Id still love to experience cordovan in person one day. Id also like a breakdown of that new Roanoke leather that nicks announced

One of my worst experience is buying shell cordovan from some other tanneries then seeing parts of it crack and snap in two when bent. It is crazy how bad the non-shell part of these newer brands. The surrounding parts are worse than pvc-ed splits. In the end you get some shell, but a lot of polished/laminated(?) horsebutt. I craft stuffs out of other brand's shells, but for the most special gifts, I only use Horween's. It is painfully expensive but at least you don't get bunch of cracking mess. 😢

Say hi to Crown Northampton while you’re at Stitchdown.

I suggest getting something small, a lighter sheath or coaster something like that to experience it. I think it's pretty amazing.

In business there are products that are super competitive and you need to run lean. Then there are products that are both your luxury and unique products. You have always made clear that Shell is your crowning product, they always sell out, and they are factors better than the competition-so you should 100% work your way up to at least a 20% profit. I’d argue maybe even higher.
I could have no idea what I am talking about within leather, but I am always searching for shell boots and there are never available. Also, I’d easily pay more than the $800-$1200 for them.
Half of it is protecting your companies and defending your brand.
