make it to the track more often. It definitely won’t take much to get this car into the mid 12’s for sure!
If you put drag radials and ⚒ on the launch this car would hit 12s stock.
Agreed.
You complain about the Camaro but you're the one that immediately lit both lights (very bad etiquette) and put the motor on the limiter while he was still doing a burnout. Light the top light, then wait for them to light their top light.
Every 10th off your reaction time translates into two tenths at the end of the Quarter mile. Get a 1.9 60 and there’s your 12 second time!
Shaving off that 60 foot will surely help.
Yes indeed!
@@ENtense As you said, reaction time has nothing to do with ET. FWD is always a tough launch but with practice and the right tires it might help. Your 60' time isn't that bad.
Reaction time translates to nothing on the big end, when you are running against yourself.
@@georgecottell6616 I meant to say 60 foot time!
12.9s for stock Elantra N is impossible
With my 6MT, 13.39 was the closest I could get.
That would certainly be the fastest I’ve seen or heard from anyone with a M/T, nice job!! Get it on video next time and I’d be glad to share it!
Wow. Was that stock?
This numbers is not for a 276hp, hyundai lie in this engine
