    Love how his voice has matured down through the years. The man has provided the soundtrack to my adult life.

    The man just can't stop! Great music pours out of him. I guess that's why I've been a major fan for over 35 years. Damn, has it really been that long? Keep 'em coming Paul. Peace.

    Love the new tracks already. And his hair is looking cool as fuck again!!
    His dedication to his art is admirable. A musical constant pretty much unparalleled by his predecessors, peers or potential heirs. Take note kids!! This is how it's done properly.

    His best ever. Big statement but as a complete album I honestly think it is his best. I can't stop playing it. Love seeing videos like this to see how it was borne and came about. The guy is a national treasure and still vastly underrated and ignored outside of the UK.

    I think the live performances are just the cherry on the cake of PW.
    He consistently get's inspired, and creates off stage when anywhere near a musical instrument.
    He's got two sides to him, the artist/creator and the other side; the performer, and he's brilliant at both.
    A true artist and a true great.
    I really can't think of anyone who has started so young and consistently delivered for so long.
    I do wonder how a young PW would have got on on Britain;s Got Talent! lol

    Paul Weller is a music god. Saw him for the kick off to his US tour for A Kind Revolution in NYC recently and I was BLOWN away. This man's vibe is so high you can't help but get high with him in his presence! His music is better than drugs! LOL

    Love the behind the scenes of the making of the album, and the meaning behind the songs, as for the state of the world with war and political issues I can't really change that myself, but people like me who loves Weller's music do feel energy and change when at one of the live gig's he inspires so many of us and yet he is still so humble and that I very genuine I find ,in him as a person and in his music

    Fuckin PHENOMENAL ! ... A 170 check out of an Lp ! Forty odd years on the ciggies is payin' off ! Vocally , the man has never sounded better . If this is what packing in the booze can do fer yer an all , I may consider it !?! Who else , at 59 years of age would have the musical ambition & imagination to call Boy George in & produce a killer trippy/house track like ONE TEAR ??? Mr W has also , thoughtfully given us the Lp of the summer a month early - to bed it in fer the hot days/nights . Big love to you , Paul . Can't wait fer the next one 💥😎

    • @mosesberkowitz3298
      @mosesberkowitz3298 7 років тому

      Oh my god, are you for real? Except for ONE TEAR this album is crap; just like Saturns Pattern and the one before that, whatever the fuck its called. His voice is getting worse and worse, and thank your ciggies for that! Loved all his stuff until about 1988, after that he lost any and all focus.

    • @darrencooper4971
      @darrencooper4971 6 років тому

      Moses Berkowitz 'Loved his stuff' til about 1988 ??? So what , you're saying is - essentially you're not remotely qualified to have an opinion on this Lp . Why are you here ? Turn the lights off on yer way out ...

    • @mosesberkowitz3298
      @mosesberkowitz3298 6 років тому

      Why am I here? Because I keep hoping Paul will stop listening to berks like you who think Paul is the second coming of Jesus Christ. When an artist listens to the asskissers too much (asskisser; that's you too) he gets lazy and complacent. "The Cranes are Back"??? He sounds like a drunken old sod. Want proof? 4 months up and only 4,000 views. Now stop pushing Paul down the wrong path and demand something better. You know he's capable of it.

    Loved the Style Council,
    After that, only occasional Paul Weller tracks have interested me, and really nothing in 20 years. Its getting to the point where I would rather him stop recording--he's only diluting his legacy and the impact he once had. But I listened to ONE TEAR and enjoyed it, so maybe this album will change my mind.

    The entire album is beyond awful. He hasn't produced a good album for maybe 15 years. The appalling 'Heliocentric' was the beginning of the end. This is so poor, so dismal, so discordant, that I wish he would give up songwriting.

    • @StuartCook
      @StuartCook 6 років тому

      Long Hot Summer I beg to differ. This is a decent album, with some fine songs and interesting structures. Agree that Heliocentric was awful, but the rot had set in on Heavy Soul. His best solo stuff is on Wildwood, 22 Dreams, and this new album. And Sonic Whatever was largely crap.
