There’s even a prequel for Age of Extinction that shows how Optimus got his arm fixed after Chicago, how he was ambushed by Lockdown, & how Bumblebee was forced to leave Sam. Another one of The Last Knight, that shows how Galvatron made contact with Quintessa, how he was turned back into Megatron, & what Barricade was doing after Chicago. What’s even great is that the group made a sequel for The Last Knight. It shows how Unicron became one with the Earth, what happened to the Quintessons, why Quintessa was a problem to Unicron, where did the Allspark came from, & what happened to Sam.

IMO: I really only have the original Shia LaBeouf trilogy as the main story and the other movies are just movies. I wanted bumblebee to be cannon to the original 3 but since they said they’ve never been on earth before 2007 than it couldn’t be unless they forgot or brain washed 🤷🏻♂️

OK, in the Bay-Verse these are obviously not singular plot holes, this is a gaping void completely ignoring previous source material. There is no amount of timelines that can fix this. I respect a human toiling away for his paycheck and being good at it. Bay most definitely is. He was selling seductive voluptuous exploding scenery steaming hot CGI and a heavenly inspired M34GAN F0X. And nobody who worked a day in their lives can blame him making that dollar. But as proven in this YT-video, as long as MB was directing there was just rule 34 disguising as a movie skywarping around most PG barriers and anybody doubting this, may tell it straight to my face because Bay-wise there is NOT more then meets the eye. It is comparable to someone, after watching Su1c1de Squ4d, saying that it was an integral part of the DC narrative. I claim, we all watched that "movie" because of Will Smith & Harley Quinn, the costumes and the special effects just plain guilty pleasure. Transformers prevailed until Bay and obviously they prevail even after he had his cash grab. I do not have anything against timelines, when they are constructed carefully and the story actually works within these timelines. When things completely stop doing sense they do not have to be included into an otherwise coherent universe. If you ask the average viewer of the GIGA - Baybusters about any timeline they can tell you the explosions were nice and the actors were looking good. In the moment someone actually tries to integrate these explosion feasts into actual story line, people immediately realize that it is futile because the loose Bay-pieces were never meant to become one big story. They were just the best looking scenes put in a hopefully favorable order so the customers can enjoy. Like in a restaurant. Nobody confronts you at the table: "Dear customer we can't serve baked potatoes with the Peking Duck, these two dishes do not belong historically together". The people just want to have a nice evening, switch off their brains and enjoy the bright colors.
Okay as incredibly messy as the bay verse film series is , I hope *some* of the better elements reused in hasbro s cinematic universe the g.i.joe/transformers film.

After the G1 cartoon the Galvatron name just became the new name for whenever Megatron got upgraded to a new form/ paint job with no change in personality which is different from Galvatron's first G1 appearance where he's a revived Megatron but with a different voice and personality.
