Great vids mate I tend to use the bite alarm if fishing a out and out carp rod other than that it's the quiver tip if using a feeder rod but everyone to there own Cheers
I used to use method feeders on my bite alarms on big fish lakes .. prefer it over a single bait tbh.. wish I had time to get out more! Enjoyed the vid 👌
Was your dad fishing with a method feeder? I've been fishing a local small lake with my son mainly maggots and sweetcorn on a feeder rod, been doing great...no carp as yet but lot's of tench, not to big, from around 8 oz to 3.5 lb..like the videos and have subscribed.
Yes we was both using method feeders/banjo feeders. That’s great, if you can try a 6mm wafter banded on a 4 inch hooklength, close into the bank, I mean like less than 1ft out. If there are carp in That’s where they will be, still nice to be catching tench though 🎣
Thank you for saying keep the volume down one thing I absolutely hate is the dreaded bleeps most “anglers” can’t leave them alone constantly touching and messing around with them if I had a fishery I’d ban the horrible things
Using the bite alarms is a great idea, especially when your attention is on filming and explaining things. you don't miss a bite or loose your rod.
Also good through winter method feeder fishing as it gives you the patience to leave the rods in longer !
Love this video mate
Good video thanks for sharing. I like how you explain your reasons for doing things. Subbed.
Thanks Chris, Yes I think a lot of people skim over things to much when it’s the finer details people need to know 👌🏻 thanks for watching buddy !

Love your vids mate, but I think you should get the fish back in the water a bit sooner. Just saying.
You've mixed up the techniques a bit, whatever, enjoy mate.
Just my way of doing things Mario, it works !
