Loads of stress due to personal life and work. I gained much weight in the past three years and my skin and sleep pattern were a disaster. Now that I'm succeeding dealing with my challenges definitely things improved, the first change was my heart rate while resting! My sleep pattern is still a mess but not much I can do with it as I travel across timezones a lot. I knew cortisol was one of the biggest culprits in my messed up weight and skin, but first time I see it so well explained. Thank you for producing these videos 🙏🏻

Great information!! It’s always good to watch your videos. I actually had no idea that when you’re in fight or flight that your digestive system turns off- very interesting. I recently started meditation and prior to that I had no idea how much stress I as carrying due to having a lot of responsibilities and goals. Great Video!!

Thanks Reggie :) Yeah it's crazy how it can affect our digestive system. That means that it affects nutrient absorption which is so critical to health! I like that you have started meditation. What type are you doing? I like the guided meditations on apps like HeadSpace

Your body goes into stress during childbirth as well, and works against the natural process! What?! That is why there are therapy’s such as calm birthing & Hypno-birthing interventions to help your body relax to push that head out! - who would have though that such a natural process, your body is working against each other.

Omg I didn’t know that! You’re right, how weird they work against each other 🤔
